I came to Dr. Ilagan, frustrated with the standard healthcare systems here in Central Florida and with the complacency these physicians possessed, to find a caring, nurturing practice with a focus on best-in-class preventative care! Not only was it life-changing for my physical health but my experience here has led me me to to a place in my life where I'm living at my most optimal capacity...I simply feel better every day! What Dr. Ilagan discovered for me was treatable with supplements so the regimen I've been on for the last two years has changed my physical, mental and emotional health significantly! Additionally, Dr. Ilagan and her team are some of the kindest, most thoughtful people I've met in a doctor's practice! They care about each patient deeply and see to my needs each time I visit. Lastly, a sign of a great doctor is the fact that I'm rarely in there. Dr. Ilagan keeps me in such incredible shape that I only see her once a year now! Thank you a million times WFH!!!

Accupuncturist: Dr. Candace Montoya…read more I have been very happy to work with Dr. Candy at Essential Mind and Body, where I have recieved many incredible accupunture treatments over several years time. I have found the sessions to restore a the flow of abundant energy, after sessions. It has helped me heal my body from several conditions and I find it promotes my overall health and well-being. Dr. Candy always takes the time to listen to my concerns and helpfully explains what acupuncture can do for me. Often times, I have benefitted from a B-12 shot in addition to regular accupunture treatments. If you have not yet tried this modality of healing, I find it is well suited to pair with chiropractic treatments and I credit both in helping me to feel better at age 52, than I did during most of my 40s.

OK, let's talk about the number one complaint that nearly everyone I've ever spoken to has about a…read morechiropractor and that is this: they work the same hours you do. Heaven forbid you ever get into a car accident but standard protocol is 2 to 3 visits per week for a couple months in order to reap the benefits of therapeutics. That's great and I'm a huge proponent of it but how on earth are you to go to a chiropractor that's open from nine to noon and then one to five when you have a job yourself working probably similar hours?? Well, if you ever thought this, and you probably have then allow me to introduce you to nightlife chiropractics. Dr. Merrill is a very well educated and personable doctor. I might add that he's the only chiropractor I've ever had that didn't meet me at the table crack me and leave. Every time I enter Dr. Merrill's office I said Desk we discuss what's been going on since the last visit and then we proceeded to Adjusting. It's a nice touch because after decades of seeing chiropractors, I've never had my adjustments inside the doctors office where we actually had this personable interaction. It's a nice touch. You say, what's this you go on and on about the hours of the practice. Well, that's where the name "nightlight" comes into play. Here's the greatest thing about the practice is that they're open from noon till 9 PM yes that's right folks. You can actually go to a chiropractor after work and not have to leave every single day to go to your appointment for two hours. I can assure you your boss does not like you leaving And it's a real pain to deal with at work. A friend recommended the practice to me and it's the best thing I've come across in a long time. I have no idea how I would make it to the chiropractor two or three times a week otherwise. One of the things I like most about the practice is that they have a treatment plan that includes therapeutic massage and I can't stress how much better spinal therapy works with massage manipulation. I was in a pretty horrible car accident and had significant damage. It took a couple months, but I started to Feel much better and I can attribute it to my therapy. Last, but not least the location is pretty darn convenient. It's tucked in the corner back in the corner of Kaylee and orange super easy to get to and they have parking. Enjoy.
