2 out of 5 stars…read more Showbiz Cinemas Edmond has become seriously disappointing. This used to be the theater in Edmond -- comfortable, clean, and somewhere you actually looked forward to going. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. The seats are badly worn out and uncomfortable. Many of them feel collapsed and overdue for replacement. The theaters themselves were dirty overall, and the cup holders looked like they haven't been properly cleaned in ages. The bathrooms were the worst part of the experience. The smell of sewage was overwhelming, and the cleanliness was honestly unacceptable for a public entertainment venue. I'm genuinely surprised the Edmond or Oklahoma health department hasn't stepped in to address the condition of the restrooms. It's frustrating because this place used to set the standard locally. Now it feels neglected and run down. Edmond deserves better.

Clauren Ridge Vineyard and Winery is a true hidden gem in Oklahoma's wine country. I didn't know…read moreabout this place until I was invited to my cousin's birthday there, and it turned out to be such a special day. The winery itself is charming, with beautiful vineyard views that give California and French vibes right in Edmond. The wine tasting experience was excellent. There are wines for every preference...rich reds, crisp whites, and some sweet selections too. Never had chocolate wine before, and I didn't know how much I needed it in my life lol. The wine flights, wine slushies, and mimosas are all worth trying, and the appetizers were fantastic alongside the wines. I also found the prices to be very reasonable. The atmosphere was delightful, and you can tell it is a family-run winery with a real passion for quality. The vineyard is well maintained, and the setting is both welcoming and picturesque. It is no surprise that Clauren Ridge is also a popular spot for weddings and other events. Our group spent time out on the veranda and patio, which made the celebration feel even more special. To top it off, my cousin was proposed to at the end of the party and got engaged. The whole experience was beautiful, and I am grateful to Clauren Ridge for providing such a memorable backdrop. We purchased a wine flight and evaluated two each of their white and red offerings. We both detected that one white and one red offering had a slight 'off' aftertaste which seemed unnatural. (One in our party does not regularly drink wine, the other drinks primarily red varietals, 95% of which are from Northern California regions.) Overall we agreed the best of the group was the "Saddle Thief Reserve" blend. We would not be buyers of any Clauren wine at this time, however do look forward to returning and tasting the "slushies" on another warm afternoon.

I really appreciated their kindness and helpful way they explained meat and how to cook it. They answered all the questions and gave me pointers. They have freezers full of beef, pork, eggs. All types of cuts, bones and no bones. So many options. I had recently said meat from big stores doesn't taste good anymore and I don't like to eat it. This meat tastes fresh and like food used to taste. I will be back soon.

We played Augusta - fun course, average hole lengths, busy, but not busy enough to slow your play. Their clubhouse isn't as big/nice as Cimarron's (price is the same), but it was still a refreshing change of scenery. I will probably stick with Cimarron for Guthrie golfing, but would still recommend Augusta! Just make sure to bring an extra sleeve of balls :)

We toured it years ago and you could see all the old equipment and presses as well as the set up stuff over several floors. Don't know what's allowed today. This was more of a walk around tour if the city. The building looks great from the outside. Guthrie has a lot of history having been the original capital of Ok.

There is so much history in that area and I'm glad that there are plenty of signs/placards in front of historic buildings around town that tell you its story. I really appreciated all of the detail and stories that the historical fund/society put into all of the informational signs. It's fun to look around town from the first State Capital building and see that each building was built in the late 1800s or the early 1900s. It feels like everything around you takes you back in time. I love those experiences. They also offer a trolley ride for a reasonable price which I believe shuttles you around town. The trolley is really neat but I didn't get a chance to take it but saw others enjoying their ride on it. I highly recommend that you take some time to visit and walk around the old parts of a historic town that's been beautifully preserved l and restored.

However, that being said, my dad is…read more So, seeing this museum, we had to visit and take pictures to show him when we go to visit for Father's day tomorrow. This place is full of Oklahoma sports history. All sorts of pictures, collector's items, and even seats and benches from famous sporting arenas. It should be more well known than it is. It was very warm inside, so I think they do need ac put in as those that go will want to take their time looking around. I know we did and like I said, we are not into sports all that much. But this was worth the stop. There is also an area for meetings and other events in the center that is designed as a replica baseball field. It would be a great spot for a sport banquet or honoring sporting event award winners.
