After I change into my new suit and put my items in my new purse (that I also purchased), I noticed the tag was still on the purse so I went to get it cut off. I then got accused of stealing the bag because the sensor was still on... how was I supposed to know that?! I then got a half-assed apology from the employee who FORGOT to take the sensor off. This small interaction really rubbed me the wrong way. Thanks for the cute swimsuit but that's about it!

I found in their store bikini bins in the back that were labeled $15. I rummaged around them and…read morefound cute top with some bottoms that kinda matched. When I went to go buy them the older lady in the store rung me up and told me I owed $79. I questioned her saying that I found both in the $15 bin, and she told me I was wrong and they were in the 30% off section. My boyfriend chimed in at this point and made a remark about that being false advertising, and the lady said, "no it's not." At this point I just told her I no longer wanted it and we left. However reflecting on this I know she was probably trying to scam me as even with a 30% off discount the top and bottom would not have been $79. Honestly don't shop here, it's overpriced and a waste of your time.

It had the two things we needed so it served our needs when other stores were closed but we wouldn't rush back.

I occasionally give up on TJ Maxx, and their clothing selection lately has been kind of lackluster…read more I did manage to find a great pair of fleece lined leggings earlier in the season, but I haven't really come up with any seasonal clothes there lately. I did get a lot more practical and have been finding some wonderful cosmetics fines in the new expanded cosmetics department. Their housewares department is also expanded for Christmas with lots of trendy, new appliances and gift worthy kitchen goods. We were also able to snag a toy model of a Tesla truck. This was a real find since most of the other discount stores don't have many children's toys and toys have gone up in price this year. It's going to be a fun holiday season and going to TJ Maxx and getting good deals. Just makes it all the more fun.

The bike he wanted was not assembled completely or properly. The original sales person said he wanted another associate, Donovan, to check the bike and make any necessary adjustments. However Donovan remained pleasant and informative and did not criticize the other staff member. He checked every feature on the bike and fixed any deficiencies. We appreciated his knowledge and professionalism.

I ordered a Tecnifibre TFight 285 racquet in a 4 1/4" (#2) grip for $249. After playing with it…read morejust once, I realized the grip was simply too small for me. I contacted customer service hoping to exchange it for the exact same racquet in the correct grip size. I was told that I would first have to send the racquet back, they would inspect it, and then reimburse me only a percentage of the purchase price. The representative told me that this is usually around 65%. I have to say, I'm disappointed by that policy. Getting the correct grip size is absolutely fundamental when buying a tennis racquet, and this wasn't a case of wanting a different model or simply changing my mind. I wanted the same racquet, just with the right grip size, after using it only once. For a $249 purchase, I really wish there had been a little more commercial flexibility and a more customer-friendly approach. Amazon has obviously set a very high benchmark when it comes to exchanges and returns, and experiences like this inevitably make customers compare. Other than this issue, I have no complaints. I like the racquet and simply wanted to exchange it for the size that actually works for me. I hope the company might reconsider how it handles situations like this.
