Enjoyed our week in 16F Well maintained unit with views of beautiful Navarre Beach and also bay views from this corner unit Facility is very well maintained. They are very picky about not leaving stuff outside your doors or on the dec which is appreciated. Nice place to store bikes and chairs/rafts on ground level. Nice carts to help with load and unloading Our unit was well appointed with plenty of necessary kitchen supplies. Decor was beautiful beach theme. Very pretty. Carpet had seen better days but sure it gets abused. Great beach access. We only went to pool once. It does get afternoon shade Really enjoyed this convenient location read more

Do not use Beach Colony West! Very bad parking for oversized and handicapped vehicles. I parked our van in a loading zone spot, due to no spaces being available in both the handicapped and oversized vehicle spaces. We were told that we could park there by a night time security guard. Our vehicle was both oversized and had a handicap tag. In the morning, one of our other family members called me to tell me that the maintenance men were threatening to tow my vehicle and they had surrounded it with garbage dumpsters. When I went to move the vehicle, one maintenance man in particular was very rude about the situation, even though I tried to explain the dilemma and were told that we could park there. We then tried to explain the situation to the manager and complain about the maintenance man's attitude and got the impression that she was not too concerned about it. Also, at this time, there is a lot of construction going on at the East building. Construction vehicles are taking up oversized vehicle parking over there. I will not be back! We have stayed there about 3 times in the past, but, never again! Mainly due to the attitudes of the employees in the West building that we encountered! read more

Unit 2F stayed there week of 7/24/21-7/31/21 worst condo ever in 20+ years of going to beach. Absolutely would not let us check in one minute before 4 pm. Curtains pulled off of walls, patio door to balcony did not have handle and was very hard to open and close, patio furniture made of wicker was falling apart and held together by zip ties, multiple light fixtures has burnt out bulbs throughout the condo, in bedroom with 2 beds the headboard was not attached to bed frame , refrigerator was dirty, kitchen was not stocked with appropriate items, pots with missing lids, no cookie sheet, did not have complete set of glasses or dishes, one of the decorations on the wall was a cap from a water bottle (picture must have fallen and someone decided to put the cap on wall rather than pull nail out), a/c unit leaking in laundry room and had bucket collecting water, beds had sand in them, mold in tub and on patio. Chairs to dining room table had legs that were loose making it dangerous to sit in. Good thing the beds were comfortable. This unit needs an update and some TLC which would make the $3000 spent for the week worth it. We will not be renting from Vacasa again! There are other units in this building with much better accommodations that just weren't available. Unit 2F on in Beach Colony West is awful! read more

Groundskeeper takes over 48 hours to clean trash by pool 5. Feel like you overpaid. 6. Constant disgusting dirty finds in condo from neglect. 7. Update: I have subtracted a star from this place because the day of our departure, the owner of our condo was knocking on the door, ringing the doorbell, and constantly calling us. It was super annoying, and the worst part is that they once changed the code to the condo while we were on the beach! Omg is this place pretty! We have a huge balcony with a telescope over looking the ever-so beautiful Navarre ocean. Granite countertops in the kitchen is an A+! Three TV's that, well, work. The decor is so cute, like a beach-y theme. One thing though--not all of the rooms overlook the beach. Some of them overlook, well, the surrounding hallway. Well, I won't call it a hallway. It's more of a--I don't know how to describe it--it has an open roof and beach views. Like, a really fancy hallway with beach views. Well, I recommend this place. It's awesome and it will make your trip better. read more

I've got a friend who's family owns a condo here and these units are right on the beach so it makes them super convenient. The condo units are very nice and have great views of the Gulf. My friend's condo has a garage downstairs then a living room, kitchen and bedroom on the second level and then a master bedroom and another bedroom on the third level (with balconies on the 2nd and third levels). Navarre isn't my favorite beach town and the limited restaurant and bar options in the area leave a lot to be desired but just for the condo and the beach this is a great spot. Navarre is definitely a place where you need to bring your friends and fun with you as it seems to be majority old retirees and families with young children. If all you care about is a nice place next to the ocean with great beach access this is your spot but if you want a younger party scene with crowded bars then you will have to look elsewhere. read more

Five stars aren't enough. DeeAnna has provided the absolute Hall of Fame insofar as a home away from home is concerned. Sonia and I were absolutely delirious about the digs. What impresses us most is the careful attention that DeeAnna and her people gave to all the small touches and amenities. There's not just an adult pair of scissors in the laundry room, but there's a child's pair also. There's also glue, paperclips, safety pins, beach towels, a pen, paper, you name it. There's not just a washer and dryer, but a name brand Maytag washer and dryer, heavy duty and expensive. Not just a go-to-hell refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher, but Whirlpool brand. Not just silverware--and lots of it--but tongs, a cheese grater, a cheese slicer, half a dozen spatulas, tupperware out the wazoo. Not just a television but a BIG ol' television and Amazon Prime to boot! The furniture is beautiful, functional, and comfortable. The master bedroom contains a king-size bed. (Those of you who don't own one at home will never be the same.) The pool is large by any definition of the word--crisp and a little chilly in the morning and warm and inviting by late afternoon. The beach and the Gulf are beyond compare and the white sands of Navarre Beach are always warm, never hot. Contrary to some opinions, Navarre Beach DOES have several excellent restaurants and many adequate ones. For an unbelievable hamburger or shrimp tacos, go to Johnny Huston's. For something you don't eat every day (or month or year), try Thailand's Best LLC. Mexican food? Cactus Flower is dee-lish. Jersey Mike's Subs are hard to beat anywhere. We know a little bit about Italian food, having lived near St. Louis' "The Hill" area for years, and Bella Luna Italian Bistro compares very favorably. Sonia and I have already recommended DeeAnna's BHWP2B to two other people and we've been home only three days. DeeAnna seems to have thought of everything. This is the best vacation spot we've ever visited and I guarantee you, we WILL be back. read more

Patty's condo that we are staying in is simply beautiful. Our family could not ask for a more perfect place to stay beach front. The amenities are just as described, everything is clean, the pool is nice and well policed to make sure only beach colony residents are the ones swimming. The only thing It is lacking is a hot tub.. most beach front resorts ive stayed in have had a hot tub and tha has been a huge highlight of my trip so this was a huge disappointment on my end. The condo owners of Beach Colony East 9A decided to cancel our reservation because they wanted to for that weekend. https://www.vrbo.com/2256139 The money had already been taken from our account. I guess their "real-time" calendar means jack. This so-called "host" f@#$d a family get-away. Now my money is tied up and I was told it could take 5 business days to get it back. That means I can't rent anything else for the holiday because these jokers decided to take it upon themselves to cancel a confirmed, paid-in-full rental. This was my first experience with vacasa and Vrbo and my last. The fact they can break a paid rental at a whim is appalling. I would never, EVER rent from these owners again. If you use these buffoons, just know they can cancel your vacation at will. read more

Ok..i own a rental unit there but this is a very nice property with all the amenities. The balconies are covered and 250 sq feet. The pool is the largest on the beach. The views of the Gulf and the inter coastal are terrific. Most of the time the beach is crowded. read more

Love Beach Colony, but not this one of the two units I rented for family. Do not rent 11 A in the East Building. This unit was filthy. Sheets dirty, comforter with blood, pills and garbage under beds, air return vents covered with accumulated dust, refrigerator water and ice in door filthy and didn't work. The worst part... roaches through out the unit. Scott was easy to contact, but does not keep this unit maintained. The pictures on this rental do not reflect the current condition. I was refunded $200 for the inconvenience, but this was truly not enough to have to stay in this unit. We had to wash everything and could not bring in our own food or use the dishes because roaches were crawling all over! Do not rent this unit! read more

This is a family oriented kinda resort. If you have kids, friends who have kids, then this place is perfect for you to kick back and enjoy the beach or pool the whole day. The condos are spacious and have an amazing view of the beach and ocean, ours had wifi, patio furniture to relax, tv's in every room with cable though we didn't quite use it. Also there was an option to rent a movie free that came with staying at the condos but we didn't quite get to watch tv. All guests were cordial which was nice and came from all over the place. Spent 3 nights and could have easily done 4 but shucks work waits for no man . read more

Our large family always needs to rent houses/condos for vacation (5 kids, ages 21-10), so our rental after Christmas 2019 (#2A, east tower) was a dream come true for us! Our 3 bedroom unit had PLENTY of space (and three bathrooms, YASSS!) so all of us had all the privacy we could want (Grandma included, she came down to spend a few days with us)! The property agency was super quick to correct two tiny issues we had at check-in; all the staff & guest service agents we talked to and met with were courteous and helpful, even recommending places to eat the freshest local seafood on the island, and taking the final trash bags from our hands at check-out so that we didn't have to walk them out ourselves! read more

We are in the West Tower and it's very nice. The pool is very large and clean! The beaches in front of the condos are very nice and super clean! The only reason I'm giving it a 4 star is because the condo we stayed in was EXTREMELY cold the entire time! Freeeeeeeezing! Great spot, first time in Navarre and the amenities are nice, wish the pool was heated since the west tower shades the pool mid day. The beach needs some serious work and additional sand brought in but the condos are really spacious and fitness center was great! Even had a pull up bar (which is rare). Overall ill be back for sure but definitely in the summer months, not spring break too cold :) read more

I loved our rental condo in the east tower. As other reviewers have said, the pool needs a heater as it is very shaded and unuseable while the neighboring pools are packed. Great spot for a low key vacation. This was out second trip to navarre but first to this condo. From what i can see this place has the best views and beach/peir access combo. "Question?", Navarre Beach I was approached by a man and he was telling me about how he owns condos and manages them, rents them, cleans them and how he was going to be the president of the home owners association. He introduced himself as THANE CREECH. Then things got weird, he started getting real friendly saying he could show me some condos he manages/rents and that I can even stay in one for a couple days if they aren't rented out or the home owners are out of town for free to see how I liked them. This whole time he was touching my hand trying to hold it. He told me he would show me the pint house suite but I couldn't stay in that one unless he stayed with me. I'm not homosexual, but my question is, is Navarre Beach a gay community? I know they have gay pride week in May on memorial day weekend. I don't have any problems with anyone that's homosexual, but when someone is offering free condos on someone else's expense for sex it makes me uneasy. ( WHO IS THIS THANE CREECH????????) read more

Recently, the building has been undergoing extensive reconstruction, and this included the heavy use of jackhammers during the first 3 weeks of January. This, combined with grinding, pounding, and other noise essentially rendered the units unlivable for the entirety of January. Yet, the association still allowed condo owners to rent the units during this time. Many renters with month long reservations showed up, stayed for one or two days, and left because of the terrible noise. And renters are being refused refunds by the owners, despite the fact that Beach Colony and its owners could not fullfil their end of the bargain. This clearly constitutes fraud, since the units were unfit to live in. Our reservation was for the month of January. When we made our reservation in September, we were told by the owner that only the balconies would be under construction, and the agreement merely stated that the patios would be closed off. No mention was made of the long-duration jack-hammering, or of the myriad of other inconveniences such as atriums being closed for painting on certain days, the beach access being closed, or the elevator doors being replaced. However, once we arrived, we quickly realized we could not stay there. The jackhammer noise was almost deafening. You literally could not hear yourself talk inside your own condo while this was going on. Regardless of whether they were hammering on the 15th floor or the 1st floor, the sound would travel through the concrete structure all the same. Also, the jack-hammering would begin as early as 7:00 AM, and not end until 4:00-5:00 PM. The owner refuses to return our money, and is ignoring all attempts at contact. I feel Beach Colony should compel the owners who rented their condos during this time to give refunds. Especially avoid the owner Mike D. Henney of unit E5A. He is the one who did not give the correct scope and duration of the construction, and is refusing contact, or refunds. We have found him to be very unethical, and he even falsely accused us of $400.00 damage. I am livid about that. It is a beautiful place to stay otherwise, but watch which owner you deal with. Not all of them at Beach Colony are ethical. read more

PLEASE. Do yourself a favor before renting unit 15-F at the Beach Colony Resort in Navarre Beach, Florida, Completely read this review. We are 3 seniors that rented condo number 15-F at the Beach Colony Resort. We rented this unit through SHAKIRA at the Navarre Properties, located at the Summerwind Resort. Upon check-in on January 15, 2017, we immediately loved the condo. It is very clean, very spacious and well lit with plenty of windows. BUT. There is a major downside to this unit. Nothing to do with the unit itself, But rather what comes with it. NOISE. Every day, day and night. The inconsiderate people that live in 14-E, one floor below and one unit over, plays music very, very loud. Have you ever been stopped at a red light in your car and car pulls up next to you at a red light and their stereo is blasting out bass so loud it shakes your car? That is what we had to experience for 45 days. Every day...day and night. You could hear it plain as day. I reported this noise to Navarre Properties numerous times with no satisfaction whatsoever. I notified the Santa Rosa Sheriff's office and was told they have no jurisdiction. I went to the office of the Beach Colony Resort. Again, no satisfaction. I complained to the Home Owner's Association of the Beach Colony Resort. Yep, you guessed it. No satisfaction there either. I later found out that the unit 14-E owners were on the HOA. So I knew then that there would be no satisfaction from them. So for 45 long days, I had to tolerate this loud music. So if you are looking to have a peaceful and quiet vacation in a condo, look elsewhere. And DON"T use Shakira at the Navarre Properties at the Summerwind Resort for your rentals. I would never recommend. these people. read more
