Chicken fried chicken with macaroni and mashed potatoes and gravy it was very unseasoned and the service was not good

first off the service was not good the food was unseasoned and not very good for the price i rated the food and the experience a 3/10 the place was cute the decoration's were cute and the outside dining area was nice but besides the view and the scenery it was not good .

beautiful

Loved LOVE!!! Loved the service, our boudin balls were amazing as well as the fried cheese curds! The shrimp boil could definitely use more seasoning, other than that it was a beautiful experience and will be visiting again!

Gulf oysters are definitely different than the Pacific or Atlantic lol

Loved it!! Did a lot of research before I moved to Texas and this was on my list of must sees! So much quieter than the beaches I come from but nonetheless it was awesome! The service was good and I loved the food, drinks especially! We got oysters, the Unda the Sea fishbowl which could be pricey, and the fried catfish was incredible. I'll be back

Ordered drinks and dinner. We ordered the blackened catfish and the Steak and Shrimp combo. Catfish came out incorrectly prepared the first time, but was sent back and corrected. The staff was friendly and the owners beautiful dog was guarding the bar area. This is a beach bar surrounded by a camp ground and sand. It was cold the night we were here so I wasn't able to get any scenic views. Asked the bartender for some originality of a signature shot, only to be shot down. Owner was very observant that I didn't finish my steak and offered to fix any issues. While it wasn't the best steak I have had, there were no problems, just a leftover treat for our dogs at home.

Wonderful atmosphere and service - right on the beach

Wonderful atmosphere and service Right on the beach. Will not disappoint! Family owned.

Blackened shrimp pasta

Please do not waste your money. I cannot write a low enough review. SEVENTY TWO DOLLARS for two plates and an appetizer (and it was much worse than convenient store quality). We had boudin balls, chicken tenders and pasta. We waited over an hour for our food. Pretty sure our waitress forgot to put our order in. My toddler was having a fit waiting that long. Our waitress was usually no where to be found. It took her 20 minutes to bring me a drink. There are no free refills. Not even water. The boudin balls were, eh. The pasta was pathetic. Tiny portions with sauce that was just gross, and had no seasoning. And the burnt chicken tenders were very dry. The macaroni was soggy and lacked any flavor. The fries were even gross. And to top it off, even the ketchup is gross. Disappointed is the understatement of the year. The place looked cute, we thought the food would be good I do not recommend anything here. These pictures give this food far too much credit!

We had a very positive experience here on the 4th of July. It was not busy at all, our waitress was very attentive. The view was so nice! The stuffed jalapeños were incredible. Thin breading, delicious filling. We split the spicy burger, and that was great as well. Good mix of flavors and not ~too~ spicy. They do tell you, and list on the menu, that tap water is not available to serve. They have bottled & canned water for purchase. We didn't have any issues with this!

Yes, I was just there today and saw many customers with their dogs. There was even a man with a monkey sitting at the bar. Great place by the way.

Seems like a neat place, we must have just come at the wrong time of year. Sunny outside, but air…read morewas chilly and a bit windy. Our greeting when we came in was not the most friendly, woman behind the bar didn't even smile and mumbled something that I assume was our greeting. Our server, though nice, seemed very new and inexperienced. But she seemed to be nervously trying to do a good jobl My drink order never was what I ordered. I think there was confusion with the server and woman behind the bar. Our server didn't seem old enough to serve it to me, it was broght over by bar tender. It was pricey for not ever really getting what I requested. The day we were there, they had one of the garage doors open and the front door as well. It was so cold in there, we almost left to go elsewhere as I suspected the food would be cold before it got to the table to be eaten. After our 2nd request, they finally closed the one garage door,, but was still a bit chilly. Then they told us they just put the heater on. (the heater helped but have entry door open to bring food in from food trailer) We didn't realize the food was made in an outside trailer and walked inside. I got the crawfish tail ? Ettofee baked potato ? Ettofee sp?. Although The potato was well baked, and the sauce was Very good, there was only 4 or 5 very small crawfish tails on it. I ended up taking it home with me as it just wouldn't stay warm enough for me to eat more of it. I wish they would of had some type of thermal box, or cover to bring the food in from the outside trailer to the table... My husband had a mushroom swiss burger which was good, and some really delicious flat shaped fries, but again, keeping our food warm enough to eat it was not the best situation. There were some really good looking things on the menu, but it was just too cold in there that day. During nice weather, I'm sure our experience would have been much better, as it seems like a really nice place with a very nice patio with great view.

Their patio and views were amazing and so relaxing. The cutest restaurant indoor/outdoor. We also had our dog which they accommodated with some water. She also made friends with the sweet manager Erin (i think! Hopefully we got it right). Food was good and vibes were better. Will definitely be stopping by next time we are going to or coming from Galveston.

Don't let the grungy exterior put you off; this place is fried seafood heaven. They also have…read morecrawfish and seafood boil buckets, but I wanted my fried fish and shrimp--and it was some of the best I've had. The interior is neater and cleaner than you might expect from the outside, which is a good sign. There are two sections, one near the bar and a bigger restaurant section. Flatscreen TVs play silent sports events, while a high tech jukebox thing was playing "today's country," which seems to be heavy on songs about women who break poor Cowboy's hearts. I like places like this where the servers don't get all silly, introducing themselves and announcing that they are going to Take Care of you. At La Sirenita, they just do. My fried fish and shrimp platter was wonderful. The portion sizes were generous, especially for the price, and everything was hot and tasted absolutely fresh. The batter on the fish and the shrimp was perfect. It wasn't heavy-handed, but it had a nice little bite to it. The fries were also very good, as was the coleslaw. I am not a big fan of hush puppies. They generally strike me as some kind of afterthought that nobody paid any attention to, and I often leave them on my plate. But these were unusually good, crispy on the outside and moist and buttery on the inside. I ate both of mine. In fact, I ate everything. It was all wonderful. Down on the coast, in fact, almost anywhere, a big, super fresh combination seafood platter like this is hard to find at a price like this. Even with a small surcharge if you pay with credit card rather than cash, it's still a great deal and highly recommended.
