When I learned of her mistake I went to beauty zone in person (less than 3 hours after her appt) and apologized for her behavior. She could not remember where she went or if she paid with card or the check I gave her (in case they didn't take a card). While at beauty zone, the person I spoke with said nothing about a no show fee. A couple days later I see a Mastercard charge from BZ for $165. I went there in person and learned that was their fee -- even though my wife dementia mistake occurred. I understand the inconvenience and money lost by the stylist. I also feel knowing the circumstances the charge is excessive. She paid $283 to the salon she dropped in on (thinking it was beauty zone) and now another $165 for nothing. This is a significant amount of money for retired seniors. The person I spoke with at beauty zone would not waive or reduce the penalty fee even knowing the dementia related rationale and my previous visit. We live in park city 3.5 months a year and will not be utilizing BZ services ever again. Want to bring this to other people's attention to be aware of this business practice.

I recently moved to Utah and was on a quest to find a place to get lash extensions. After reading…read morenumerous reviews (and not finding Jen!) I settled on Cherry Lash Lounge. Since I had nothing to compare it to, I thought they were great, just extremely overpriced and their lounge smelled like old cherry Chapstick. It was s bit nauseating, but they did do a great job for a whopping $179 for a set. They recently changed their hours and now close at 5:30pm. That doesn't work for me since weekends are always busy and I get out of work at 5. How inconvenient (not to mention the price that I seriously couldn't afford to keep up paying). Hence why I revisited yelp and found Jen! She is amazing! Simply the best. She blew my experience with Cherry Lash Lounge out of the water. I was skeptical about going to someone who worked from their home, but her professionalism and easy going nature made my worries melt away. Her spa is in her home and the ambience is so relaxing and clean. She also has two doggies which made my experience that much better because I love dogs, and you can always trust a person who loves animals...just saying. I had gone too long between fills since I had been traveling quite a bit, and she meticulously removed my old set and diligently applied my new one; and for a fraction of a price!! We went over in detail the look, length and thickness that I wanted and she totally nailed it. I have received so many compliments at work and from friends. It's been almost a week since my application and she has already texted to ask me how they are holding up! I thought that was incredibly thoughtful and really shows you someone who takes pride in their work. And not to mention they really are holding up beautifully. All in all I whole heartedly recommend Jen to everyone! I have yet to try any of her other services, but given my experience, I'd bet they are also exceptional!

Fresh Beauty is a spa, a little home away from home, a sanctuary to relax. Coming out of a long day at work, nothing would have made me feel better than some fresh Shellac on my nails. As I am always on this quest to find the best and brightest in town, I couldn't be more pleased to say Fresh Beauty is it! Nestled in Jen's residence, I called and scheduled an appointment for Shellac. When I arrived, I was so pleased with the location and felt comfortable in her home. Jen is a true professional; her set up is spotless and the products she uses are of the highest quality. Adding to Fresh Beauty's charm, they also support local with their [pictured] Salt of the Earth products. I was very happy with her color selection. Yes, it is possible to have different types of pink polishes; some are a little nuder, some are a little whiter, and some sparkle a little more... it was great! There's a color and a service for everyone at Fresh Beauty with not only nails, but waxing and facials too! I sat down and chat with Jen for what didn't seem very long, yet before I knew it, I had the most beautiful nails! Though I am not in Cottonwood Heights very often, I would consider making the drive to keep coming back. I have to say Jen offers her services with immaculate care. She is one of a kind and so is Fresh Beauty!
