Where we were parked could not hear the audio very well. My partner and I stood in line for TWO HOURS TO THE MINUTE for a radio, ice cream and popcorn. Time we finally got our order and returned to the vehicle to watch the movie, I saw all of 7 minutes of the movie. Some staff member are very polite and hospitable, other were very rude. I watched a woman argue that her child did not receive the souvenir cup that she ALSO stood in line for TWO hours for. ABSOLUTELY refused to help her in anyway and sent her away.

We got to see some great blockbuster movies this past summer when the baby was still a few months old and we didn't have a babysitter yet. When you first drive in, bring cash because it's like a dollar cheaper. I believe the first several rows in front are for nonsmoking. You can tune your radio to the station but before the movie starts (at sunset) they play some golden oldies. We tried the drive in with the suv backed in and laid blankets down with some fold up chairs. I think my husband got it right when we took the truck and backed in and set the fold up chairs... Sitting up higher gives you a better viewing of the screen. We went and bought a hand held radio with batteries. Some people stay in the car with the engine running.... But we have seen several cars battery die. They have a very strict rule of no outside food. Some people really complain about that and try to sneak it in. But it's a family run drive in, they probably don't make a lot of money from ticket sales....so not sure why people try to beat the system. Their menu items aren't that bad. It's better and bigger than a regular theater. Chili hotdogs to rootbeer floats. It's always gonna be a two for one showing. Some people don't stay for the second movie so during the 'intermission' people will drive off. It's a great time to get a better spot if you came in late and got a crappy spot. Is it the best cinematic experience? No, but it's a fun switch up for the kids, and an awesome way for new parents to still get to see movies out of the house. Sidenote: Summer's can be hot and lots of mosquitos. Definitely invest in bug spray!!!

We decided tonight to get out enjoy a nice movie under the stars. Our son graduates High School tomrw and we wanted to celebrate with The Mandalorian Movie. First off, the only person who can eat anything they have is my husband. We paid for storm trooper popcorn buckets and didn't even want the popcorn and asked for them not to be filled so the kids could have them to keep as keepsakes for their rooms. We bought the souvenir cup and the one we ended up with grogu was misfiguted. My son took it back in they told him they can take it back. I get that, they could have made it right. We spent $36 to get in and over $70 on the two buckets, two souvenir cups, and a large popcorn bucket for my husband and his dip n dots. I do not know when the quality of the screen and picture got so terrible. We were in the front row and could not make out the characters in the movie. It was extremely dark. My husband went as far as finding a trailer and fast fed to part we were at and the picture was so colorful, yet chiefs was dark and hard to see. One character is red and you could even tell. We ended up leaving 40 mins in bc we were so miserable and couldn't tell what we were watching. Between fuel coming all the way over and concession, we had $200 in this night for graduation and nothing sadly to show for it.The screen and quality needs an overhaul.

It's been hands down our favorite movie experience in the metro area. So when there's a problem, which is rare, there should be a way to figure out how to get resolution. Not the case today. For some reason unknown to me, the movie we booked and paid for was unavailable. My daughter arrived at the theater first and was told they tried to contact folks who booked if they had a phone number, but we weren't notified. (Yes, my account has my phone number.) Anyway, I'm sure these things happen and the movie wasn't available. So, the young man at the front processed a refund for us. EXCEPT the $8.64 booking fee plus tax. He said "they don't refund that." For a movie they couldn't deliver? We drove to the theater to be told we couldn't see the movie and had to pay their booking fee? No no. A booking fee implies they booked something for us. Not only did they not deliver their product, they charged me for the failure to deliver? This isn't the kind of customer service I expect, and I certainly should not pay for the mistake of trying to see a movie they advertised and we paid for in good faith. I need my $8.64 back. I'll be happy to update if I get a response. I would have emailed if there had been an address that I could find on either my app or the website. If it's there, I couldn't see it.

After a less than stellar evening, to take the time and follow up showed an intentional effort to care about customer experience. If you're going to spend your time and money to support a theater, make it one that actually cares you're there. Flix does not. They moved my kid and I from our ticketed movie time to another 45 minutes later in the evening. No warning or explanation besides, "Oops, blame corporate"

Vintage travel trailers used for concession stands...and some available as AirBNBs. Beautiful restrooms. Our kids bring pillows and blankets and watch the movie on the hill in front of the screen. We usually bring lawn chairs to watch. Food is reasonable, yummy, and fun. Even fire pits...buy a s'mores kit from the concession stand!!! Truly the best!!!

The prices for drinks and snacks are so expensive though. The theaters are really nice with big screens and lots of seats to choose from. I love that they all recline and have a heat function.
