The facility is well-lit and accessible any time using a customer access code. It seems a bit pricey but the quality is better than any other storage facility I've viewed in Victoria. I would have preferred that they bill on a monthly basis, but they use a 4-week billing schedule. What that means is that you make 13 payments per year instead of 12. I would also love if they would introduce smaller storage units. Their smallest unit is 5 feet by 5 feet.

The place is clean, professional looking, has lots of security features so you know your belongings are safe. There was a slight change in the charge for the month that we noticed later on, but the lady who helped me was friendly and accommodating at getting it sorted. Access is easy as well - you can drive up to the loading doors and they have large trollies to use. Once we cleared out our things, the process was easy and once again, exceptional staff. My son hired a motorcycle trailer this morning (15th August 2024) which we used for approximately 2…read more1/2 hours. No problem with paying the agreed rate. But U Haul charged for an adaptor for the brake lights - I have never had to buy a new one - other U Haul depots 'always' provide one as part of the rental. When we returned the trailer there was a huge line up as the system was down. Understand this - it happens. BUT the staff were dreadful. Unhelpful and rude. They advised us to leave the trailer and that when their system was 'up' they would process the rental. I don't trust these people. We have taken a time stamped photo of the rental on its return. So lets see if the terrible people try and scam us. There are lots of other good rental people around. U Haul Sidney are excellent unfortunately they did not have a motorcycle trailer to rent.

Update to my previous review:…read more I've started opening Rubbermaid containers thinking that at least these items would be spared. Nope. The contents are damp and moldy and stink. How does this even happen? My daughter's dad died in 2014, and I kept many items of his for her. Ruined. His law degree looks like a child's paint by numbers. Also destroyed are love letters and wartime photographs and many other items that belonged to my grandparents that were also in sealed containers. The clothes my daughter came home from hospital in are destroyed along with most of the mementos I kept. These were in containers as well. I'd now say one-tenth of items stored can be saved. They stink, but at least there's something left.
