Great service and nice location off Westheimer, to the right of the street if your heading east. I frequent smoke shops and stop at one every time I see one to browse their items. This smoke shop's hookahs are overpriced without reason. We went to get my cousin a hookah and a vape pen. He sold my cousin a hookah that is worth $65 at best for like $115. For $115, she could have gotten one of the larger ones at another smoke shop. My cousin paid more for hers than I did for the one I got from Vegas smoke shop off Hwy 6 and mine was only $75 and is much better quality as far as the parts and assembly. But the vape pen I got from them is working like a charm. read more

Total rip off. Prices are way high (due to COVID) and there are always teenagers in this place when it should be 21 and up. Staff was condescending because I am over 50 and the young people there blew their chance at selling anything to me. Why all the kids in here? So I'm not a big smoker, but I recently bought a hookah from another local smoke shop. Unfortunately for them though, BC is one of the only smoke shops open late on Sundays. I was totally out of shisha, and I drove past this spot plenty of times. Even though I'm not a big smoker, I was so impressed with selection of items they had. From glass, to tobacco, to pins, and different brands of shisha - it really seems like the kind of smoke shop that can support ANYONE'S needs. When I stopped in, I already knew what kind of shisha I normally buy but they actually had a few different brands. The employee (wish I could remember his name) was extremely kind and helpful. Hands down the best. There are a lot of places you go into that feel like they are either too sterile or too dirty. This place is just perfect. I went with a friend of mine who was looking for a pipe. I watched the way the people that worked here interacted with him. They were chill, and nice. They were informative and knowledgable. They knew everything about the glass blowers and the quality of their merchandise. They helped him pick out what he needed, and they were joking with him the whole time. The guy also banged the pipe on the case to show how thick it was. I stood next to him and he was trying to ask me which one was better. Not a smoker myself, I was just basing it off of which one was prettier. I told him that maybe he should bang that one too, so he did. I was joking but it was still funny that he did it again. I want to start by saying that BC has a good selection of glass. I've bought many pieces from them over the years, and most of their items are hand blown American glass, which I appreciate. Here is why I only give them a 1 star; I understand in todays day and age, it's almost impossible for brick and mortar stores to compete with online retailers. Brick and mortars generally have a reasonable markup, and cost more than online stores, but I'm happy to pay it because BC is a one stop shop as far as selection goes. I needed a torch on a Sunday night and they were open so I went in to grab one. I am a novice with torches and their use (wink) so I didn't have a price reference when I went in. I saw the Blazer GT8000 on the shelf and purchased it as I'd heard good reviews, it cost $90. To my horror, after my curiosity peaked, I checked Amazon to find that the going rate is $45!! That means, BC smoke shop is marking up some items over 100% of the going rate, and who knows how much of a % markup it is over their costs! WHAT A COMPLETE AND TOTAL RIPOFF. There is no ethical reason for any item to be marked up so high. Those items are there for unsuspecting customers to come in and purchase, no questions asked. They are in a popular area with company buildings nearby, and their sales reps have themselves told me that they have a large customer base of older professionals. What this tells me is that, they are preying on those less than tech savy individuals who have no reference point for price from online and local retailers! I feel ashamed that I feel for their scam, as someone who should have known better! Don't make the same mistakes I did. As consumers we should not reward stores that are robbing us blindly, and boldly at that. If you want to reward a store for robbing you, BC is the shop for you, if not, I'd take my business elsewhere. read more

Well let me start by saying that we were in need of a new pipe and the whole reason we went to bc was b/c of sarah's review and she was right on. The atmosphere is so comfy and home-like when you walk in, right down to the yellow submarine cardboard cutout that literally "hasn't moved in 10 years" - Mike. The glass selection is absolutely beautiful and its nice to hear that they support local artists. The thick pipes are awesome. He did something I've never seen before in a shop, he banged the pipe as hard as he could on the wood top of the case, and the pipe didn't break. Between the free lighters that proclaim that bc is THE DANK, a pipe smashing, great music, great service, great prices, and great selection there is no reason to NOT shop at BC.
