I'm not entirely sure who is paying these so called "reviewers" but this is by far the WORST nail salon I've been to in my 20+ odd years of living. Went in last night after work because I needed a fill in badly and 1 of my nails flew off opening a car door; a nice young boy said he would do it. I thought cool especially since his hair resembled Goku's from Dragonball Z and he seemed nice. 2 minutes into the service, I realized he either didn't know what he was doing or rushing. Every 35 seconds (Yes I timed it) another guy came and stood over his shoulder with his jacket on and keys in hand...CLEAR indication he was waiting on the guy to finish my nails. So I asked, "How was your day" and his reply was "I'm just so tired"; I left it at that. Right before he was getting ready to tell me to go wash my hands, I noticed the length of my nails on each hand, were slightly uneven. I asked "So are you going to even them out or nah?" After 30 seconds of huffing, puffing, and throwing a tantrum in his seat, I had to inform him that if he's in a rush or outrageously tired, DO NOT attempt to complete my nails because I'm not paying full price for a 1/2 assed job; find someone else to do my nails, and I will still give you a tip. He was extremely rude and after catching another attitude with me because I asked to change the color when he painted the 1st nail, he asked if I wanted to pay now, which I didn't because I'm obviously smarter than that. He then proceeds to tell me my total is $21 when its only $16 for a fill in. He added on $3 to fix my broken nail(Is this the norm for Michigan?) + an additional random charge of $2 for "shaving down my nails"...my nails are still the same length so I told him I'm not paying for that. Long story short...do not settle for them doing a rushed job on your nails and be weary of the random fees for non-existent changes. I paid my $19 and left; read more

I will NEVER go to this place again!!! The service was horrible! Treated paying customer like crap. They were rude and very disrespectful. Won't even listen read more

I went here 2 times for an acrylic fill on my lunch hour due to convenience (right near my office). The first time I thought the quality was mediocre, and the second time was a terrible experience. The male nail technician was literally watching a foreign show on his phone AS he was doing my nails. He placed the phone against something so that it was facing him as he was doing my nails. He was paying more attention to the show then to my nails, so as you can assume the quality was terrible and he nicked my cuticles a few (painful) times. They had a misleading sign outside on the price of a fill (apparently on certain days at certain times). Also, they charge for cut down which I have never experienced at any other salon and I believe is ridiculous. My coworker and I occasionally come here for pedicures when we want to get out of the office and/or really need one. They do an ok job, however the pricing is inconsistent as they are always charging us different amounts for the same service. I would go here in an emergency situation if nothing else was available, however I am sure there are better options in the area. read more

I came in today for their Monday through Wednesday special, where they discount services due to it be a slower day. They were my go to nail salon, I only needed a fill in and he asked me if I wanted it to be trimmed down and said it was another $2, so where they give you a better price for coming in on the slower day they up charge you for what is part of the fill in. So when I told him no thanks, he literally did my 10 finger fill-in in five minutes from start to finish. So when I went home the fill-in already was peeling, and the top of my nails were somewhat course. I will never come to this place again! read more

Be nails doesn't even deserve one star. It was bad from the point I entered. I stayed because I was in a rush. That was a bad decision because the visit continued to go down hill. The nail tech got mad because I asked him not to drill my toes or nails. He got smart with me. I had to tell him you will not disrespect me to my face. I said I will never return; he said don't ever come back. I told him to watch his mouth. He proceeded with the pedicure. He cut corners, he filed my toes and hands to nubs even though I said I wanted to keep them long. He polished my nails 2 tone. It was all bad & I will never return. If you want respect, good service and what you ask for then don't go to Be Nails. They are the worst! read more

Went here a few times. Work is sub par. Do NOT like that they only speak in their language. Very rude. Will not go here again.

Eh, this place is a hit or miss. I go in almost every other saturday for shellac. Its only $20 and you get what you pay for. Sometimes I really like the polish, sometimes they apply it unevenly. I've never had a terrible experience, but this place certainly isn't the best. read more

Be Nails is the pits. I went there today for a pedicure. I had come here since 2013. I go twice a year. Each year the salon upkeep and service has gone down, down, down. Today, No one working the front desk, but an employee was doing make up on a customer. I asked her a question, she ignored me. There was no wait. My pedicure took only about 20 minutes, not much done. No soaking, no cuticles pushed, no lotion massage to my calfs and feet; just a little snip of my nails, a little scrub, then drying off with one of those nasty looking towels. I asked for a fan instead of the UVA lamp for drying my polish, but the guy didn't want to get me one. I decided to air dry my nails. I'm usually a very strong tipper because I believe those in the service industry should be tipped well when they are kind, friendly, and do good work. When they go over and above, I tip over and above. Not so with this guy. I tipped him 15% anyway even though he didn't deserve it. Two minutes later, he reappeared with a little fan. At this moment I'm at home, soaking my feet in T-tree essential oil and praying I don't develop a fungus. I'm pretty sure this guy don't clean any of his equipment. He grabbed clippers out of a caddy and threw them back in there after he clipped my nails. I will "Be Gone" and won't "Be Back" to "Be Nails." read more

I came to Be Nails because my regular place was too crowded. The staff seemed somewhat friendly and the shop is in a convenient location. However, I must also say that their gel color selections are very limited and old. Additionally, I felt that my services were rushed and that their tools were not clean. Unfortunately, I wont be back. read more

Went to this place on a whim.... big mistake. I originally went in for a mani and pedi, but after sitting for a total of 8 min for a pedicure in a broken chair engulfed in cigarette smoke, I decided to for go the manicure. The worst experience and biggest waste of money ever read more

This place isn't clean, they are not friendly, they don't talk to you, and they ask for money after you wash your hands. Which is very disrespectful I'm never going here again it looks like my five year old brother did my nails... And 30 dollars for shellac really? read more

HORRIBLE. Negative one star. I tried to give them a second chance. I just wanted my acrylics taken off. He ripped my nails off violently, made 3 fingers bleed and ripped one nail in half. My nails weren't even thin. Wouldn't let me wash my hands...unsanitary. So you want to put tools on my nails while I'm bleeding? DIDN'T EVEN OFFER ANYTHING TO MAKE UP FOR IT. I wish I could post the pictures. read more

I am from West Virginia and came to Michigan with my husband for training for his work. While he was in training I decided to get a fill in and a pedicure. I googled several places before I decided to go to Be Nails. It was very clean, great location, everyone was friendly and very affordable. If I am ever back in the area I will def be making another stop at Be Nails!!! read more

By far the worst nail salon I have ever been to. I asked for a french manicure and asked for a light color (light pink or beige). First the manicure consisteted of them filing my nails with an electronic file- that was it. No triming around the nail, no cuticle work. The filing was uneven on every nail. Then when they put the color on my nails I told him it was way too pink- electric pink, neon pink, a pink I have never seen before when getting a french manicure. He told me he would put another coat over this and it would make it lighter. After he did that and added the white to the tips of my nails it looked like something a 6 year old could have done. I asked him to just remove all the colors and I would be done. I had been there for 45 minutes and had to go. After all of that they still charged me $20 for the so called manicure- remember the one that involved the electrical file. Honestly, I get my nails done very often. HORRIBLE Service and HORRIBLE nails. I walked out with jagged nails and no color :(. read more
