"Location was great, kitchen well equipped, with even tea kettle present. I noted that a lot of bowls were chipped and no cutting board I could find . I liked door entry with touch pad lock, never had to struggle with a key or be afraid to forget it somewhere. Condo was spacious in general but the third bedroom is really small for two beds. I would suggest to replace pull out bed with a bunk bed or something as after pulled out bed was set we couldn't close the door there and there was no space left in the room at all. There was just one crooked table lamp in that room. It was fine with us as our boys went there mostly to sleep but could be a problem for other people. We liked mattresses and pillows , towels were of average quality, on a smaller side. As we never stayed at penthouse level we had problems to get there as we didn't know what floor it suppose to be and didn't catch that PH button in elevator at first. It would be nice to mention it in condo description. Also waiting for the elevator going up and down could be a drag during a day since it's not really practical to walk 20 floors with kids, even down. It's quite common problem for these big buildings though. Overall our experience was pretty good, beach was great, water was cool and clear of jellyfish. Unfortunately we got harricain Barry after first two days so no more going in the water for the rest of our vacation and with strong winds even a pool was a bit of challenge sometimes. I tried going to sauna too. It looked good but never really warmed up well, even after 40 min of waiting (and I kept door closed all the time I was in). Good amount of space for the property size. Fair deal price wise. Does have a small beach view from balcony so you can see what Is going on out there before going out. Has direct access to beach from building. Outdoor showers. Sand dunes for photos. Has security that walks property. Carts to bring items in/out from cars. Under building parking and large parking lot out front. Indoor/outdoor pool which is good to get relief from beach sun but still giving you access to water. 2 good size bathrooms which is perfect when bringing kids. The condo could have been cleaner then it was when we arrived. They do have a sign that you can let them know ASAP to get the service back out to clean but should not have to do that when they know ppl are arriving. (Have someone check property after cleaning service leaves) dishes were put away dirty still etc.. nothing that we couldn't take care of ourselves. Vertical Blinds from slider are broke and missing pieces leaving big gaps that the houses across can see in at night. So limits the privacy at this time. Outlets are coming out of walls so have to be careful when plugging/unplugging things. Could not find a broom to sweep floors only a vacuum that didn't pick up very well. This property is close to shops and restaurants. Within close distance to Gulf Shores and the pier. Perfect for small Group or family to enjoy some fun in the sun! read more

We booked Pelican Bay for five weeks and wish we could have stayed longer. The views were breathtaking and the distance to the public beach access very manageable (less than five minutes). We had friends drop by periodically for a few days or a week and always had plenty of room. Everyone only had compliments. You are always going to run into minor issues or inconveniences, particularly if you are staying somewhere for five weeks, but each time we called either Beachball or Michelle (oversees the property) our issues were handled quickly and efficiently. Michelle became our friend and advisor on places to visit; biking trails; fishing spots; etc. This is a great home if you are looking for an expansive property, two guest houses, private pool and screened porch overlooking the bay (we had eight often and never felt cramped) with great views; easy beach access and escape from the college crowd. One thing to keep in mind - you can miss the turn off to the house if you aren't familiar with the area. Some GPS' will instruct you to turn at 2nd Street off Highway 180 which makes sense given the house is on 2nd Street. It doesn't run straight through and you can't access it from there. Look for the Fort Morgan Trailer Park sign instead. Yep, you have to go through the trailer park entrance, but it is worth it. Never had any issues with the RV neighbors. read more

The Clubhouse at Fort Morgan was a very cute, nicely decorated, clean rental with plenty of space for 2 families with 11 people total! The views were incredible, 4 of the 5 bedrooms had balconies. The walk to the beach was very short, and it was nice not being right on the beach as to have a little more privacy and be away from the crowds on the beach. There were a few things that were in need of repair that did not affect our stay, and when the drier wasn't working, we called and later that day it was fixed and ready for use when we returned from the beach!!! The only thing I can complain about was the lack of items such as toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent - they give you a starter of each, but not enough for the stay, which is what we are usually used to with rentals...but no big deal. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay there again - loved the house and the area!!! (Did not want the big crowds of being in the heart of Gulf Shores.) read more

We stayed in unit 4207 at Seaside Beach and Racquet. Can't say enough about the perfect location...down a flight of stairs and standing on the beach. Great view from the balcony, too. My father-in-law had a hard time walking in the sand but was able to enjoy himself just as much watching us from the balcony. Management was easy to communicate with and helpful with answering questions. Four stars this time due to LOUD, heavy construction right outside of our front door/bedroom window due to storms, and started at 7:15 am! Management definitely should have given us a heads up. Also, the general cleaning was not great...found a leftover dirty washcloth hanging in the shower, unclean drawers, and floors were not swept well at all. With that said, the condo overall was cute, had everything we needed, and easily slept 8. Would stay there again because of the perfect scenery and location. read more

The owners, Ginger and Hunter, have deep roots in the Orange Beach and Gulf Shores area and have a solid business and legal background to effectively and efficiently manage properties in this area. Their staff are professional and provide accurate and timely reports and communication. Our booked rentals always surpass the area averages, and their marketing has proven to be effective. They have done a great job managing our property and are obviously treating their staff well as there has been very minimal turnover since we've been with them. I found Beachball Properties staff very responsive to my questions and needs. I loved the location right on Orange Beach - a spectacular view of the gulf and we saw more than 30 dolphins one morning- a delight for my grandchildren. Our unit slept 10 and would have been very cramped if we were all there at the same time for the full week, We only had two days with 9 people and were out and about most of that time. I also appreciated the connection with the Gulf Shore rentals for beach chairs, umbrella, table and cooler - so much cheaper than what is available and set up for guests. Lugging them back and forth to the beach was well worth the savings and gave my grandsons a way to make a few bucks! read more

I want to share my families experience even though we never stayed there. We were scheduled to rent a house the week of Thanksgiving, however 2 weeks before the stay we received the news that my mom's breast cancer was back and she would have to start treatment. We contacted the owner and company to let them know. We knew the cancellation policy and wasn't expecting our money back. However, the owner was so great. They refunded our money and the beach ball company sent my mom a really nice card. They didn't have to be so accommodating but they were really great during such a difficult time for us. We will definitely book with them when we can travel read more

On the third day of our stay, the AC went out in the house we rented. I called beachball properties at 4:00pm and by 6:00pm a technician from the AirDr. was at the house fixing the AC. and I was thoroughly impressed by service from Beachball properties and how pleasant Ryan from the AirDr. was. I certainly wouldn't get that kind of quick service if my AC went out in my home town!. Aside from that, the house was very nice, clean, well maintained and stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. There were no surprises. I will absolutely use Beachball properties again the next time we come to Gulf Shores, AL. read more

UPDATE TO PREVIOUS REVIEW... Since posting our review on August 27, 2025, Beachball properties reached out to us wanting to give us a refund for one night. They asked us to sign a refund release agreement stating that we would not write any negative reviews on them or the owner or the contractors. That ship sailed prior to receiving their phone call about a refund. They will not release a refund unless I take down my review and send them a picture of doing so. Guess what......?!?!?!? Everything about our stay was great! The condo was very clean and well stocked.. mgmt responded quickly when messages. The only negative I would say is about the elevators.. there's only 2 and they are very slow and very dirty. Unloading our luggage on our arrival day took over 2 hours because we needed to make 2 trips with the cart and we had to wait very long to fit in the elevator. I think the property needs to stagger the check in times better. We loved it he condo and view but the elevators would make me second guess booking at SeaWind again. read more

We had such an amazing time staying at a Beachball property in Gulf Shores. The two bedroom one bath cottage was spotless and a perfect location. All the furniture and decor was gorgeous, modern and updated. Gave us ideas for our own home! Management was easy to contact by phone or text if needed. Keyless entry system made it easy to check in and out. There was even a nice welcome gift on the table when we checked in! We stayed at the Fontainebleau in PCB last July (2017). The Fontaineblue is a very interesting property and has awesome potential. I was aware of this before making the reservation. The location was awesome and loved that it was right on the beach. Our room was average but most importantly in our price range. I had no issues with reserving the room. When we arrived, they were working on the bathroom sink because it was leaking, so our room wasn't ready, but they fixed it pretty quick and did cause us any issues. read more

My friends and I lease a condo from Beachball Properties in November of last year and were very pleased with the service. We did not check in until late and Beachball checked on us prior to our arrival to make sure we were having a safe trip. I was impressed by that! We enjoyed our stay on the beach. It rained every day but that's not their fault. The office manager is the best. I watched her stay calm and collected while a very rude couple couple complained, clearly not knowing the difference between renting a condo and staying in a resort where someone comes by to tuck you in after they wipe your butt! Our start on the other hand was excellent. Beautifully furnished apartment/condo. Soft sand, great food and a great indoor pool for the kids when the it's raining. read more

Great location as it is near the traffic signal to cross the road and be at the beach. Teens could head to the beach without Mom and Dad who could relax at the pool and not be covered in sand. Parking was close for easy unloading and loading. Easy side road access to get to a traffic signal to head north. The condo itself was clean and very nice. Pet friendly but no evidence of previous pets when we arrived. Be sure to bring extra bath towels if you don't want to do laundry during the week. read more

Hi, this is the first time I have used Beachball Properties. Our rental unit time frame is Feb. 2018 so this review concerns the pre rental side of the business. All the questions I had were answered swiftly and my partial payments were credited. I do wish that the managers would send out automatic monthly statements for renters that choose to reserve units several months in advance and would show payments and balances. My family and I visited A Westside Paradise and it was wonderful. There were 14 of us and we had plenty of space. This location is close to the beach, canal, grocery stores and shopping. There were plenty of activities to do at the house besides the relaxing pool. This property had everything we needed, chairs, wagons, games, grill, you name it. And to top it off the property was brand new, with nice furniture and all the cooking utensils my family and I needed. I can't wait to return! read more
