She said it had huge gashes and needed it. I told her under no circumstances use an electric grinder on my knives. I dropped off my 4 Miyabi knives, very expensive stainless steel, and they got ruined. I paid so much attention in making sure they are in perfect condition, and within a few careless minutes, this person scratched and deformed them. The store itself is on a main street with a fair amount of street parking and the store is super cute. The store sells a variety of kitchen gear from different knives, cutlery, utensils, etc. Most of the curated items are modern and high quality such as Durelex glass and Global Knives. While their prices are a little higher than online prices, they have quality stuff and I recommend buying from them. Their knife sharpening and repair was a life saver for me. The Chinese Cleaver is a large knife and they were able to get it done for me in less than a day and it was fully repaired. Looking at the photos you can see that they took out all the dings on the knife and sharpened it back to the point where I could use it again.
