I have attempted to contact this salon, however, there seems to be 3-4 phone number advertised. I have called at least 3, if not all 4. Recording was unprofessional, convoluted, too fast. Etc. The 2nd number called; the recording was a woman's voice who spoke so low, and the message so fast, I could not hear nor understand this message. The 3rd phone number was answered by a child. I could hear talking in the background, but no one even attempting to speak, and finally they hung up laughing. I would be interested in finding out why these phone numbers advertised do not work. The reviews are from 2017, 2020, 2021 etc. Previously, this was a very good Salon. What's the story? Sure makes me distrust the internet. read more

I walked in an over-blond, straggly, dry-haired mess, and walked out completely made over and felt amazing. So I had to write in. The salon's website and this Yelp review list are outdated -- this salon on Kearns, next to Auntie Em's, is getting an interior facelift, it feels modern, chill and bright with big windows, and has new management. I'm not sure about the hair loss stuff mentioned online -- I got a cut and full head of highlights and lowlights from Katherine a few days ago. She is truly amazing, She cut my hair in no time flat giving it a needed burst of life, and nothing I could have asked for or thought of, but only after taking meticulous care with the color. She seemingly channeled this loose vision I had of making my pale blond a darker blond closer to my natural, but with lighter blond and red highlights. It somehow looks natural and I really truly feel 20 years younger. And after all that dying, my hair feels healthy and silky and bouncy. I have no idea how she did what she did and I'm really not exaggerating. So I had to write in. Katherine's a magician with color, I really can't thank her enough. Apparently she's been cutting and coloring hair for decades including a stint in LA with celebs and etc, and cuts the hair for models and Parkite elites etc. My hair is no longer dull and limp, it's somehow shiny and the perfect color for my complexion and weirdly looks natural. My husband son and picky teen daughter were just like, Wow it looks great, not, whoa what did you do, even though it's pretty different. Highly recommend Katherine's services to anyone especially if you have a difficult, "I hate my hair," situation. She's got vision. read more

These people are the nicest in town. Now Big Larry is not any color/highlight/ whatever ladies do to their hair expert, but as a guy I can tell you for sure they give you a great haircut and great personalized service without the usual idiotic restrictions placed on the barbershops in Old Town by the short sighted City Council; I.e. They can wash your hair. I also get a color occasionally and they also do a great job. Plus once you go, they keep a book on you regarding your likes and dislikes, color choices and what have you. They are very busy during ski season so you gotta call ahead. Other than that, the best one I've found outside of SLC. Check 'em out. read more

Horray for Hair Solutions! Located off Kearns BLVD in the Kimball art center in park city (not to be confused with kimball junction!!) is a gem of a salon. My boyfriend gets his hair cut by McCall and Paisley and is super happy with the results every single time. Paisley does my eyebrows and she is amazing! She is extremely attentive to detail, funny, friendly, and does a great job on my brows. OMG - great little, friendly, competent hair salon. I was just passing through town for a couple of days before heading to high humidity Europe and wanted a Brazilian Blowout. I have many of these through the years, and this was by far the BEST. Amanda was my stylist and she was just wonderful and very personable. The time flew by for this lengthy process. She asked if I'd like a little body at the roots instead of flat out straight. No one ever gave me this option before. I love it and am so happy with the finished result. The stylist changed the color of my hair to a color I didn't know was possible. That was after a first try with a result that looked clownish. The end result was a mildew mud color. Called and asked to talk to the manager. Was told she would get back to me. I called again to no avail. Had an easy time getting an appointment, now I understand why. I got my hair cut here last year when i lived in Park City. I was on an internship and desparately need my hair cut prior to graduation. (i do NOT get my hair cut by just anyone, normally). I was hesitant...but i am SOOO glad i went here. I do not remember the woman name, but she was friendly, gentle, and knew what she was doing! i got an excellent hair cut..and would go back again... however, I am now home in the Bay Area and back to my hair dresser! The sign on the front should read "Walk-ins UNwelcome." Immediately ignored by the receptionist. I had to initiate the question as to how to get a haircut, by interrupting the receptionist picking away at her cell phone. The receptionist asked if I was here for "xxxx." I said no and that I was a walk-in. She gave me a blank stare and then went back to plucking away at her phone. The hair stylist overhearing the convo had to prod her to ask for my name. Worst Hair salon Service I have ever experienced. I came to get a simple Perm but, it fell out after 2 days. I came back into the salon to have it resolved but Paisley (who did the perm) did not put the customer first and admit she had done the perm incorrectly- as confirmed by the manager of this salon. I am so pleased that I found a local hair salon with good values, great service and friendly, unpretentious staff. Ali now does my hair: cut, color, extensions...the whole shebang and she's awesome. She takes her time and is very thorough. She recently did a high lift on my hair and moved my extensions up and it looks amazing for summer. I used to go to one of those snobby salons where they overcharged for sub par service by inexperienced hairdressers, the desk girl had a smart mouth and they took advantage of well-to-do locals...and they expected you to thank them for that kind of service. I've been meaning to write this for some time, and have finally gotten around to it. I took my daughter here in March for her first perm...she has very long, very straight hair that she was tired o,f and we decided a perm might be fun to try for some body and something different. They got us in quickly, and as they didn't often do perms the owner and the stylist conferred about it for quite a while. Sadly it didn't take. We called after a couple of days and they asked us to come back. Spent three hours redoing the perm which was gorgeous and stayed for over two months, and they didn't charge us for the second visit. Just wanted to be sure we were happy. They couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. We were just in PC for the winter, but I'd go back in a heartbeat if I was ever in the area again.
