This man claims to be an expert in cuckoo clocks. I brought my clock to him six months ago. The clock worked, the sound worked, but the bird wouldn't go in and out. He said he could fix it. I had to call him repeatedly. Mostly, he wouldn't answer and he always had some story about hospital visits. I finally retrieved my property from him and it was a mess. It was disassembled and I got the clock back in pieces. Some parts were missing, the clock was dirty, and he fiddled with the speaker, which was working, until he mis-wired it and it burned out. Says it's working fine when obviously not. Says it needs servicing. How much? About $300 for proper machine cleaning. $230 for cheaper method. How much just to fix issue? $200 Tries to explain that he charges a lot because he takes time. His hobby not his job. How much to open it up and see what the problem is and give me an estimate? "You already owe me $65 to meet you and see the watch. If you leave it with me, I'll include that amount" I say no, nothing like that was mentioned. "You owe me something now". BC Watch Repair came up when I googled "Engraving". I took Mohamed 4 Ferrari connecting rods for engraving for a craft project I was doing. He said he could do upper case block letter engraving and his wife said he is a perfectionist. He was to send me a picture for my review after doing the first one. He phoned a few days letter and said ALL had been done. I reminded him that he was to send me a picture after the first. He said he had been too busy. I then asked him to send me a picture of one of them. THE ENGRAVING IS AWFUL. WORST I'VE EVER SEEN. Looks like it was done by a child. He ruined 4 valuable connecting rods. He was defensive and became evasive. He failed to return phone calls, text messages or my ruined connecting rods. No storefront to go to as he works out of a residential apartment. My advice: DON'T ENTRUST YOUR VALUABLE POSSESSIONS TO THIS MAN. IN MY OPINION HE IS HIGHLY INCOMPETENT AND CANNOT BE TRUSTED. read more

I purchased watch items on Ebay. First item I won, he cancelled before I could pay. Next order I won, a group of Pocket Watch cases for almost $1000 US dollars. I won and paid. That day I emailed Mohammad and got no answer, I then looked on line for his phone number,. Called the "shop" Not a shop but an apartment in which his "wife" screens his calls. Finally he answers and gives me some crazy story. Hi x-wife, stole his ID and set up fake paypal accounts, and he never received my money and he will call me back. He tells me yes the lot is "right in front of my eyes." I will call paypal and get back to you. Never called me back, I called him back and he said Oh make a claim for my money back from paypal. Then once you get your money back we can do a deal outside of ebay. Basically he took my money, never intended to send me anything. He is a conman. According to all of the posts he cannot be trusted. According to others he knows how to change batteries. Check out all of his Facebook and u tube posts. He cannot be understood. Looks drunk and has no clue, other than to steal from people. Not a watchmaker or repairman but a scammer con artist. So he used my 1000 dollars for three or four weeks. I am in the process of getting my money back from pay-pal. DO NOT GO!! Our half-grandfather clock stopped ticking. Took it to BC Watch Repair in January 2015. After two and half weeks at BC Watch Repair was called to get the clock. When I went to get it, I thought the dial (clock face) looked different but I couldn't figure out how. It had been more than two weeks since I had seen the clock and most of the time I listened to the clock tick and chime. I never really LOOKED at it. Went on vacation, came back and still thought something was different about the dial. In August, my older sister was visiting us and said the number 3 on the dial was different. I then looked through family photo albums for a photograph of our clock and realized our original dial had been replaced when it was at BC Watch Repair. Went back to BC Watch Repair with my brother. The predicted happened. The owner, Mohammad B. denied changing the dial and he and his wife started shouting at us. They called the police and I willing told the officers about why we were there. read more

The owner told me they do for approximately $15-$20, but will be out and to stop by anytime after 3 in the afternoon. At around 4 I meandered my way over in the pouring rain to find myself waiting outside an apartment building with no signage or indication that I was in the right location. After trying their phone with no answer, I decided to buzz the suite number. I was then told by a woman that an appointment was needed, relaying a message from the owner that I could hear in the background that they had no space on their working table either. I asked what they wanted me to do only to realized the intercom was cut off. I left and found a beautiful jewelry store on 41st that helped me, happily, and they charged me under $10. read more

I sent a Seiko in because it was running erratically. BC Watch Repair said they cleaned it and oiled it and were going to send it back. I reminded them that it was running but stopping randomly and they decided to keep it for a few days to see if it was still doing it. A week later I contacted them and they said they needed a few more days. He later said it was a hairspring problem and he fixed it and it ran for 22 hours without stopping. Within 1.5 hours after I got it the watch had stopped twice. They suggested I wind it and see if the problem persisted so I tried that. Six hours and it lost half an hour. Took my antique Rolex in with a broken hairspring as it would not wind any longer. (A common fix for these watches) I paid $400 but it wasn't fixed correctly. I took it back 5 times over the next year and it got worse each time. After the last time, it didn't work at all and Mohammed said he could not fix it. I took it to two reputable dealers who looked at it and said it had been destroyed with wrong parts put in it, some damaged parts and lots of non-Rolex parts. Some of the parts that were damaged, you can no longer get. It was so messed up that they were no longer able to repair it. I had to sell it for parts to re-coupe my repair costs. Bottom line my $5000 watch was destroyed. Maybe if you need a new battery or crystal replaced on your inexpensive watch take it here but if expensive go elsewhere. read more
