We just got back from staying in a house managed by Dauphin Island Beach rentals. We had…read morespecifically booked this house (which was bigger than we needed) because it had a screened-in porch. When we got to the house, we found it did not. Apparently the owners did some updates and it no longer had one. This was extremely disappointing! I think I may have even reached out to them before I booked it to make sure that what I was seeing in the pictures was a screened-in porch. If the owners did not tell them about the updates then I suppose it's not really their fault, but I hope in the future they make it clear to the owners that they need to be notified of any updates. I believe they took the pictures of the porch down that very day. I asked the person who was working in the office that day if she would reach out to the owner to see if they could compensate us at all for this. She said she would but then I never heard back from her. They also updated the thermostats and no-one knew how to work them, not even the service guy they sent. My husband had to figure it out. Both the office person and the service guy were very nice people. The house was fine otherwise. I guess this is just a warning that if you booked a house through them and think it has a screened-in porch, you might want to double check.

First night there a rat came through a hole behind the stove and ate a hole in the bread bag we had on counter. Called ACP and no one answered the phone. It was MLK day so no one in office. My husband ended up closing hole himself. Next night the rat chewed a hole through the wall and was back inside home. We requested new location to rent. It took five hours to find new location. The only way they would communicate was through text no phone calls. At one point they wanted us to sneak our dog into a no pet condo! Worst customer service we have ever dealt with. Do not use ACP!

We were in what the website describes as property 073, coastal cottage. As cottage properties go, this was just right for us, better than the resort high rise. The island bikepath, parallel to Bienville Blvd, ran right alongside the cottage. This was perfect, since I'd loaded the SUV with bike rack and bikes for this trip. The staff members in the office were friendly and efficient, even watching for us as we arrived, excellent service. The property was clean, and everything worked as it should. If you ask me why I wouldn't give five stars to this spot, it's the fact that the taxes and fees are the highest of any property we will stay in this summer. I expect to pay a fair rent, and understand the costs that come with vacation destinations. Still, in our case, taxes and fees equaling just a little over one-third the total paid seemed high.

They were kind enough to leave the key at the rental since we were arriving after midnight, however, they neglected to tell us the rental's address. Fortunately, my wife was able to locate it on her phone. Additionally, they had WiFi, but since they forgot to leave the check-in sheet in our rental we did not know about it until we checked out.

When I called to find out why they kept our $300 deposit, they became argumentative, hostile and verbally abusive on the phone. At one point, before she hung up on me, one of the ladies started shouting "you're a liar oh yeah now I know you're a liar! " when I told her there were so few wash clothes we had to purchase some inexpensive washcloths at Walmart to use while staying there. I have many many concerns about their billing practices as well. We were charged $50 for "excessive trash" (which was bagged, sealed and placed in a garbage can)!! We had 10 people staying in that house so I think trash is expected and unavoidable.!? I would be very cautious about renting from them not only for questionable billing practices but of greater concern is the horrible and unprofessional treatment to which we were subjected (even in communication before our vacation started). We, most certainly, will never use them again. CF

This place has 2 advertised heated pools (the outdoor one was not heated), a sauna, a steam room, whirlpool and workout room. The beach is easily accessed with a walk down a long boardwalk. The beach is viewed easily but can not really be heard from the condo. The set up of the room is spot on! Has everything that you would need. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again.

These are lovely condos compared to everything else. There's never anyone in the hall. The person that said it was crowded. It's so not crowded. Several people actually live here. There's always parking. There is an elevator for handicap and elevator to take you to your room if you don't wanna climb stairs, the boardwalk is very safe and nice. I love the big decks. That's why I always stay here. The balconies are fantastic for drinking coffee playing cards on the table and chairs. There's always a sitting area on a table and chair area And in the corner there's a sitting area around the corner for the price. They are fantastic. The one we just stayed in 70 one had new furniture a person with us needed a recliner. Everything reclined and I love it was brand new. The kitchen is laid out so well I love the Jacuzzi tub that cleans itself after every bath and they're like that in every room Every condo you won't find a better place to say across the street is the pizza place the wonderful wine bar with French wine across the street down the road is the islander and I mean barely down the road. This is a beautiful, quaint and serene place to spend a weekend or weeks! We recently spent a…read moreweekend there and was impressed from the moment we drove up until we left. The grounds are beautifully manicured, cozy and intimate. It's Perfect for a late nightcap around the fire pit or just enjoying the ambiance. We stayed in the Lotus suite which had a beautiful view of the bay and was clean, airy with the perfect decor. I must mention the owners Dana and Jim. They were both very personable, friendly and seemed to take a genuine interest in all of the guests. We had breakfast outside in May, the weather was great and the food was delicious. Fairhope is almost like a hidden gem of Alabama. It's a lovely small town and if you are just passing through or planning a trip I highly recommend staying at the Jubilee Suites!
