Definitely our favorite condo in Navarre so far (in the past 18 years we have stayed in five different complexes on the Gulf side of Navarre Beach). We had some maintenance and cleanliness issues, but they were taken care of within 12 hours. The small hot tub was broken while here, but that actually made it more amazing. The complex has a hot tub, a big "cool" tub that fits 20, and a pool. Because the hot tub was broken, the "cool" tub was heated making it so much fun for our large group to hang out in the hot tub every evening. And finally both the Pier Bar (also called LagerHeads) and the tiki bar (really known as Juana's Pagodas) are within walking distance giving us fun late nights.

The walls in the room are paper thin you can hear EVERYTHING going on around you, not just muffled, full conversations and kids screaming at 5am clear as day. Update 08/24/23…read more Spent another wonderful week at Portofino Resort in Pensacola FL. They have many amenities from 6 pools to tennis courts and bikes and mopeds to rent. Not to mention 2 wonderful restaurants and a bar by the main pool. Very well kept up and has the best sunsets and sunrises in Florida. A very delightful experience. Can't wait until next year.

Toilet was very low, but facilities all worked well. The comp soap, lotion and shampoo/conditioner smell amazing and made my hair feel so smooth! I wanted more of it. Parking is free. The only off-putting aspect was since the doors are external, the wind made the doors rattle all night long and our room was by the elevator which creates a tunnel effect for the wind. We also saw the hall light from outside, even with our shades closed. If back in the area we will try again and hope to get a better assigned room.

I will say, one maintanance issue with our unit was addressed promptly and resolved. I've also observed guests get better attention if they rent more costly rentals.

If you're planning a trip to Navarre Beach, do yourself a favor and avoid all properties managed by Vacasa LLC. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, we encountered nothing but problems. To start, the condo had a coded entry door followed by two keyed entries. Despite being provided with a code, we were never given a key. We initially entered the condo using the code, but when one of the keyed doors accidentally shut, we were locked out. What followed was a nightmare of incompetence. We called and messaged every contact number provided, only to be met with disbelief and rudeness. Several representatives outright denied the existence of a keyed door, and I was hung up on multiple times. Finally, after nearly two hours of waiting, I reached a representative named Cedric who, thankfully, took our situation seriously and promised to send someone with a key. During this time, my family and I were forced to wait outside in the humid Florida weather for almost two hours. This trip was meant to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday, but instead, we spent hours outside, watching her birthday cake melt into a sticky mess. When the manager, Leslie, finally arrived, she showed no urgency whatsoever. Accompanied by two friends, she casually walked up to the second floor, unlocked the door, and left without a single word of apology or acknowledgment. The lack of urgency and basic human decency was astounding. What if a child had been trapped inside, or worse, on the balcony? The property's indifferent response to this safety hazard is inexcusable. Our plans for a birthday dinner were completely ruined, with no accountability from the property. Unfortunately, this was just the beginning of our troubles. Once inside, the property itself was riddled with issues. The refrigerator door wouldn't stay closed, forcing us to prop it shut constantly. All small kitchen appliances were dirty, or in poor shape. The furniture was stained and old. The kitchen table is leaning causing items to simply slide off on the floor. One of the bathtubs didn't drain properly, making it almost unusable as it took 20 minutes to drain after a shower. The cleanliness of the condo was subpar, dishes in the cabinets and drawers were dirty, there was a urine stain on one of the beds,and none of the bathrooms were clean. There was hair and grime in the showers requiring us to clean the entire space before we could relax. Moreover, the building's elevator had an inspection that was over a year out of date--a serious safety concern that I have documented and will be reporting to the fire department. During our stay, we also witnessed people engaging in explicit activities on a balcony, yet security seemed more concerned about policing my children getting out of the pool on time. Despite alerting security, nothing was done about the inappropriate behavior. To add insult to injury, after checking out on time and returning all wristbands as required, I was charged an additional $313. When I contacted the company to dispute this charge, they falsely claimed that we checked out an hour and a half late and left trash in the unit. This is an outright lie. I have Life360 screenshots proving when we left, and we were never informed that we needed to take out the trash, although all major trash was removed. I am now disputing these fraudulent charges with my bank and will be reporting this property to the appropriate authorities for the out-of-date elevator inspection. This entire experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. If you value your time, money, and sanity, steer clear of all properties owned by Vacasa LLC in Navarre Beach.

Beware... you get what you pay for. Their service is anything but friendly. The last time I went to pick up my dog, I rang the bell several times and waited in the lobby for 20 minutes before somebody came to ask if they could help. In this instance, we're asking friends if they can watch our dog for the weekend. Otherwise, we get to tell our kids that we won't be taking our little trip as planned. That should be fun to explain to our 4 year old (who LOVES hotels).

Regardless if you bring your own or rent from them though you're still on top of people all day it's so crowded. The actual condo itself was ok with everything we needed so there's no complaints there. It's dated and not luxurious by any means but also not the worst part of our trip. The big one however and probably the reason we will stop staying here after being a returning costumer for so many years is the same situation others have had with the parking. My family and I went to dinner our last night and upon returning to the condo's we had windows and sunroof open and I guess our parking pass blew off the dash and onto my center console without us noticing as we were getting out of the truck. We woke up the next morning to begin the task of packing and getting ready to leave only to find a cable lock on my rim. We payed a LOT of money to stay at this place for a week only to get booted in the parking lot on the last day. Had to pay another $270 bucks to get this thing off my truck so we could go home. A paying guest with a parking pass and they insult you with an almost three hundred dollar charge over a piece of paper not being on the dash. As I stated earlier, we have been coming here a long time and this has NEVER happened here before. What an insult to your guest. Don't expect anyone to help you or hear your case out either, they won't. There's no number to call on the ticket and management won't help you or give you any guidance. They just tell you they're not responsible for security and say sorry. Please learn from our experience and look elsewhere for your vacation. There's far too many options along the coast for the hard earned money you spend to come here and have a boot put on your car while piled on top of strangers on the beach all day. Lastly, the bed frame needs tightening because the slightest touch and it wobbles all over, bumps the wall and creaks. Moving around in it was worse. The view is phenomenal and the condo very clean and well stocked with all you need to cook meals, not that I did any cooking. haha THE BEACH!!! it's sooo beautiful. We spent time on the beach relaxing, but we also went on a dolphin cruise in PCB, a tiki cruise to Crab Island and parasailing in Destin. We drove 399 to Pensacola and got yummy ice cream on the boardwalk. We ate at Dave's oyster bar in Navarre and I had my first ever oysters, they were really good. We also ate at Pineapple Willy's on the beach in Destin,TC's front porch in Navarre and really enjoyed those. You must get Pineapple Willy's namesake drink with the extra rum shot. We had dinner at Windjammers on the pier and it was very tasty. Their triple rum punch is no joke, it's a good thing I only had to walk next door to our condo. Lol Shopping was not as successful as the rest of our trip, but we finally found some things in Destin right as you come off the bridge coming back from Destin or before the bridge going to Destin. The only place I could find anything with Navarre on it was Walmart which was a letdown. Navarre needs a few small souvenir stores, not the big ones though. Navarre properties were attentive to ALL my emails and calls regarding our stay before we got there. They were always friendly and polite whether by email, messaging or in person. My husband reported a problem with the tub in our condo backing up and they fixed it that same day while we were out and about. When we left we had set the dishwasher, but forgot to turn it on. They unlocked the door remotely so we could do it. They are amazing and so pleasant to interact with. We'd hung a flag on our balcony for 911 and the security guy who came up and asked us to remove it was very nice about it explaining that it's against the rules to hang anything from the balcony. He even stated he felt bad because of what day it was. We removed it right away. We had the best time ever! The whole property is well kept and all the people are so friendly. Access to the beach is a breeze and most of all THE VIEW!!!!
