I have not had a bad experience with the studio or any of the instructors! Diann was a favorite of mine! Her soothing voice and transition into each exercise, really made me feel at ease as well as worked out! She will be missed for sure! Each week I look forward to my next class and get excited! Haven't felt this way about exercise in a very long time!! Thank you Club Pilates!

I took the cardio sculpt Pilates. We used the mat, ball, weights, the reformer, band, and another equipment. The instructor was really good. This was my first experience with cardio sculpt, and the instructor made recommendations as needed for those with knee and shoulder problems. I was very happy and sweaty!

I arrived for my free…read more11am class and was greeted by the friendly receptionist (failed to get her name), and I had to sign a waiver first. She took us on a tour of the studio. It's a small but very comfortable space. I feel like it would never get too crowded here. I tried the Hot Core workout. It's a 30-minute workout in an infrared sauna room. You will SWEAT! there is a TV in the room that plays the video, and you are able to follow it at your own pace. Even if you don't do a certain move, they show, just taking a rest. You still are sweating, so it doesn't feel like you are missing out. By the time I was done, I felt like I had done much more than any other gym class I had ever done. I also love the fact that they do have an open weight room so if you don't feel like getting into the sauna, you can just go lift weights or use any of their other machines they have available. The price is super reasonable compared to other places. $50 a month for unlimited access to one studio of your choice or $80 a month for unlimited access to ANY studio location ANYWHERE! The best part is they are 24/7! You get your own code to be able to access it at any time!!!!! Now I don't have yo rush to try to make a certain class time. The best, and im excited to continue working out here!

I also love the online scheduling, payment, and the huge variety of classes offered. Can I also just point out how few studios in the area offer Saturday classes or evening classes? Folks have to work, you know! Luckily, Alternative Fitness Pilates has that covered. The prices are very fair, if not less expensive, in comparison to other studios in the area. Right now, they have a special with 50% off the first class for new members. The staff and the other people who go here are super friendly and helpful. I also appreciated that truly all ages/level of fitness are welcomed with appropriate modifications added.

I love and adore this place, the people that teach here and the people that go here. Myself I've always been active in one way or another in my life (background in dance, kickboxing, biking, blading, Zumba instructor, etc.) so I am quite picky when it comes to getting a workout of any kind. I want to be satisfied mind and body. My hubby was the one that found this little place. I thank him every week for finding it and for the packages he gets. I feel like I belong there. Melissa is just about the greatest owner/teacher I could have ever met. They have so many classes to choose from! They offer so many different mat classes & apparatus classes (Pilates machines). Personally haven't tried the apparatus ones yet, maybe later this year. I also enjoy that you have to sign up online to purchase classes and to sign up for them. Only a certain number of people per class so they don't let them get out of control with people due to the space. THANK YOU!!!! This is my place. It keeps me feeling good (even if I wake up & don't feel like going. I feel like a million bucks the rest of the day) and I always look forward to the next class.

I love the format -…read moreclasses for 12, direct adjustment from instructors when needed and a clean and calm place to work on my strength. I had encouragement early on in my journey from the staff directly via text and got tips on the best way to schedule. All classes start and end on time. I have taken classes from 5 different instructors and they are all very well trained and give a consistent workout. Because the classes are small (12 people) it may be hard to get in, so i suggest the unlimited class membership. You can easily book out classes for a few weeks and you can also waitlist for classes. I know there are some reviews about issues with getting into classes on a month to month basis. I think it's worth the upgrade to unlimited. I have had ZERO issues booking classes. The staff is available for any questions. I highly recommend Club Pilates South Charlotte.

Also this is meant to provide constructive feedback in hopes that management/area director and leadership at Lifetime read this- finally these are constant grievances of mine, others on this feed and I have been a member for more than 3 years. Additionally, I've experienced the brand new top shelf Lifetime in Cary NC...world of difference in service, equipment (of course new) , AND true spa like feel in the men's locker room...down to lockers have 'bumpers' on them so when they are shut they are quiet. 1. NOISE! Men's spa area is so loud I have to wear airbuds to escape the constant yammering of others in the steam and sauna. 2. Tired Equipment and in consistent amenities- I joined for the quality of equipment and mainly access to steam and dry sauna- Equipment is worn out...bikes, cable machines, benches, accessories for gym equipment in general need replacement. Machines sit dormant waiting for repair often...and Steam room is constantly inconsistent and temperatures in dry sauna are below recommended temps. Did I also mention how LOUD it is in the 'Quiet Area.' 3. Towel service is 1 STAR....and unacceptable. Last night and many days/nights the shelves in the locker area are bare with NO TOWELS....I literally had to walk the locker room to find a clean towel to dry off with. 4. Family Friendly. YES! It should be...but now that school/college is on summer break the gym experience is fraught with kids being kids.. from locker room to gym floors...absolute chaos... 5. Showers- The entire shower area is a mess a lot of the time, but especially last night....walk into a shower and someone left towels inside stall....No attendants cleaning up or restocking towels...counters full of water, etc. NOT A PREMIUM EXPERIENCE! I truly enjoy investing in my health and consider Lifetime a splurge in my budget....BUT I continually leave shaking my head at the level of service...quality...and inconsistency....even the 'simple things' from a staff person, like Have a good night...hope you had a nice workout. It would be nice to have persons on the floor assisting 'newbies' with workout tips or offering assistance in using the equipment.
