Seems like this was a diner @ one time but very tastefully renovated.. My wife and I were warmly greeted at the door and we were quickly seated in a nice corner table. It was a sign of good things to come. We were promptly and warmly greeted by our waiter Austin. Being this was our first time there, we took our our time ordering drinks, appetizers and entrees. We never felt rushed during our entire time there. Our frozen margaritas were quite good. Bonus points for the beautiful glasses. Mine was too much on the sweet side so they allowed me to swap it out for a really good Baccardi and coke in a very nice sized glass. I was quite pleased as was my wife. Ordered appetizers and entrees. Presentation was definitely high end and everything was freshly made and red hot. Kudos to the chef. Austin is the epitome of what customer service should be. Attentive. Courteous pleasant and very professional. He had to leave before we ordered desert and Maria, (our replacement server) did not skip a beat at all. Well done! They have a sizeable outdoor patio, tastefully decorated just as like indoors. Everything was so clean and the whole staff were outstanding. If your within driving distance of Toms River, you should make it a point to come visit. Also, the prices are quite reasonable and the servings are large. Pro tip, happy hour is Monday thru Thursday 2 til 5:30 pm with $5 Margaritas $4 Draft Modello and half price appetizers. You cant beat that with a stick. Needless to say, we will definitely be back. Beach Taco's was highly recommended to me so I decided to place a to go order for the hubs and I. I have been on the hunt for really good fajita's. The hubs isn't picky and likes just about anything but when it comes to my fajita's, I have high standards. I was so excited to try the fajita's from Beach Taco's, I couldn't wait to get it home. I thought it was odd that it didn't have much of an odor when we were driving home but I just chalked it up to be well packaged for travel. As soon as I opened the box and saw the chicken, I knew this would not be a pleasant experience. The chicken was dry. Overcooked and extremely dry. Like it was cooked in advance. It wasn't as dry when I mixed it in with the onions and peppers but it was still dry. It also had very little flavor. Not what I would expect for fajita's to taste like. I was expecting an exceptional fajita. Unfortunately, I received fajita's that were sub-par at best. I've had better fajita's from little hole in the wall take out joints. I also ordered the Mexico city style corn. It was ice cold. As if it was an afterthought and put into the bag hoping our food boxes would heat it up. Needless to say, we won't be returning to Beach Taco's. I had high expectations, especially given the price. The hubs enjoyed his burrito so I guess all is not lost. I'm still on the lookout for a good fajita. Guess I'll continue looking elsewhere. read more

Came here for lunch. Party of 6. They only gave us 1 basket of stale chips and one small bowl of salsa with no plates which was kind of weird. Food came out quickly, before our drinks came out. First time visit. It is a popular place, decent decor for a converted diner, the entrance area kept the diner counter and booths with a smaller dining room off to the right of the entrance. The dining room tables are a little tight and the chairs have arm rests which make getting into and out of the tight tables annoying. It is a loud dining room with music and other customers but you are able to talk with your table without difficulty. The cocktails were average. The food is tasty, but I do not think it is great value. Table had tacos, enchiladas and a salad. The chips are good, the guacamole was good, just felt that I have had better at other local places. Service was fine. Waitress was friendly, food arrived quickly. You will probably have a good lunch or dinner but this is not the place I will make plans to go back to. read more

Wow! All the food was incredibly fresh and drinks were also freshly made and not premade margarita mix. Highly recommend the Mexican kiss appetizer. Server and staff were super friendly. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, the decor is so fun the kids enjoyed taking photos in the phone booth. Highly recommend!!! Found the prices to be very fair and they offer happy hour. Walking distance to my house! Delicious Margaritas ! Huge portions ! Delicious food ! My buddy and I walked over to Beach Tacos for our maiden voyage. We both had traditional Margaritas along w some ABSOLUTELY home made chips and salsa. I ordered the shrimp fajitas as and entree. Despite it being a mobbed Saturday evening the food came out quick. A huge portion with 5 big shrimp. Black beans, rice, quac, peppers and onions and flour tortillas. OMG the flavors were insane. Tasty and spicy. My buddy had a skirt steak burrito which he really enjoyed. I brought my wife home skirt steak nachos and roasted corn soup which she said was fantastic. I'm so happy BT opened down the road from our home. Looking fwd to warmer months and being able to walk over to have a few drinks and some solid grub outside. we arrived at 524pm and asked if we made Happy Hour. The owner sorta looked down his nose and then his watch and said 5 minutes. We were seated at a table and the owner instead of sending a waitress over proceeded to talk to them for 2-3 minutes. Another waitress came over and asked if we wanted a drink and we replied yes so that went in and then our waitress came over and we asked about 1/2 price starters and she said you have 1 minute... We hurriedly order nachos . The food is good little spicy but good. Just had lunch beach tacos on Fisher Boulevard , Absolutely delicious. We had Mexican kisses which is jalapeños with rock, shrimp, cheese, and bacon. Hubby had empanadas which he loved. My street tacos was blackened catfish with mango salsa. had tequila on the rocks with the lime scrumptious. we ate at the bar. People were friendly. I have been here twice. The first time the other person had the fajita with skirt steak and loved it. I had the tuna tostada and while flavor was good, the small tortillas were not very crisp. The second time, the other person had the steak dinner with yucca fries and it was excellent. I had the veggie enchiladas with were lukewarm, on the soggy side, and did not have many vegetables. The decor is really cute inside and service was fine (ate at the bar both times). Giving three stars as two meals were great and two not so great. read more

Tuesday night inside not bu but outside nice crow opted to stay insid. seated right away sat for 15 or so minutes and not a person came to our table for water or cocktail. looking forward I noticed 3 waitress standing in front of the computer about 5 feet fr me talkin. 5 minutes later one of the waitress came to our table with sals and chips and asked if we wa something to drink.we proceeded to order an appetizer and 2 cocktail. when they came we ordered entree. my order was for vegetabl empa and they came out chiccen instead. sent them back and when I got the vegetabl the 3 pieces had about maybe a half of a handful of vegetables mostly squash nothing like the menu advertised. service sucks food is way overpriced and not that good for your money. read more

Just tried Beach Tacos tonight... And I have to say it was well worth the wait! From the spicy salsa and the warm, crisp chips to the delicious shrimp enchilada dinner followed by a tasty flan for dessert... Everything was amazing! The food was so fresh and flavorful! Was surprised to find out they have a full bar that has speciality drinks, which is a plus. The dining room has a nice vibe and atmosphere, and the service was very good.! Staff were attentive and friendly! Looking forward to coming here again and trying out the deck seating when the weather is nicer.
