Wow, I need to come here for some last-minute ice and a lot of of it…read moreI've never been here before and I'm not much of a shopper even though I have one in my neighborhood I started to circle the business assuming they'd be a garage or something. A car pulled out away from the curb so I snagged that spot. I entered was looking for a cart asked a couple people and apparently the carts are down in the garage so yes, there's a garage underneath just in case you needed to know and now I know for future. I managed to find a cart. Loaded up with ice went to self check out, which is very simple. They had a handheld device to scan my bag of ice times 15. I was on my way Glad there's a Ralph's nearby that made this excursion. Very simple.

It's like entering into a time zone only different is there is no Back Door for me to enter. Would that being said, no matter how much you smile and be polite these employees from the time you walk in the door and the first person you see which is security And throughout the whole store, until you get to checkout i'm either followed through the store. Givin dirty looks and just straight out Rudeness if I go to ask a question about a product are any assistants of where I can locate a product and I refuse to come out of character and lower myself to their level. I try to avoid this store as much as possible. Which means I have to go out my way on public transportation i mean, seriously, this is not the backwoods of alabama and one of those other seriously racist states. This is supposed to be beautiful San Diego California it doesn't make sense how people can be so evil and nasty towards a person They've never encountered before, and I'm pretty sure when they were hired, they didn't inform H. R that they were going to treat certain customers in a nasty and vile way And it's awful how management condones this behavior Because the employees are very comfortable in their actions It is not okay to make someone feel uncomfortable or unaccepted. In an establishment that you don't own it's also ashame that the machine where I put in my phone number and pin Number tells me thank you for being a value customer across the screen i've never heard that from an employee since my shopping experience at the store. my whole career was in customer service and it would bothered me if I knew that I didn't put my all into making a customer feel satisfied. Or at least appreciated.love thy neighbor is a commandment not a suggestion Do better Ralph's replacing people with robots is starting to sound like a good idea.

We were visiting the Liberty Station for the day of fun! We decided to grab a few quick eats and…read moresnacks before heading back. This particular Trader Joe's is located in the Liberty Station area and is beautiful! It's off the main street before entering deep into the hustle of shopping and eateries. We quickly checked it out and found our favorites! This trip, we bought some dips, chips, quick frozen meals, coconut water, smoked Gouda cheese and crackers, ice coffee concentrate, heavy whipping cream, and apples. They have their own parking lot. It seemed extremely busy and crowded. The employees were very friendly and helpful as always. They had samples out that day. I always loved sampling the newest thing. They had packages of the cooked bacon bits. They offered on top of a salad. It was very tasty!

Disappointing and Blame-Shifting Service at Checkout…read more I had a very upsetting customer service experience at the Point Loma location. While waiting at the register, the previous customer finished paying but stayed in the lane taking extra time to organize his money, completely blocking space while my items were already scanned and piling up. I didn't make a scene, yell, or say a word, I simply quietly shook my head in slight frustration while waiting. Instead of managing the lane or maintaining a neutral stance, both the cashier and the bagger immediately turned their attention onto me. They made defensive, unsolicited, and dismissive remarks ("he's just a kid," "he's a paying customer"), effectively turning a minor delay into a situation where I was made to feel like the "bad guy" for simply standing there waiting to pay. As a paying customer, being publicly judged and belittled by store staff over a completely harmless, silent reaction was deeply unprofessional. I spoke directly with the store manager after the incident to report this behavior, but the staff's conduct was unacceptable for a store that usually prides itself on friendly service.

Considering all the other Ralphs supermarkets I know in San Diego this is a very small store. I…read morewouldn't say that the selection is stellar. Certain services got diminished during the course of the years, e.g. they no longer make sandwiches, the cold deli section used to be more exciting, and the hot food meat used have more than just chicken. Oh well, I guess those services didn't work out financially. Today I want to single out two services for commendation. 1: The sushi lady, I think her name is Dawt. Her products are yummy but what is unique about this lady is that she is happy to stop doing whatever she's doing and make me my favorite item, summer rolls, if it is not available. That is above and beyond what is expected from a supermarket worker so thank you very much. 2: The baker, whose name I unfortunately forgot. I am partial to bakery products that are similar to the ones made in Europe, soft on the inside and relatively light and crispy on the outside. When you bite into them, you hear and feel a very slight crunch, then your teeth effortlessly cut thru the crust. It is very different from the typical American bakery products that have a thick hide that you have to gnaw through like some rodent. Thank you and may you keep your job there for a long time!

He was incredibly professional, polite and definitely knew what he was doing (I love when people represent both the company and themselves such as this guy did. I think my complimentary words ushered him revealing the reason he "gets it"... he told me he'd been with the company since 1988. I guess every store has one of those people that is on their best game, some may have more... but I know I just met one of them. In my hometown of Downey we have two Ralph's, locations at one I got Sal, and at the other, I got Nicholas. They, like this gent, are firing on all cylinders. Keep up the great job Ralph's....as I found the store to be well stocked, and spotlessly clean. When I next go to Humphrey or do staycations nearby, I will be sure to return.

They do have options in store, but if you want a more customizable meal place it online and pick it up 2 days later. I ended up choosing their grass fed beef sirloin, citrus and herb shrimp and for my sides I chose the smoked mozzarella pasta salad and zesty couscous. When I came to pick it up, I went to the meat counter and wow was that employee rude. I was taken aback by his attitude, I just asked where I could pick up my family meal, that left a bad taste in my mouth. When I got to the correct counter, that employee was so sweet, she probably heard how he spoke to me and was making up for it but I have had some really meanish interactions at this Sprouts. For $30, I think we got a good deal, there was a good portion of food. I absolutely loved the sirloin and the smoked mozzarella pasta but I was too keen on the couscous. The shrimp too, I was on the fence with, they definitely give you a good portion and they're nice sized but not very happy with the seasoning, next time I'll opt for the black garlic and pepper shrimp instead. This is great for when you're meal prepping for the week because I honestly wouldn't worry on what to pack for lunch!

The store carries products from some of my favorite local vendors that I usually only find at the farmers market, along with a great selection of unique drinks and specialty items. One of the highlights was trying the banana water, which was marked as an employee favorite, and now I can see why. Truly taste like a banana, very interesting. The store was well organized, fully stocked, and easy to browse. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. While some items are a bit pricier than what you'd find at a traditional grocery store, the quality and clean ingredients make it well worth the cost. It's a great place to discover healthier options and support local brands at the same time. They also offer a membership for just $15 per year, which seems like a great value if you plan to shop there regularly. I'll definitely be stopping by again!

It was self serve sitting out for I don't know how long. I decided to buy it because it looked decent. She saw I was looking at her so she meandered around to look at me without asking me if she could help, and no hello either. She had a blank expression. I then asked if she could sell me a side of their sauce like Whole Foods does or actually they give a little container for free for the customers who love sauce for their pizza . She said no we can't give out our sauce to you with a rude expression and tone. I then proceeded to check out and got a cashier who also never greeted me. She range up my items and never said thank you. She turned around and started talking to her co-worker. Really? I think they can hire people who actually show appreciation by greeting their customers and saying thank you as they walk out the door. I was the one to say thank you and she didn't say a word . There needs to be much higher service demanded from the pizza area and cashier areas especially with the higher priced food items here. This does not pertain to all cashiers but some that pick and choose who they want to be nice to with respect to the customers passing through. Not a good experience today.
