I go into this store trying to buy a certain item and another customer looked interested so I told him how great they were while waiting for the owner to finish at check out. The Guy who was helping me let him know that I had a question about it and the owner decided to speak loudly to me across the store asking me what I wanted after the other customers left!!! I was so shocked at the DISRESPECT, I ask my guy is he talking to me? I didn't reply I just had to LEAVE!!! He said he wasn't worried about me as a customer because Helix sells fine as You can see! I SAID..... IM BASICALLY THE ONE WHO SOLD IT! I'm sure if you "look" white you wouldn't have a problem here because I seen it first hand ass kissing!!! It's FUNNY BECAUSE WE DIFFERENT RACES YET ALL BROWN, the workers, the owner, and myself! So disappointed!!!! Messed up my day man, I was happy! I just got over post pardon!!! read more

Smoke Dreamz - Tobacco Shops Near Me - Houston, Texas

What a super cute little store. I was expecting to walk into a nasty head shop that smelled horrible , had grotesque things for sell and was full of snot nosed kids making jokes. Instead I was greeted by the smell of wonderful incense, by the sound of relaxing music and the smiles on the men behind the counters. They were both really helpful and friendly. They made recommendations and explained subtle things that I didn't understand. I enjoyed their selection of things and was surprised to find they had a really nice selection of some of my favorite shishas. Even the other knick-knack type things like budda statues and posters were classy. I would say this is the best head-shop I have ever been into. read more

I'm rating this almost purely on service. I went to both the Montrose and this location - it is family run, and I talked to brothers at both locations. They were helpful, honest, and patient. I was in the market for a hookah and had a ton of questions that were all answered. I didn't even buy anything! I'll be back when I'm ready - I'd much rather take my business to people who give a shit as opposed to some online wholesaler that would take 3 months to replace a broken product or something. read more

This is my go to smoke shop it has everything you need and more and what I like most is their knowledge on all their products and know what they have and what it's for which is a must if you work at a smoke shop aside that their service is impeccable ! So nice and courteous ! And the prices are to liveeee for ! It's a family run business and I'm always greeted promptly. And so clean and organized. Love love love read more

I bought two E-go e-cigs from Smoke n Toke at I-10 and Wilcrest. Both of them cracked in less than four weeks. I went to Smoke Dreamz yesterday to replace the top pieces and it quickly became clear that staff at Smoke n Toke were not very knowledgeable about e-cigs. Even worse it became obvious that they ripped me off. Smoke n Toke sold me what they claimed were E-go e-cigs. But instead they were cheap knock offs - they didn't even have the E-go logo on anything. Luckily a friend recommended Smoke Dreamz and the couple who helped me gave me full instructions on how to use my REAL E-go e-cig and how to tell the difference between E-go brands and imitations. They even showed me that the e-cigs from Smoke N Toke were considered disposable because the wicks were not replaceable. (Another fact I didn't know.) They very nice as well. I was coughing a little because my throat was scratchy and one of the ladies was kind enough to get me a glass of water. I definitely recommend Smoke Dreamz and I will definitely be visiting Smoke Dreamz again. read more

I was curious about e-cigs so i checked out smoke dreams. The salespeople were extremely helpful. They helped me pick out an e-cig, explained how to use it, and recommended brands and supplies. The salesperson told me that if i used the e-cig for one week, and then, tried a regular cigarette that I would no longer like regular cigarettes. Big claim since I have been a 2 pack smoker for over 20 years. As doubtful as I was I must say they were 100% right. I just smoked a regular cig and hated it. I cannont thank Smoke Dreamz enough. Rarely are such bold claims accurate. read more

Wow, this place has an amazing selection. You name it they have it. They also have amazing customer service as well, those working there are very knowledgeable and very very friendly, but they are in the business of making money and sometimes that includes ripping off people. Yikes! I asked one of the guys working there how much a Da Bhudda Vaporizer would be, he said $229, just for comparison, the retail price is 159.99 for the silver and 179.99 for the black. I could understand a $10-20 markup for convenience but $50- $70 is a plain rip-off. Thank god I did my research and looked at prices, there was a poor uneducated soul who did end up making the purchase while I was at the store and was ripped off to oblivion. Though in all fairness, pretty much every smoke shop does this practice so be sure to haggle with the gypsies that work there. read more

So it wasn't my first visit to SmokeDreamz and definitely won't be my last!! . I made it in about 20 minutes before they closed but I didn't feel like I was being rushed or like a nuisance at all. Kevin was the man!! He was informative, honest and very willing to answer all my off the wall questions! I explained my situation honestly and was not judged at all. Instead I felt like I had found my 'Cheers'!!! The pricing was great and I was confident about my choice, paid up and fully informed(even with a 'just call me if you need any further information") shout from Kevin as I left...in under 20 minutes! I feel like the employees there really care about the customer and that they believe in what they do and what they promote. The vibe is 'family' and for all these reasons, I'll be back! Thanks Kevin and the people at SmokeDreamz for everything! read more

First time here tonight, super friendly staff! Helped more than my bf did. this place looks pretty clean and organized. And they have bright lights, unlike other smoke shops that have super dim lighting. And they stay open a little later than most which is good for me. Thanks for the pipe! read more

Update: got muh micro g pen and simply love it!!!! So much so that I've convinced 3 friends to buy one of there own after trying mine out and blasting their faces off. Great store all around, they have very nice pieces and all the gadgets, vapes, and accessories you can want prices aren't too shabby either. I wanted to buy a micro g pen yet did not want to have to go online and have to wait on shipping so after shopping around found that smoke dreamz had the best price. I called up the location and confirmed they had one in stock but when I showed up sadly they did not, so the clerk called another location and asked if they had one in stock and they did. So a quick drive down 59 and they have one waiting for me along with a free "ceramic tank" which they sell for $20 a pop. So all in all very happy read more

I absolutely love smoke dreams! I go to this store whenever I can. Sometimes it's to buy some of their merchandise and the other times it's just to talk to the family. No matter what walk of life you are these people will definitely make time to talk to you. They answer all of your questions the best way that they can and if they don't know they will try to figure it out for you. Anytime I have not been able to understand something I buy they ask me to bring it back in and they will explain it. This is a great company and it is the ONLY company I buy incense, papers, etc from. The store is set up very nicely and everything is easy to find. They have posters, jewelry, books, etc. No matter what you are looking for they will have it. read more

I went here because a close friend said they offer good prices per item. They charged me $17 for a 15ml bottle of vape juice with 0 niccotine. $8 more than avg anywhere. They're cool people but be wary of the "deals" Peter stpetertran@gmail.com read more

Houston seems to suffer from a deficiency in willing liberal expressionists in that there are a disproportionate number of establishments in the realm of lifestyle shops in relation to the population. I live in Austin where shops like this one are plentiful so while I'm surprised there aren't more in Houston, I am pleased to know there are a few, solid, informed, and available shops like this one. read more

I love going here to get my shisha supplies. Jason is always there and very friendly. Even if they are out of shisha, they will order it for you or make sure you get something good during the wait. Prices are good and it is always a pleasure to stop by and say hello the family. read more

Good people, great service. I go here to purchase e-fluid or "e-juice" for vaping. They are very friendly and although the price was little more than what I would pay online, the convenience of going down the street vs. waiting at the mailbox, plus how kind they are, make's it worth to support this shop. read more

'Top-notch' is the only way to describe every experience I've had at Smoke Dreamz. Jason is a welcoming, charismatic, and fair shop owner. Excellent inventory and knowledgeable staff are the reasons why I come here almost exclusively. In a city full of generic shops, Smoke Dreamz is a stand-out! read more

. Loyalty. A scarce commodity, so Bet that when speaking about Their prices given and quality. when it comes to glassware they are hands down the premiere head shop in greater Houston. read more

The staff is friendly, and they've definitely got a warm family like vibe. But I'm giving a low review because I feel like I've been scammed. The two times I've been to this location the employees were sure to ask me, "What's your price range?" Alone, this isn't that unusual. But then I noticed they keep the price tags on everything hidden. You'll NEED to ask to check their items out just to get close. Even then, the grinder I was looking at I couldn't touch. The employee showed it to me and made sure not to show me the bottom. Where the sticker was. When he rang me up for the grinder, I noticed their cash register was the kind where you can just punch in any price. I can't believe I was about to spend $40 on such a small grinder. But it's okay. Because the guy assured me, "These are really high quality." That was me being sarcastic, by the way. The quality of the grinder was alright though, however for the price I know I could've bought a bigger one elsewhere. The icing on the cake was while bagging it, he removed the price tag so now I'll never know what the actual price was suppose to be. I would guess around 25-30. But I was already in a pinch for time, and had to get this for a late Christmas gift. The bottom line is, this place was just too scammy for me to return there. They should be more transparent about their prices. read more

They way over charge you on vaping kit, suggest buying online rather than this store!

Love this place for all my smoking novelties. They always have the best selection and prices.

The best smoke shop bar none. Everyone was super friendly and helpful and made me feel like part of the family. If I could give it 20 Stars I probably would. read more

I was recently in Smoke Dreamz and have not been more satisfied with the friendliness, patience, knowledge and willingness to help from any other staff I have run across. Jason was there and taught me how to use the product that I purchased and when I was unsure about the results he reached out to me and explained the reason behind the results. I then went in 2 days after and met other employees which I believe were family members to Jason. They were as friendly and also seemed to be as knowledgeable. I used to go to a competitor down the street for my needs, but I will only go to Smoke Dreamz going forward and will def refer anybody I know to them. Overall the experience was great, so great that I had to YELP about it (something I have never done)!! Keep up the great work and thanks again....... read more

Not a good place to shop vapor juice, it's quite expensive, the lady manager she lied about the juice quality and sold me very nasty juice. Because it was sealed I could not smell it or try it. Anyway I will not buy any products from this store again. read more

Jason at the Richmond location was extremely courteous and knowledgeable about his products. I've been to some smoke shops where the employees think they are too cool for school and kinda act like you are bothering them. The store is also very well kept, clean and organized. Top notch smoke shop! Jason really knows his stuff. I've been using Smoke Dreamz since they opened and I used to work across the street at T-Town 2000 which is now Stereo Live I believe. I recently moved to the area and have been searching for a new place to buy shisha tobacco for the hookah I bought my wife. I generally shop online from an Austin based distributor that I have had great experiences with, but wanted to go somewhere in person where my wife could smell the different flavors. I went in the store after purchasing a voucher on living social. I found the shisha section in the back on the right and had to wait for some people that were just hanging around to get out of the way (no big deal). I figured since I had a half off ($40 value for $20) voucher that there would be a mark up of some sort, but I was shocked--Al Fakher shisha was marked $10 over regular retail price ($12.99), almost doubling the price. The other brands had similar mark ups. I would have left without purchasing anything, but had already bought the living social voucher after seeing the positive reviews the business had. I came from D.C. and it is crazy to me that anything in Houston is more expensive than D.C. After using my living social voucher I still paid more than I would have back in D.C. Because of that I definitely won't be back and couldn't recommend this business to anyone. All that being said, the strength of this establishment, like other reviewers have commented, is the customer service. The family that runs the store is very outgoing and talkative, quick to apologize for any perceived issue (like a minimal wait), and generally pleasant and friendly. They definitely made a good impression and strive to please. The store also appears more focused on stoner culture than shisha and this review relates strictly to shisha. It may very well be an awesome establishment for weed oriented smokers--it certainly had a wide selection of related items and incense. read more
