I came to Troon early one day and was waiting for the tide to go out before heading to the beach, to pass a hour I went around looking for a place to have lunch.
I came across the beach cafe by surprise, as l didn't even know it was here, I enquirer on what lunches they did, but sadly the day of lunches are long gone, all that they did was tea/coffee & biscuits and tray bakes.
This is a place that you must put on your must go to list, looked right out of a film set as if time had stopped.
I got talking to the lady that owned the shop who said that it has been in her family since the 1930's and it was only herself that worked the cafe now.
Was well worth visiting here for the nice cup of coffee & chat.
Will be back again to visit soon. read more
