Bottom line--if you seek high-end designers at low costs, then get yourself to this sample sale…read more The next one is in December 2015. Come in comfortable shoes and a leotard or camisole with leggings, so you can try clothes on over light-weight garments. There are no changing rooms, and there's no dropping of trou allowed. Be patient and go through as many racks, shoes, handbags and pieces of costume jewelry as you can because there are plenty of hits, but as always at any sample sale, there are plenty of misses. Be sure to try on before you buy. Be sure to check for stains and wear and tear. Also, there is a mix of European, Australian and US sizes, so check the size labels carefully. The list of designer brands at this sale is like a red carpet designer role call at the Grammys or Emmys. Designer brands represented at the June 2015 sale include: Cynthia Vincent , Black Halo, Elizabeth & James, Alice Temperley, Rory Becca, Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, Manoush (love this French brand) , Robert Rodriguez, WISH, & Giambattista Valli to name just a few. I spent $200 at this sale and easily got over $1,400 worth of designer apparel ( if I had paid retail). One of the dress I bought retailed for $1,000 and I paid $100.00 for it. That's how good the sale is. The CLD staff working the sale were super friendly and even offered water while i shopped (as in got a little warm in the Bendix Building.) The staff even tried to help me find things in my size--which is unheard of at a sample sale--usually , it's every woman for themselves and there is NO customer service. The only reason I gave my review 4 stars instead of 5 is the venue. The Bendix Building space is a little past it's prime and there is a warehouse feel to this space that is undeniable. BUT, just expect the sale to be no frills shopping and a treasure hunt for top designers, and you won't be disappointed. Why shop H&M or Forever 21 when you can get better quality at this sale for about the same prices as the fast fashion retailers are charging. This sale should be on every savvy Los Angeles shopper's ( and OC too) pick list!

Marlan Warren is an amazing professional and I have had the good fortune to work with her on more…read morethan one occasion. Several years ago she coordinated all the publicity for my first book: ALL STORMS PASS: the Anti-meditations. She set up book signings, workshops, radio interviews, press releases she did everything! In the last year she has been working with me on the release of my second book and the promotion of my Life Coaching private practice. She has been particularly wonder in preparing, writing and editing the promotional e-mail newsletters that we send out weekly. Her contributions have been tremendous! The absolutely best thing about Marlan is her sharpness and truly brilliant mind. I have come to rely on her creative ideas, attention to detail and especially her unique insights and point of view about nearly everything. I can not recommend Marlan Warren enough and wish you too to be so lucky to enjoy the benefits of her work and process. --- Luke Benoit, Life Coach and Author.

Her review of my book really showed that she understood its strengths, and she always spoke from strong knowledge of what was possible in publishing and what was possible with my book. Hello, Yelpers*. My…read morename is Alfonso Faustino, and I am a SAG-AFTRA actor. Recently, I got picked up by RSA Entertainment and Talent Management, and it was one of the best things that happened to me, as an actor, in 2018. Here are some of the areas that RSA Entertainment and Talent Managment excel in: - Auditions: they work effectively to get me auditions. Brenda and Gina have excellent long-standing reputations and connections in the entertainment industry -- both film and television mediums. Each time I go to an audition, the casting director or producer mention they know Gina and Brenda very well and always have positive things to say about them. - Pitch Package: they are experienced managers; hence, they immediately worked on my primary casting circle and created pitch package that hones in my primary casting to my agent (theatrical and commercial), casting directors, and producers; - They work well with my commercial and theatrical agent (Park Artist Group) in making certain that my casting sends out a clear and concise message about my casting; - They return emails and calls in less than 24 hours -- frequently, Brenda or Gina will return my emails or calls within minutes, and they always have an answer for me in their first response; - They are Subject Matter Experts in the entertainment market -- they have years and years of experience in the entertainment industry, and their information is current and also cutting edge. They can anticipate and forecast changes in the industry and apply those changes to my casting; - They are a one-stop-shop: In addition to managing me as an actor, they have reputable and proven team members that manage social media marketing, traditional marketing, and public relations. If I go to a red-carpet event, they have a person that will manage me on the carpet or any media-related event I need to attend. - They are honest and ethical: Brenda and Gina don't tell me the stuff I wanna hear -- rather, they tell me the stuff I need to know. If I see my casting is one way, they will evaluate me, and support my direction if it is correct; or, they will tell me, "no way -- your casting doesn't support that direction at this time." - Workshops: Brenda and Gina will host workshops at their office designed to help me excel in the entertainment industry. - Good People: Brenda, Gina, and the rest of the team are good and genuine people -- they want to help their talent succeed -- they really want the best for their talent and best for their company. These are just several items that stand out in my recent and new experiences with RSA Entertainment and Talent Management. If you're in the market for new management, give RSA Entertainment and Talent Management a ring and schedule a introduction meeting.
