PT Professional provides outstanding care with one-on-one attention. Prior to going to PT Professionals I had been going to a different physical therapy group on Merritt Island. PT Professionals is so superior to this other group. I have been treated by several of the therapist and all have been very professional and skilled. Normally Chardae is my therapist. She is very caring and knowledgeable therapist and I always feel much better after a session. She is extremely knowledgeable of the various physical therapy techniques. I most recently have been treated after surgery on my shoulder. PT treatment started the day after the surgery. She has me perform various exercises to strengthen the shoulder. She manipulates the shoulder to allow for more range of motion. My favorite acitivity is when she massages the shoulder. It feels so amazing. She knows just what to do to make the shoulder feel better. She is a very skilled and professional therapist. While having treatment I have watched while therapist provide other patients therapy. They customize the treatment around the patients problems and abilities. Over time I have seen these other patients continually improve. Sitting down at a community table to discuss my therapy & to have my bandage opened & changed among everyone else there was something I had never experienced before. Private health information & wounds were always cared for privately. Of course, the therapy itself was in a large open room similar to the one at Hale Hand Clinic... Karen was very kind and knowledgeable. I was pleased with my therapy & my progress thus far... Can't wait to see her Friday to show her what I can do now!! MARCH 2025 Review: PAPERWORK... Should be offered to be filled out BEFORE arriving. The first time I went in February, I had left-hand surgery & could still use my right hand to fill out the paperwork... However, less than a month later I had right-hand surgery and could NOT use my right hand to fill out paperwork. Thank goodness there was someone kind enough to fill out the paperwork for me, but if given the ability to fill out the paperwork online before the appointment - it would've been MUCH easier & more comprehensible! JUNE 2025 Review: I'm done! Both hands are feeling great! I needed some Iontophoresis therapy & that utilizes electrical currents to deliver corticosteroid through the skin, to reduce inflammation and pain in my hands. Karen would massage both hands (palms), wipe off the lotion with alcohol, inject the Dexamethasone onto a pad (with a built in battery) that was connected to the Iontophoresis machine (using electrical stimulation (electrodes). Ions in the substance use the charge of the electrical current to deliver the medication by repelling each other like magnets.), stick it to my hands, & then put the 2nd electrode pad will be filled with saline & placed on my arm to help conduct that electrical connection, so to speak... THERAPIST: Karen is Awesome! Sometimes there are double bookings of clients, but don't worry! For instance, when I was on the Iontophoresis machine, there wasn't anything she could do for me, so she was with someone else, but was always Very Close by to help if needed & pay attention... This place is Great!
