Took a beer and liquor tour for my bachelorette weekend and came across with hidden gem! We started with a straight liquor (small shots but hard regardless!) The descriptions were helpful and I likes that they gave us a private table for our experience. Next we toured were the good stuff is made and we're given full (yummy) cocktails. $5 for a sample of all spirits. Very reasonably priced bottles. Owner is incredibly nice and laid back. This would be a nice spot to chill and have a drink, we just found it while heading to the Nassau winery so we just tried the spirits. The only thing I didn't like was the bartender didn't rinse the glass e between spirits, for mossy of the spirits it wouldn't matter but some of the flavored ones can leave a taste behind. What excellent customer service at this small local alcohol distillery. The sample of all of Beach Time Distillery products was nice!! After the samples, get some of their mixed drinks. They are only $7 each!! The 750ml bottles are pretty reasonably priced from $22 to $40. Unfortunately, this is pretty small venue (maybe a 15-20 person capacity?) and they do not serve food. They do accept credit cards. They have a small gift shop if you want shirts, hats, stemless wine glasses, or shot glasses. Cute little place, I would definitely recommend you try this place out! read more

It's a cool place, for sure, and the liquors are awesome. For $10 you can do a flight of all 12 things they have - WORTH IT!! If you're a gin drinker, you won't be disappointed; they have 4 gins to try, and they are all great (but the Aronia is my favorite). The Beach Gold rum is like if rum and really good bourbon had a baby (I even had an old fashioned made with it - perfection! I finally found someone who can make a perfect old fashioned!!), and the Beach Java rum is powerful and makes a great Black or white Russian. the atmosphere is nice (yes, it's small, it makes it homey!), and the staff was wonderful. They are dog friendly, which was a huge plus. Worth a stop for sure. read more

We got charged a hidden fee of $4.00 for a canned cocktail. It's called a "corkage fee". How is it a "corkage fee" if we bought the drink at the distillery? Bait and switch advertising. Called the distillery last minute to see if there were any openings for the tour and Greg let us join right in. He went through his entire distilling process and we got to peak into the barrels. More informative than any tour that I've gone on so far. I loved just chatting and asking questions. Greg made sure that we all were able to see each process while being socially distanced. Very cool guy and we ended up leaving with some rum! read more

I originally tried a bottle of the Beach Gold Rum from a small local Lewes liquor store. It is my new favorite! Challenged to find it again I did a web search and found out this rum was made at a local distillery! I went to see for myself the very next day and found it is located right next to one of my favorite bakeries on the Lewes Georgetown section of the bike trail, just east of Rt 1! The owner was so full of information and I was amazed at the history behind their brand. The room is cool with a bar, some tables and chairs, and the distilling room in view of visitors. The room probably seats approximately 20 people? Really cool rum choices (also other spirits) and the drink menu explains all the flavor profiles in each product. Love the fact that no food coloring is added to achieve the gold edge to Beach Gold selection. One additional thing I should mention is that there are "To Go" canned cocktails in the fridge right by the front door so don't miss this on your way to the beach or party! There is also a cool area of "Beach Time" swag (think can koozies, T Shirts, etc) you can buy for those times you imbibe at the beach! So great to have breweries, wineries and an amazing Rum distillery so close to home in Delaware. It seems Rum is beginning a new era, much like beer or tequila, with a widening appreciation for the craft and quality products. I for one will happily continue to stock my home bar with Beach Gold, as well as other Beach Time spirits! *enjoy responsibly* read more

Service a little slow to acknowledge you but once you seem interested, host begins speaking. Not a big fan of the spirits, but that's my palate. Wish they had adhered to their scheduled hours. We showed up 2 hours post their listed opening hour, also posted on the door and yet, they weren't. Actually had a sign on the door saying they went to lunch and we were past that hour by 45 mins. We came here with a Groupon which we paid 20.00 for. It was for 2 samplers and a bottle of booze. The tasting part was fun. They give you a small taste of each type of booze they offer and put it next to the description on the menu. My favorite was the spiced rum and also the gin. I ordered the BT Rum Punch after which might be one of the best rum punches ever. It's very cute inside and the owner was very friendly. Glad we finally checked it out! read more

Honestly, im generally indifferent towards gin, but this product was just so interesting: in addition to juniper berries, contains lavender and lemongrass--an awesome combination. the tasting room made us feel like we were right on the beach.
