The lady cut my dogs whiskers and anyone who knows anything about dogs knows that you aren't supposed to cut the whiskers because it's not only extremely painful for the dog, but that is also how they sense their surroundings. I wouldn't trust this business with your dogs because they obviously don't know how to properly take care of animals. read more

I've been struggling to find a groomer accepting new clients for months- I'm from Columbus, OH and visiting family in Satellite Beach when I came across Beach Dogs. To my surprise they got me in the next day! The staff was very friendly and took great care of my little boy, Frank (mini long haired dachshund). I dropped him off around 10AM and he was done by 12:30. It was Franks first time at the groomer and he was happy and tail wagging when I brought him home. He has also never been this fluffy or soft, and his nails/paws looked great! He won't let me clip his nails at home and is finicky about his feet, but the groomer Ava had no issues at all. Highly recommend, reasonably priced, and will definitely come here again next time I'm in town. read more

Second time here since the new owner took over the business. Experience has been great both times. Luke was the groomer today and my Riley looks the best he ever has (he's had grooming done in CT, TX, NY and now Beach Dogs). Great atmosphere, everyone super friendly. If I could leave zero stars, I would. I took my Bichon for a groom, and should have realized when the groomer asked me if I wanted her tail shaved like a poodle that it wouldn't be a good experience. My poor dog lost her groomer and hadn't been tended to in about 6 weeks, so she had some mats in her neck. But instead of addressing those mats, the groomer, who should NEVER be allowed to touch another Bichon, SHAVED all of her hair, including her head, muzzle, legs, paws, everywhere. They didn't even call me before taking such drastic action, and dared to charge me $50 for the disservice. Of course, we will never be returning. It has been 7 months now, and her hair has finally grown out enough for her to be groomed again. For 7 months, she looked like some kind of hunting dog instead of a Bichon. I can't stress enough how bad this experience was. read more

Be wary, very friendly staff when you meet them, at closed doors it's another story, groomer has arthritis and it's very grumpy towards the dogs, no patience whatsoever. read more

I only came in for a nail trim, they took me right away, staff very friendly, groomer did a wonderful job, they were very accommodating to my senior pets needs, and a great price. I will come back, and would recommend giving them a try. read more

I have been bringing my dog here for over a year and up until today have loved the experience. It has always been easy to make an appointment and they have always taken care of my dog. Today, while trying to set up an appointment there was a mix up between text and phone calls. I only tried to understand why the appointment that was offered to me via text was different than the appointment that was offered over the phone in such a short time period. I was told I "took too long to respond" but when I tried to understand the OWNER took the phone from the receptionist and yelled at me, belittled me, called me nasty and childish all before I could even let one word out. I understand this is a small business which is why I have always loved coming here but being a small business is not an excuse for poor customer service and being rude to your long term customers. Even after the phone call she continued to text me and call me names. No matter how good the services may be I refuse to give my money to a business who does not know how to treat their customers. read more

We took our King Charles Spaniel in for a bath. Nothing more. We picked up our dog and his feathers on his legs are gone, his foot hair has been shaved off, his feathers on his tail have been trimmed away. When I returned to the shop to tell the groomer that I was upset he stated "That's what groomers do". I said we only wanted a bath and the other worker in the shop stated that they told my husband that they were going to trim our dogs feet- which they did not according to my husband. My husband was told they would bathe our dog, trim his nails and do his anal gland. I was told that what we wanted should have been WRITTEN DOWN for them. I have never encountered anything like this when taking my dog for a bath. Now my dog will look ridiculous for six months to a year until his coat grows back. And when it grows back, chances are it will be coarser as is particular to the King Charles. Yes, they offered to give me back my twenty dollars. But twenty dollars won't return my dog to how he looked when we dropped him off- the standard for King Charles Spaniels. And, we took our dog to another groomer two weeks ago when our dog rolled in poop. They were able to give him a bath, trim his nails and return him to us as we wanted. No shaving his coat off. And without written instructions! So if you want your dog shaved, try this place. If you want them to do what you ask, better get the pen and paper out. Be aware!!!! read more
