Generally love Marriott, but didn't get the set up of this one. Not sure if it was just the room we stayed in or all, but if you have water view rooms, why block one of the beds with the bathroom? Appearance wise the hotel is great, beach is beautiful, rooms are pretty. Restaurants are within walkable distance as is the pier. However, your room is only cleaned every other day. You must get clean towels yourself and if you do they only give you hand towels, if you are lucky enough to get towels for the beach they are also very tiny worn towels that you must sign in and out. The restaurant is horrible, save your money. Ill include a picture of my $30 shrimp. Employees seems stressed and very understaffed. The walls in the room are paper thin you can hear EVERYTHING going on around you, not just muffled, full conversations and kids screaming at 5am clear as day. I would skip this and stay somewhere cheaper or splurge on a nicer hotel! The photos the hotel puts on their website are deceiving. read more

Stayed here with my girlfriend for the past 5 days and overall the stay wasn't bad. Our main and only issue was with our initial check in, the staff failed to inform us of the amount they would hold on our card for "damages" (200$) initially which turned to (270$) when we were charged an additional 70$ the next day. Then were attempted later to be charged an additional 80$ and 30$ to be held for "damages" the night before checkout. We also weren't made aware of the 25$ parking a day fee when we didn't even drive to the property! On a lighter note, the breakfast, view, and staff were great! Specifically, Cody did an AMAZING job taking care of us and making us feel welcome! read more

Another Marriott property gem found on the gulf coast in Navarre Beach. From check in to check out we experienced nothing short of excellent customer service. With plenty of free parking as enter property to only 6 floors with working elevators that never had us more than a minute wait, it was easily 1 of my favorite Marriott places to stay . We had a decent sized room with balcony overlooking the ocean .The night views were incredible overlooking the pool and beach .It was perfect for having a glass of vino before heading to sleep. The crystal white sandy beach was a short walk down a small walkway connected to the hotel. With lifeguards on duty and dolphins swimming close to shore we felt perfectly safe. Although I didn't get in the ocean this time .It did make me miss my surfing days. There was a $25 resort fee that was automatically added to our stay but was given back to us as a voucher to be used in their restaurant. We used it for a bottle of wine and the staff here was gracious enough to open/ cork it with 2 borrowed wine glasses so could enjoy later. Small buffet style breakfast was served from 6 to 10 am .As an early riser , went down at 0545 am to beat the crowds and was able to pick up fresh muffins , hot coffee/ tea and French toast. They even allowed for a late checkout at 4pm .We traveled in April and so the hotel and city were very light for crowds. Would absolutely return to this somewhat hidden gem for another amazing vacay . read more

First time staying here but second time in Navarre. We stayed at an Airbnb last time and decided a hotel was a better option. I love how close it is to the beach and how accessible it is. There's a pool, jacuzzi and restaurant at the hotel. The pier is not that far of a walk. Our check in process was smooth, no issues and the employees are so nice. We asked for toothbrushes and toothpaste as well as linen for our sofa bed. Very accommodating! The ice cream was very good, they give you a lot of ice cream! It's also kid friendly. read more

Stay away from this hotel!!! - smells like wet dog - animal pee and poop on the floor in our room - muddy foot prints, dog prints in room - low housekeeping staff - parking is no longer free ($20 a day) - the one star is for Chris at the front desk, and Chris only. To start, the whole property smells like wet dog. Additionally, when we got into our room (king bed suite with balcony bay view) there were remnants of dog urine, and dog poop. In this room, we also found many fake finger nails inside, as well as outside on our balcony. I went down to the front desk, where I told Chris about this situation. He was very quick to apologize and find us another room, also offering a $100 food voucher. I got to our next room, where again, it smelled musty and like dog urine. This room did not have a balcony or a view of the bay, and was not told this before moving rooms. So I went back down to the front desk and asked for a room that we paid for, or asked to only be charged the rate of a room with no balcony or view. Chris apologized, put us in another room, this time a king suite with a balcony of the gulf! Chris was doing his very best to make this stay, but unfortunately this last room smelled of dog, had muddy dog prints and foot prints all over the room and looked as if it again, had never been cleaned in between stays. read more

During 2024, we stayed in quite a few Springhill Suites. Hands down, this was the cleanest and most comfortable. Our room was spotless and a bit larger than others. The front desk staff was friendly at check-in and check-out. The breakfast offered was hot and well restocked. We will stay here again when in Navarre Beach read more

I have spent much of my life traveling the globe and when there has been a choice, Marriott has been our go to choice, we've always had a good experience. In fact my husband and I have had probably six or seven visits to this very beach and four visits to this hotel. So, top marks for past visits. But sadly this time was below par. I think several of us experienced similar room conditions, I've never done this before but I asked to have the room cleaned .. again. Pictures posted are after the second cleaning, the hair does not belong to us, as well as the toothpaste on the counter. I hope this has just been a one off, I would hate for Marriott to slide down in its standard. The beach is still amazing and the dolphins stopped to say hi as always. Checked in on Monday, 9-8. No housekeeping service on Tuesday 9-9 or Wednesday 9-10. Finally on Thursday 9-11, the housekeeper showed up, took our used towels, left new, clean towels, took the trash, ignored the coffee station and didn't even bother to make the bed. WORST SERVICE EVER! Front desk clerk assumed that we had the 'do not disturb' sign out which was not true. Pool inner tubes were losing air and we had to hunt down a maintenance man to request that he fill the inner tubes with air every day. They should either be patched or replaced. And this year is opposed to last year when we stayed there we had to pay $25 a day for parking. read more

Probably one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. First and foremost, the employees were extremely friendly and professional. I was greeted by all that we encountered. The employee at the front desk, Ocean, was very accommodating and she answered all of my questions. She even followed up when she saw me next to make sure my stay was what I expected. My room was exceptionally clean. It was a room on the 2nd floor on the Gulf side. The room was not large but it had everything that I needed. A king bed, work station, microwave and refrigerator (no freezer), very large shower, and a small living room with television. There was also a television in the bedroom. Access to the balcony was next to the bed and a small table with two chairs were there for my use. Breakfast was fantastic with many options. The normal eggs and sausage along with various other cereal, muffins, milk, juice, and more. The breakfast area overlooks the outdoor pool (heated) and of course the Gulf. The hotel has a boardwalk directly to the beach. This was awesome as it is extremely close. On the boardwalk near the steps up to the hotel are two outdoor shower heads to rinse off before going inside. The employees were always mopping and cleaning and I am sure the sand keeps them busy. There were several carts available to haul your personal items to your room. The private parking lot had ample parking and it was complimentary. The location could not be better and even though there are other options next to, or nearby, I have decided this will be my destination for the future. I could have saved money to stay on the bay side. After staying there, I would gladly stay on that side if the Gulf side was not available. There is a small restaurant on site and the sandwiches were a bit pricy but they were loaded with meat! There were also premade salads and plenty of drink selections, both alcohol and non. I will encourage all of my friends and family to stay here. This was not my first time staying in the area but this was the best stay I've had yet. The only average experience were the bathroom towels. They were more like towels you would find around the pool and it very large or soft. Again, this is being critical and the towels that I had did work. Just the small things. I did not use it but they did have a paid laundry available with washers and dryers. I booked and paid for a room for my daughter and her husband for a wedding gift. They were on the way there it was 2:00 check in was 4:00. when they got a message from the hotel that their reservation was cancelled by Expedia. I called hotels.com and tried to find out what happened. This hotel overbooked and then took NO responsibility which seems to be the way of the world right now. Hotels.com got another hotel for us but not on the beach which was the main reason for going to Destin I need negative stars I'm giving 1 star to make sure people read this. One of the only hotel rooms I could not breathe good in, air was on but did not circulate at all. The room floors felt so dirty too. Several of our friends experienced the same thing. Walls are super thin, you can basically hear everything going on, which is ridiculous. Cleaning crew was beyond rude, I have never experienced a cleaning crew more unprofessional in my life. How dare I ask for a roll of toilet paper and the lady acted like I inconvenienced her, while her cart was outside my door. For the amount of money a night and $25 parking fee a night, I would expect much more from this hotel. I do not recommend. read more

The location and view from our room were fantastic. It was not a great experience. We've stayed hundreds of nights at Bonvoy properties over the years. This ranks up at the top of worst experiences for many reasons. I don't consider our family picky or hotel snobs, but I felt compelled to write this post. Below are some of the reasons for our poor rating. * The bed closet to the hallway door was very uncomfortable. However, the 2nd bed was even worse. This was our chief complaint. All 4 of us are going to see a chiropractor after the trip. *Gave the front desk my credit card multiple times and spent over an hour waiting in line over it. I understand the staff made a mistake, but waiting in line multiple times was frustrating. * Never in my life has the poolside experience been so bad. There were no chairs to sit on around the pool for two consecutive days. This blows my mind. * The staff was not friendly except for one of the breakfast servers and Sean who was the pool waiter. * The family in the room next to us had a little kid who woke up at 430am each morning and was very loud. I get that kids wake up early, but the walls were so thin (or they were so loud), that it was like we were in the same room given the noise. * When we first entered our hotel room, we noticed a considerable amount of mold in the shower. We requested that the staff clean it, but it was gross. As a result, we ended our vacation two days earlier and checked out. We decided to drive home for 9 hours on a Saturday with heavier traffic because we were so unpleased. read more

It's a decent hotel for what it's worth. You have to go up 1 floor for the lobby area where you can check in. Lobby is also where they serve complimentary breakfast, gym, access to pool and beach. We were also given a $25 credit you can use (for food and drinks btw) at the Social House restaurant. They could approve on cleanliness as I saw pieces of hair in our towels and floor. Be warned the heated pool is anything but. -Hot Tub not hot, no milkshakes, pool bar close early, bring back the beach house, and twenty five dollars to park in a empty parking lot. My guy and I stayed here for 2 nights on 12/30 and 12/31. We came to celebrate New Years by the ocean and had a wonderful stay here. Our room had a beautiful view of the gulf. Even though it was rainy and overcast most of our stay, we enjoyed it. The hotel has many amenities such as breakfast, a gym, pool, bike rides, yoga, and even a $25 food credit to use in their hotel. We really enjoyed the restaurant they had on site. We had a delicious meal there our first night and went back to sit at the bar for drinks and appetizer the next night. Overall, it was a very pleasant hotel. The 1 less star rating was due to how noisy the rooms were. You can hear when doors are being closed. They slam shut very hard. There's also a humming noise in the background that we couldn't quite figure the source. It could just have been where our room was located. We highly recommend this hotel for the location, comfort, amenities, and friendly customer service. read more

Nice Hotel! Loved the fact that the beds are separated (the bathroom and closet are in the middle ) creating a sense of privacy. Parking was always easy. If you are sleeping 4 adults I would recommend to not get the sofa sleeper option as it's only 1 bed put together with the sofa and although there's enough space it's a bit uncomfortable for an adult. Breakfast included a variety of cereals, breads, yogurt, eggs , sausage, grits, oatmeal , waffles , fruit ,juice and coffee. The traffic moves fast and the manager was always there helping people out. The hotel has great access to the beach and has beach chairs and umbrellas available for rent. There's a pool with a small lazy river with full view to the beach. You will be issued a towel card that will allow you to get up to 4 beach/pool towels at a time . Towels are smaller than regular beach towels. Bring your own beach towels If you are wanting to go explore other beaches around. The Beach House Bar and Grill serves a limited menu and portions are small. Not impressed with flavor or variety. They have Phenomenal staff! Loved our stay at Navarre Beach - beautiful room, fluffy linens, incredible view, yummy food, friendly staff and pristine beach! We loved our balcony, and the shower could fit 4 people, lol. Super spacious room with two tvs, sitting area, desk area, and 'living room' with couch. The beach was spectacular and the water was beautiful. We ate at the on-site restaurant - 1/2 chicken, Asian salad, and apple/prosciutto pizza were all tasty. Cocktails were ok (margarita and hurricane). After dinner we opted for ice cream back in the hotel lobby. The attendant was a doll - super sweet just like everyone we encountered. Only downside was the noise from guests in room next to us - could clearly hear their screaming children. read more

A superb location with a breathtaking view of the gulf and the bay. At check in, the gentleman at the front desk was not personable. The coffee bar on the main floor has everything I needed. Espresso, Americano, etc. attached to the coffee bar is a full bar which you can order from inside or the pool deck. The pool deck is pretty cool! A nice size pool that joins a good size lazy river. Opening in 2017 in one of the calmest towns of Florida is a very neat property that hardly feels like a Springhill suites. The first element that differentiates this hotel is the design and architecture that deviates from any cookie cutter Springhill Suites property. It's white beachy exterior, likely inspired by Spanish colonial architecture, most closely resembles the buildings found in Rosemary Beach. The interior is also unique in all aspects. Although Springhill Suites is one of the lowest starred and priced hotels in the portfolio, this property really does redefine what a Springhill should be. The recognition of benefits here is about as minimal as with other Springhill Suites. As a titanium elite, your best benefit available is an upgrade to a gulf front room, which was honored on 2/3 occasions staying here. Otherwise, the breakfast that's included is the typical stuff and there isn't much to note beyond that. But, with all that said, this particular property does do a good job with upgrades and there is something to be said for that. These days, scoring an upgrade even at higher end properties in Bonvoy tends to be an exercise of begging, so it is nice when a 3 star property gets the idea of recognizing status. The service is great throughout the stay, very efficient and items get brought up quickly when needed. The Beach house restaurant below has some excellent food and is a restaurant that could easily sit in a 4 star hotel. As a brand of depressing properties, Springhill rarely excites or meets expectations, but Springhill Navarre does the opposite. It's an elegantly designed, well serviced property located on a nearly secluded beach of Navarre. read more

Jan 2024 - a 4 night stay. Rates were excellent with low season. We received $5 gift store credit daily, $25 food credit daily and breakfast for 2 daily. Free bike use for 1 hour daily. Christina at the front desk was friendly. Nori and Bella were great breakfast hosts. The room was spacious but didn't have body lotion as an amenity. Beach was super clean and shells plentiful. The emera cafe had a great selection of sandwiches and kombucha, coconut water and espresso drinks. I would definitely stay here again. read more

I wish the Springhill Suites Navarre Beach was up to the Marriott standard that they market heavily and that the hotel actually served and provided the services they post throughout social media. I was there 5 days in April with my 70 yo mother and 10 yo daughter. It was supposed to be a relaxing girls trips which is why I booked a hotel over the numerous Airbnbs that are there. I didnt want to have to clean and supply our stay. We booked with 3 day cancellation policy. Restaurants were either closed or very limited. We tried to schedule housekeeping, because they dont do it without asking, and even then, 4 days, they wouldn't refresh the room, after we asked daily. We didn't even ask for full housekeeping. We were told they are short staffed and short supplied. When asked about leaving early, on day 3, due to lack of service, we were told I'd be charged as we were outside of the 3 day before arrival cancel policy. We couldn't get clean towels, soap or toilet paper for our room FOR 4 DAYS, and we paid over $300 per night We had to go to CVS and buy our own supplies. Hotel refuses to resolve because this is their standard practice. BE AWARE...you need to bring your own supplies to stay here. Multiple reviews on TripAdvisor and even their own Marriott site say the same thing from other guests. GM and Marriott customer service both apologize for the inconvenience but refuse to return any $ they took without delivering the services they promised and advertise. Anywhere else thats called stealing. I was offered 40k in points from their corporate offers that doesn't even cover half of a one night stay there. That location requires 89k points. This is not equitable compensation for the over $1600 room and tax bill I paid and lack of service received. read more

I'll start by saying the pool and the proximity to the beach is great! But everything else about our stay was a let down. I have stayed at hundreds of Marriott / Bonvoy properties over recent years (as I work in the travel industry) and I was very surprised by the lack of customer service/customer care by several front desk workers throughout multiple interactions. The biggest let down was the mold and cleanliness in our room. Our comforter / bed spread had several stains on it. We found hair on the pillows and towels. And I had to speak to two different workers to get a decent amount of mold removed from our bathroom. At over $300 USD a night, guests should not need to worry about getting sick from mold or mildew. In the 6 days we were in the room, no matter what the temperature was, the room was constantly damp and humid. Our swimsuits from day 4 were still damp when we checked out on day 6 because nothing could dry in the room due to the moisture in the air. I understand humidity is common at the beach but once again, as a loyal and elite Bonvoy member I've never had this many issues at one hotel. Not the worst place we have ever stayed but we will be choosing a different stay for our next trip to Navarre. read more

Beach and pool are nice. The room service policy is every 3 days- not very good and guests complain. The front desk has to have a pile of towels for guests to get extra towels. Doesn't seem very hygienic.No answer on the phone line to the front desk. Staff is nice. Be careful on the incidental charges. They charge you everyday you stay around 150 and say they will reimburse you. Never encountered that before. Would not give it a 5 star rating. read more

This hotel is located within an hour of both Destin and Pensacola. Navarre Beach is a quiet beach community that offers solitude and simplicity. The beach is not overcrowded and you can actually relax. The hotel is a little over two years old. The rooms are great and have a nautical theme. The is a small store in the lobby with all of your beach needs. There is an outdoor pool, indoor pool, and a lazy river. right outside the pool area is the beach. There is a pool bar and a restaurant at the hotel for your convenience. Breakfast was great here, with a wide variety of options for every type of foodie. There are not many chain restaurants in the area...most eateries are local seafood or american food options. Traffic is horrible near the hotel to get across the bridge on the busier weekends, so plan ahead and try to get on and off the island during non-peak times. read more

This is a property, and a place, I would not mind escaping to again and again. The beachfront in this part of Florida is really quite beautiful and the location of this hotel is directly on the beach and nicely spread out instead of squeezed too tightly between its neighbors. The mid-rise hotel is appealing for many reasons, including its scale. It is not a tower so doesn't dominate the skyline. The white exterior gives it a more luxurious luster than some of the other nearby buildings boasting brown tones. The large surface parking lot marks the entrance to the hotel. An elevator whisks passengers one floor up to the lobby for guest registration. There is a retail shop with swimwear and other apparel plus sun block, tote bags in tropical colors and more. This level is where meeting rooms are located as well as a walkway that connects the main building with a restaurant and bar. The fitness center is large and has amenities like towels, ear plugs for electronics, water and cleaning agents to give weights and equipment a sanitizing swipe post-workout. The outdoor pool is large and features an infinity entrance plus a wrap around design that lets the water meander rather than just occupy a big box shape. The room almost felt like two rooms since one queen bed occupied its own space, but was separated by the bathroom and closet before another room opened up that included a sitting area and a second queen bed. Wow. Chic and stylish decor, prime beachfront real estate that puts guests within easy access of the surf and sand and incredibly inviting environment. Well done and well run. read more

The 2 queen bed ( which I feel closer to full size) room we occupied had a different sort of set up which was neat the 2 queen beds were separated by a bathroom in the middle of the room as to separate the 2 areas, I liked it. Beautiful beach front property with a resturant and pool with a mini lazy river like. It has a bar to serve basic drinks. At the time of this review they are serving a hot full breakfast. Staff was friendly. Walking throughout, I constantly saw staff cleaning up, wiping down high touch areas and emptying trash. Clean easy access to the beach. At this beach there are lounge chair and umbrella rentals, 2 chairs and 1 umbrella $15 an hour. When we were the beach (mid July) there was a ton of seaweed right at beach front but once past that about 20 ft or so, you were good in nice turquoise clear water. 2 showers with multiple shower heads available to rinse off after your time at the beach. Kids craft in lobby. Very family friendly. If I'm ever in the area again , I'd stay here for sure. There's plenty to explore in the area. Traffic can get a little contested in the area. read more

Clean well laid out rooms ample space bathroom door a little tight to where the sink is at however it's still functional nice shower big enough for your family ha ha. Good supply of luggage carts nice drive up area easy parking lobby is on second floor after you arrive. Decent breakfast is available. Nice view if you get a balcony view of the ocean however try to pick the right side of the rear of the building for a better view. read more

Horrible experience at check in. Elevators were always full and took forever to arrive. Not enough umbrellas around pool. Walls are paper thin so you can hear everything in the rooms next to you and hallways. Water main broke so there was no water for the night. They charge $25 daily resort fee and give you credit to use at their cafe and ice cream but somehow the systems are always down and you can't use the voucher. Let's start with the complementary beach towel ie:, a hand towel, that is all you get no beach chairs no umbrellas, nada. On our last day, there were several people trying to enjoy a Sunday morning swim while staff were rudely trying to drain the pool. My husband had to go find his own chair and then scolded by a male staffer in a blue polo shirt saying, well I guess you can just help yourself. I was disappointed in the room. It had stains on the couch, the closet was all cracked and the bedroom comforter had light stains on it, which we took off the bed immediately. For the price of the room, it's pretty sad they don't have the rooms and furniture in better condition and changed or professionally cleaned. The hotel pool and lobby were nice and the staff were friendly. We asked when we got there if they had another room available but they stated they were fully booked. The continental breakfast was the same thing every day, scrambled eggs, sausage with bagels, toast, etc. I preferably don't like sausage but we just went and grabbed breakfast elsewhere. In my opinion, if the room was cleaned better and taken better care of I would possibly go back. The only reason we stayed is because there were no last-minute hotels to check into. Again we just never sat in the living room nor did we use the comforter. I did like it was a very quiet hotel. The restaurant on the property Beach Bar and Grille didn't have a lot of selections for kids nor appetizers/ quick bites. I really liked staying here. It is right on the beach and gorgeous. The lazy river is so nice to relax and float in, however the pool area needs more that 5 umbrellas for shade. Also o couldn't enjoy the complementary breakfast once because there wasn't a gluten-free option a single morning of the 5 days we were there. But all in all a decent hotel! Worth it! Our suite was ocean views 2nd floor. Which has a nice balcony facing the ocean, overlooking the pool as well. The suite itself was very roomy, well appointed. KING bed super comfy and and the shower always had a good amount of water pressure and hot water...! Off to the side of the suite was an additional tv area with a pull out sofa bed and sofa that was quite comfy (we didn't use the bed part) So if you were a small family or just 2 its perfect for separate space. Not private but still really nice roomy. Room was updated not that worn look at all. Very nice good size and had all the usual perks. Quiet and ac worked very good. Overall resort was very nice experience. Staff very nice and helpful. All smiles. The resort credit you get was a nice touch. We def used ours! Plenty of options onsite for food and bev. Poolside bar made great drinks. Not the chinzy kind and the prices were fair. You'll need to nab your pool chairs early if its biz season. The beach chairs are not included in the resort. (They are extra) But you can bring your own set ups it looked like. Beach/Pool towels are provided upon request. The complementary breakfast was just nicely appointed lots of options. Free Popcorn daily for a short time. Sat night movie in the lobby was a nice touch. But no captions or sound? Pool was great they have a lazy river with tubes as well as a kiddie not deep area of the pool. All in all. If felt like a resort. Not super lux trendy type But VERY nice overall. Def come back and made me think twice about booking future options with the Marriot brand. I'd hope they were all this nice!!! read more

Would not recommend staying at this hotel. The only pro is that the hotel is right on Navarre Beach and we had a balcony facing the gulf coast. The beach is beautiful and a great place to relax. However there are many other hotels and rentals on the beach. The rooms are very dated, dirty and housekeeping is horrible. Management is pretty much non existent and the walls are paper thin.
