Great selection- all the beads, fixings findings and chains you would need, incredibly sweet staff, and overall just an absolute vibe. I'm a crafter so I loved spending my time in there digging through their (literal) rows of beads. I went in with no specific project in mind but left with so many cute finds and tons of advice from the staff. They were also wrapping up a group event with some kids while I was there- seems like a great place for a little one's DIY charm bracelet birthday. Lastly, if you're unsure what you want, you can also pay around 5 bucks(? not sure the exact number) to sit there and build something directly so you're not having to buy anything you're not sure if you'll actually use. And again, the staff are all endlessly kind and so knowledgeable- they'd def walk you through anything you're looking to do. If I could give this a 10 stars I would! What a wonderful shop and a very cute cool area. The offering is extensive any bead you could ever want they have and then some. It was a very rusted assortment, which was so fun from a creative standpoint. We also had the most wonderful class with Mike. He could not have been more patient and articulate and detail oriented. It was absolutely perfect and he showed my daughter how to make a real necklace w clasp etc. he was so wonderful and he was married to the equally wonderful owner who was just absolutely delightful as well! My daughter and I had so much fun three hours flew by in the blink of an eye. They stayed open late for us they usually close at six and they stayed open until 630 so we could finish our piece which was incredibly nice just beautiful, can't wait to go back read more

this place is a true find! I had broken the string on a set of 15th century Japanese beads, and I was quite concerned about getting it fixed. Mike one of the owners took great care of me. He re-strung the beads, charged me a very reasonable price and did a fantastic job. I love Beadahs. They have a very wide selection of beads and other items like bags, jewelry, and accessories. Shannon who is the owner, is very nice and welcoming. Mike is also very nice and welcoming. I was looking for a bead shop and came across this place on yelp. I came in and was looking at all the beads, and Mike approached me and asked if I needed any help. I told him this was my first time at Beadahs and asked how it all worked with the loose beads. He explained everything and brought me a tray to put my beads on. I picked out my beads I wanted, which took a while to chose because they have so many beads to choose from. I went to the register to pay, and Shannon asked if I wanted to take my home or if I wanted to make it in store. I decided to make it in store. Shannon asked if I wanted stretchy string or if I want a magnetic clasp. She got me a bead tray and cut the beads I was going to use to make my bracelet. After I was done stringing my beads, the other employee assisted me in finishing off my bracelet and added the magnetic clasp. Beadahs is a lovely neighborhood bead shop! I came in here recently to get some crystal bead bracelets shortened and they were friendly and did an absolutely great job achieving the right size for my bracelets. They were able to do the adjustment on the spot and there's tons of beautiful items to browse while waiting, including jewelry, beads, pendants and crystals. I'm definitely curious to come back and possibly pick some beads and make some of my own jewelry next time!! WHAT A FIND!! I've passed this store many times but thought it was only for a particular clientele until I went in and asked if they repaired jewelry. I brought in 3 pieces for repair. One was a lovely charm that needed a particular type of sterling silver chain - which Beadahs had. Another was a beautiful stone from Barbados, and Beadahs found a beautiful (and adjustable) necklace for it. The final piece was an intricate design I've owned for over 30 years and the leather broke. I was devastated thinking that it was not repairable but Beadahs made it look brand new. I thought I'd need to leave the pieces but they had them ready in 15 minutes and the price? The price was astoundingly low so I left them a nice tip. The workmanship was impeccable and is worth 4 times what they charged. They were the friendliest and most helpful people and I hope everyone goes out of their way to support this little shop. read more

So this place is like a toy store for adults. If you like making jewelry as your toys! My bf and I decided to make necklaces for our anniversary. So they basically tel you how to start when making the necklace and they give you a board to place the beads and other trinkets you want. You can also make bracelets and other fun things. They have such a crazy variety of beads and other stones and what not. I chose lava rock beads, beads made out of bones, a flower pendant, and some others things. And he chose some really cool things with lots of meaning. Casey was the person who helped us and she was awesome! Helping every step of the way! We've come before to get necklaces fixed and Ben usually helps and he's also very good at what he does. This is such an awesome experience and you can't make gifts for people that really mean something. They have things from all over the world. My necklace altogether cost $69 with the different beads. You can find a row of beads to start of with from like 12$-40+$ Ps. A lot of ppl seem to be complaining about the owner and the people working there and their attention to customers. I will say the owner can be a bit much and seem a little rude at first but after a while she was fine and actually laughing and taking with my bf and I. The coworker I worked with today was great. She did spend some time with one particular customer for a while but between us three she was doing a great job at answering all of our questions and helping us in a timely manner. And yes! You do have to write down every trinket you get with the price, code, and a small description but it's honestly not that big of a deal. And I would suggest just doing it because it helps the checkout become a lot faster. They have so many little trinkets to sell so if they have to figure out what you added then it's gonna be a while. read more

Excellent!!! Shannon, the owner of Beadah's, is a phenomenal lady with a like-minded staff who are always kind and gracious. Her mom, Ernie, is her partner, and she's kind and warm, with a great sense of humor. Shannon's husband Mike, along with Rosalee who both helped me, were also fantastic! The store is large and beautiful, with an over-flowing selection of single beads, ranging from .15 cents on up, and much, much more as well, from around the world. My 'Go To' spot for beads now after repeated poor experiences at Bead Boutique near The Grove on 3rd St. in Hollywood, which I would suggest you avoid like the plague! read more

I like it here! I bought a lot of cute pendants. But in relation to other bead stores I've been to, the prices are a bit high. About $8 for a string of no more than 10 butterfly beads. Some pendants are priced nicely while others end up on the pricier side. But the variety of charms and pendants is hard to beat. Will be back! read more

Stumbled on this place and it was the best surprise. Truly made my week and I'm telling everyone. The variety of beads/jewelry hardware, the calming but creative ambiance, and the SERVICE!! They went out of their way to help me test different beads on different chains I was interested in, were sharp with product knowledge, and even made (literally demonstrated) theoretical designs I could do to solve an issue I had with a project!! And they even welcomed me to bring back my own small project so I could work on it at the little workstation setups they have available (where I can get their help/use their tools as needed/etc). AND, I saw they have classes throughout the week. What I meant to originally only be a quick look through to see selection, ended up being me spending over an hour just enjoying this shop. I'm not even a particularly crafty person, but I would start craft projects just to have an excuse to shop here. Diamond in the rough So glad I found this place, hidden in a Santa Monica strip mall type alcove, and it is so homey. One of those places you could spend all day in.
