Me and the wife really enjoy this place being so close the the beach/harbor is really nice. They have two really big issues, one the amount of people who feel the need to just peel rubber and give it everything the second they hit that little straight leaving the beach. Not too sure what can be done about that. The second thing they really need to get on is campers for taking multiple spots it's super frustrating pulling up to your spot and find group next you is parking their cars there or took over your picnic table hanging out drinking beer blasting music. This issue seems super fixable with just some routine patrols, one time I told them and they literally asked me well did you asked them to move? dude that's not my job it's yours. read more

Disappointed! We've been coming to this campground for years, it's rundown! I will give you the pros and cons.. CONS: BUSY, especially on the weekends. Cars & trucks are in and out constantly cruising. No one is in the office, they have a number for you to call for a host, the kiosk outside the office was not working. People unhook their trucks from their trailers ( or toads) and then park them in the front row of the beach, rather then in their site, blocking your view of the ocean. State Park so it's open to the public from 7am to 10pm. Locals come in the evening and bum cigarettes and money, they know the code to the restroom so they ask people for quarters so they can take a shower.... The showers are filthy! The road in and out is full of potholes, speed bumps are not clearly marked, and the overall condition of the RV park has diminished greatly in the last few years. PROS: This full hookup RV campground is steps from the ocean. read more

I arrived on a Tuesday 2/3/2026 and got all set up only to realize I had no electricity at my full hookups space #25. My cell phone was dead and traveling alone as an older gal, my kids were worried sick when they couldn't get ahold of me. It was after office hours so I had to wait til morning to ask the office personnel to let me charge my phone so I could call an RV repair place, thinking the problem was with my motorhome. The manager on duty said he would check the park breaker to eliminate that as a possibility. He didn't. After waiting all day for the mobile RV repair guy to arrive, I was shocked and relieved when he flipped the park breaker and I immediately had power. When I called to ask to stay another day to make up for lost time on the first day, I was told I'd have to move over one space because this one is reserved for Friday. There is nothing special about this spot, it looks just like every other spot in this long row. To break camp and move 5' is ridiculous. I am in a motorhome with a slide out, breaking camp is a chore. The only difference between this spot and the one right next to it is the number on the power box. I won't be back. Ever. And I will be letting my camp group know how this entire experience went for me so they don't make the same mistake I did by staying here. I'm pretty upset at how I've been disregarded and how unaccommodating this place is to its campers. Paying for full hookups, and only getting partial hookups for 24 hrs, along with the stress of worrying all day that my motorhome had electrical issues and wasting the time of a Ryan's mobile rv repair to come fix the parks issue is unacceptable. Not to mention the audacity of being told to break camp and move 5' in order to make up for lost time to enjoy my stay at the coast. I'm sure they don't care about my business, nor do they care that they took 24 hrs of precious time on the limited amount of vacation time I had. You'd think they would be more accommodating. Such is not the case. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

Great views and sounds of the ocean. When we booked the site over the phone, we asked about the enclosed trailer we tow behind our R.V. and were told it was fine. Upon arriving, we set up camp and three hours later we were told that the trailer had to be parked in the dry camp area for an extra $10 a night ($30 total). The host drove by our site many times during setup and he didn't say a word then. Explained the situation to office staff. They didn't care. Would have been nice to know when we booked the site and asked about it. They made us park it in a really sketchy spot. Wasn't happy! Our trailer is converted for our son to stay in during the family event we attended there. Total of 4 spots booked for this event. Didn't matter to management. read more

t's been years since I've been here. Unfortunately, the changes are not for the better. The car dwellers and the cruisers near the channel gave me an uncomfortable feeling and left filthy messes on the walkway. Didn't care for the dog lady's multiple intrusions. Never stepped inside the public facilities. FHU pull-through sites were easily accessible. Dog friendly. Quiet at night. read more

Stayed here in 2014. Manager said something as blazingly ignorant as "So, if you're disabled, how come you can drive??" Was charged extra (different classifications and rates then) as the man was absolutely sure disabled people can't drive. Perusing their website now, I see they're classist as well. Will always color my impression of what Brookings must be like. read more

I love this place its so nice and quite and close to restaurants and five minuets to downtown and make suer you go the the farmers market south off the main road, so here is the bad thing, there's lots of homeless druggies everywhere most of the time they stay away in the trees during the day and everytime I would see them I was never threaten at all and I don't even think they ever ask me for anything, but my $2000 EBike was stollen they cut my $30 master lock right next to my RV camp spot, and a few nights later two more bikes were stollen, there's not much police around so the homeless make the rounds at night so have light censors, so don't let this stop you from staying here just be prepared. read more

This park has recently been updated which is very nice. Although the campsites are small you literally can step out onto the beach or sit in your site and watch the sunset. Full hookups which is great and the prices are very good. Would give 5 stars if the spaces were a bit larger and if you didn't have to pay for the showers. read more

After knowing about this place for a while, we decided to give it a go. Part of the spaces are full hookup, which was where we were, in the pull throughs. We suspected it probably wasn't an ideal place to rv. We were right. We stayed here during off/on rainy weather and Fri-Tues, but that wasn't a big deal. The #1 perk - It is nice being right on the beach. We're always very aware of theft issues, so we left little to nothing out. They close the gates to the place at 10p-7a, but that only restricts few hours. The area is open to public which attracts hundreds of people daily parading through, speeding, loud junky vehicles, riff-raff, revving cars, loud music, parked loud vehicles which idle for long periods of time. The public access areas in front of and behind on the exit road, have ZERO respect for those in the rv area. After their annoyance in the area, they race and speed away on the road behind. And there are more who do this than not. This unfortunately starts right back in the AM when gates reopen. If you're here to rest overnight, don't expect much. I know the park itself has little to no control over the very close surrounding public areas. If you're seeking rest and relaxation, this probably isn't the spot. It's a very very high traffic area. We will probably not return to this particular rv park. Sadly, the public access areas out of the park's control, ruin the whole little area that rv people pay to use. read more

Great place to RV. Lady in the checkin booth was very nice and checkin was great. I love it here. What could improve is how many people loiter around the laundry room and bathrooms. Kind Of creepy. I went to do my laundry and 2 guys smoking kept coming in and out. I was scared. I told her at the office and she did have them removed. Yay. I do see the hosts patrolling a lot which is nice. I see the public in here along the beach. More Security would be nice. I love the walking distance to the Boardwalk and shops. Great weekend for me. I can't wait to bring hubby back with me. Definitely going to be my favorite place on my way to Seattle. This would be 5 stars if facilities would be cleaned up. People have sooooo many dogs. One rig has 4 Great Danes, a lab and a terrier. Geez. Others have 2-3. Wow. Barking was crazy when I got here but it's ok now. read more

The most redeeming thing about this park is it's proximity to the beach...literally like 10 feet. We stayed in a pull through site and just had to cross a small parking lot to be right on the beach. The beach is a public beach, so even though you are staying at a reservation only RV park, there is a public parking lot literally across for your spots and there is no privacy. There is a ton of traffic all day long, and it made me very nervous with my children. Spots are small and basically parking lot style so there is no where outside of the beach for the kids to play or ride bikes. There is no laundry and the showers were being renovated when we were there, but the bathrooms were clean. Fire pits are also not provided in every spot and you have to request them when you arrive. We might stay here again if it was just my husband and I, but I doubt we would bring the kids back. We have a child with autism who tends to wander and we did not feel that this environment was safe for him to do so. read more

Loved it here! We added another week to our stay. A bit pricey (~$50) for what seems to be a beach parking lot but the views are worth it and still lower than most ocean fronts. The beach had driftwood all along the coast and was a sight to see in itself. Agree on the tight narrow spaces. Our slide out literally touched our neighbor's awning sun protector. But we had a 39' motorhome with space to park our Jeep in front or back of the coach. And the park would bring you a fire pit if you ask for it. There is constant public passerbys pulling in and out of the parking spaces in front of our RV but didn't bother us none. There was plenty of space to ride our bikes around and can't wait to go crabbing/fishing in these small nooks with benches/parking behind us. We also noticed a huge empty lot behind the RV park by the marina that a few RVs have been parking overnight. Dang, we could've done that for free! Internet was good (not great) and gets more throttled at night. Very windy and still cold but amazing sunsets and can sleep to the sound of ocean waves. We love it despite the cons. read more

Arrived late after office hours but were able to find the website accommodating and got a spot. We dry camped along the river. Calming sounds of the sea and water. We love this place. This was our second stay here over the 4th of July weekend. We stayed for 7 days both times. My husband and I have stayed here several times with our RV since we purchased it almost 2 years ago. We've loved the location enough to ignore the tight spaces, but after this past trip I think we are done. One thing to note about this park is there is unrestricted access to ANYONE at ANY TIME. Those sketchy folks who look like they are casing your stuff? They probably are. And they will be back that night with cable cutters for your E bikes as the sound of the ocean masks the noise... When the sheriff's deputy came to take the report he said unfortunately this has become a common thing there. When I talked to the office person she was sympathetic, but not surprised. She said the person who could review the video would be in the following day, but we've never heard back. After a sleepless night two (we still had kayaks to be stolen) and a very disturbed neighbor in our campsite ranting nonsense, we left two nights early (no offer of a refund either). I emailed the park asking about any updates and have received nothing. Do not recommend. read more

5 stars for the view and the friendly staff!! 2 stars for the park. We were on a 12 day road trip with our beautifully restored 1956 Vintage Trailer. We stayed in 8 RV parks and this was the only one who required we send pictures in before they would approve our reservation. The RV park itself is shared with the public during the day and the vehicles roll through there non stop and also park between you and your view. The bathroom and showers are also shared with the public and let's say the salt water had taken its toll on the facility. Spaces are tight. If you have a dog with fur that collects weeds and such, beware the foxtail at the pull-thrus. Foxtail is serious and if it gets imbedded in a dog's fur and skin it has to be surgically removed. I checked the bathroom & showers. They serve many people throughout the day, and look that way, so don't expect more than that. Tonight there *is* hot water in the sinks. The views here are wonderful; listen to the surf crashing all night long. And then just when I was going to upgrade my review with a few more stars, someone parked here stopped by with a tale of woe, asking for gas money to get her 17 hours south of here. I gave it 5 stars because: 1- the view & very nice manager 2- the wonderful location right on the waterfront 3- we drove in around 6:30 PM and was able to get a spot with a partial view, even though we were in the back row (but it was a Monday) 4- it has full hookups & cable, although we could only get 2 channels clearly; but we didn't come here to watch tv I read a lot of the previous reviews and their negative comments are probably true, but luckily we didn't experience any of them since we didn't need to use the showers and we were here on a week day. read more

No signs that say you can't stay here in a car. In fact their signs said single car enclosed camping. So I felt like we were safe to pay their $45 parking fee. Then we get a call in the morning to vacate early because we aren't allowed. I say ok and they go into drama about why I can't. If you feel bad, change your policy. We have our own fridge, food cooker, toilet, and bed in our car. Not sure what else you would expect a fully enclosed camper to have. read more

We've enjoyed this place in the past years but this is our last visit. Beautiful location but the TRAILER PARK environment spoils it. The place is completely run down. The Restaurant and Laundromat are trashed and closed down. The wifi does not work unless you're in the office. The 50 amp electrical only works on about 6 lots and is not expected to be available next year according to the maintenance staff. The TV works some of the time with a lot of snow. We were told that due to a serious loss of monies the county has not put any back in this facility for the last several years. THIS IS NOT A NEGATIVE REVIEW JUST A STATEMENT OF THE FACTS. This was our first camping trip in our new camper and we were happy that we chose Beachfront RV to stay. We were there for four nights and loved every bit of it. Right across the ocean, steps from the beach, the staff were super friendly and helpful, and we met some really nice people. We were lucky enough to have one of the free fire pits given to first-come, first-serve guests and we had a campfire every day and night. The last time we stayed in Brookings, we had a room at the Beachfront Inn and paid over $170 a night. Beachfront RV Park was only $51 for a pull-through, full hookups space. You can't beat the view or the sound of the waves at night. Word of caution: They don't staff the check-in area until 1PM so if you go early (like we did), you'll have to wait but it's worth it. We'll definitely go back! read more

Stayed for two weeks, 45' coach, plenty of room at site. Personnel at this rv park make it what it is, the view and distance from the ocean, the marina and fishing industry are fabulous. Charter boating is available, fishing is abundant, fresh seafood restaurants all over the immediate area within walking distance of the park. Be sure to stop by the Brookings Harbor visitor center to view gifts, rent a bike or have a snack. The grounds need more support from the "administration" to put the park at 100%, but the onsite staff do everything they can to make your stay a pleasant one,.. hats off to Jennifer, John and all the other folks that make it work. Right on the coast with ocean views, full hook-ups, fire pit on request ($5 bundle of wood). Bathrooms and showers are bad. easy in-out access. Quiet park with the sounds of the ocean and lighthouse horn at night. Internet service is inconsistant. Could not get online with my laptop but could with my iPad; then the opposite???? Before I made the reservation I was skeptical because there are ZERO photographs of the "tent spots" online. When I arrived I went directly to the check in lobby where I walked in on the hostess and a customer arguing with each other and the customer was wanting a refund for two nights that he pre-paid for but didn't want. She condescendingly denied him the refund and he left upset. When It was my turn in line the hostess took a phone call in the middle of my transaction and spent 3-5 minutes telling me I needed to wait. (The check in booth is a VERY small room with no AC and it was extremely hot and uncomfortable so I was trying to get out of there as quickly as possible.) After checking in I traveled down to the tent sites where I was shocked to see a dead seagull in the middle of the parking area (It remained there for my 4 day stay). Also, The tent camping spots were crammed between a public street (on the back) and a large gravel parking spot (in the front). The spots were EXTREMELY small (just large enough for a tent, fire pit, and picnic table) and had ZERO privacy from the spots on either side. There was a security company that would drive around the campsite every half an hour or so. Which at first I thought was great until it got dark and the security officer would shine his bright light into the campsite (even when everyone was asleep a light would pass through the tents which made for a VERY lousy sleeping environment.) The first day of our stay was extremely windy and with no tree cover our tent was folded over on it self pressed against the ground 90% of the time (I am amazed that a pole didn't snap.) The campsite is also located near a coast guard base (which would announce over loudspeaker when meals were being served and whenever a boat entered or left the docks at any time of day). Starting at around 6:00AM. The second day the coast guard had a helicopter land in the field on the other side of the road behind the campsite. As it was leaving the helicopter flew DIRECTLY over the campsite which obliterated about half of it. Peoples tents were tossed all around the parking lot (poles snapped), and peoples personal belongings were broken and flung into the river. The bathrooms were dirty and the toilets were clogged 1/2 the time I was staying there with toiletries that were poorly stocked despite there being a "maintenance" truck circling the campsite almost constantly. This was one of the WORST camping experiences I have ever had and I will not be going back to this site anytime soon. read more

By far the worst place I've stayed, which is too bad, because the property is right on the beach. However, they are way overpriced and wanted $35 for a little space in the gravel. That's it. No electrical. Nothing. They are also very rude and snobby. Too bad. read more

My family of 5 (kids aged 6, 4 & 2) stayed here for a week for the 4th of July and to visit family. The employees and people in the park were great. No issues. Yes it bumps right up to a public beach with areas for public parking, but it does not get OVER crowded (except for on the 4th which is to be expected). The bathrooms next to our end were decent for what they are. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. read more

I agree with Todd on Pro's and Con's. However, I only gave this RV Park 2 stars - and that's only because of the view (when you can see it) and the sound of the waves at night. This is a very dirty and run down RV Park. Spaces are tight, cement pads pretty useless unless you have a small or narrow rig, gravel is almost non existent - so it's dusty and dirty. A lot of weeds and "stickies" - so check your pets. I doubt we'll be back - which is too bad as with a little clean up this place would be so much better. read more

This is our favorite place to go in Southern Oregon. Very easy to park and I love the ocean. I noticed that many of the negative reviews are older. I have been coming here for two years and find nothing negative. I can't comment on the bathrooms & showers, because don't use them. The grounds are very clean and the employees a very nice. Love the lady at the front desk. Very friendly. Pricy, but in my opinion, worth it. Love being right down on the beach. Thank you for such a wonderful campground. P.S. NOT ALLOWED!! These are the words that we heard when we came this year. Let me start over..We have been coming to this park for over 30 years. With some nice changes and not so nice changes. This park is part of the Port Of Brooking Harbor, which has one of the best fishing ports in Oregon.. FISHING is one of the industries that supports Brookings .But you can no longer have your fishing boat or any other "cargo" trailers in the park at all NOT ALLOWED!! You can't have any obstructing devices to block out wind etc. NOT ALLOWED!You cant even try to check in until 1PM because the office is closed ffrom 11 to1. The office is also closed at random times throughout the day. No Refunds on the washers and dryers that don't work, The employees are NOT ALLOWED to do this. I could go on and on about the inflated price and Internet?? But I think you got our point. We are not "whitet rash" just hardworking people who want to fish and support the area. NOT ANYMORE! Oh and BTW where is that security that is mentioned on your rules?? Saw them once! read more

We pulled in just at dark, no one in the office, found someone in a RV that was in charge, we ask about wifi, he said yes they had it, he gave us site 63, said to pay in the morning. We drove around and around looking it, there was none so back to the office, he said park in the last one spot on the end, got down there to find some one in it. So we took the spot next to them,We hook up to electric only. We went to take showers the bathroom were so dirty, and no heat, the door wouldn't close to keep the wind out, skipped the showers. NO WIFI , the next morning we went up office , a very nice young lady was there and was sorry about the wifi. The price for that night was $51, everything is old and run down. Yes, you can see the ocean if the public don't park next to it in front of your RV. We will never park there again read more
