I tried it at the Hopscotch Festival, it was deliciousness personified and I desperately want to spread it through my family. Unfortunately, it also seems like something that is difficult to find (not a huge demand yet). It was here, in a 6-pack or a case. And they have a 4-pack of Somersby's Blackberry cider! It's like a little liquor heaven! But really, product blah blah blah. I'm going to recommend you go to this place because of the amazing service I received. The clerk actually said "hello" cheerfully when I walked in. I KNOW. Outside of Japanese restaurants, a cheerful "hello" seems to be dying out. Not only that but when I asked her about the Taiwan Beer (I wish I knew her name; she didn't have a tag on), she was pure helpfulness. When I decided on the case (I mentioned that I want to infect my family with its deliciousness, right?), she picked up the case for me and brought it to the counter. I've NEVER had a clerk do that for me. They're usually standing there, watching me fumble clumsily with it, juggling everything plus my purse. The transaction itself was quick and friendly and then she carried the case to my car. I had added a tip to the cup but at that point, I wish I had added much more. Liquor stores are a dime a dozen; good service is worth its weight in gold. Definitely recommend.

Then I met one of workers who helped me out and gave me a wealth of knowledge about everything from whiskey to sake. I wish I would've grabbed his name, but unfortunately I didn't. Although it is a bit pricier than the states, there were some pretty good sales going on. Plus the store is super organized and offers everything from local Canadian Staples like Molson Canadian beer, craft beer from local breweries, whiskey's and sake's and everything in between. Only downside is a bit lacking on the mixers. Highly recommend coming here.

Once I entered the store was pleasantly greeted by an attendant Jess and she was super helpful recommending an array of beers, wine, and spirits from their vast selection. Being an independent liquor store they offer unique international alcoholic wine and spirits you cannot find at your local BC Liquor stores. The store is so new that their payment system is not even set up to collect the deposit fee which is an extra bonus. YVR employees get a 10% discount on everything in the store and they offer a members reward program (no membership fee) which earns 1% on every dollar spent (example: spend $500 = $5 reward towards next purchase).

He had a paper in his hand and I knew he was in the middle of something. Regardless, he answer my question about a wine for my boss and made a recommendation. Disappointed, I mentioned that unfortunately the wine was sold out. He ask me if I could wait a couple of minutes while he was going to get three bottles of his recommendation that had jut arrived. I mean, this is the definition of goin above and beyond. In the mean time Angelo, another staff that happened to be restocking the BC wines was also helping me. I want to say this is the best liquor store with the most helpful, kind, and knowledgable staff. I then asked Jerry, at the cashier if it was possible to speak with the Supervisor. Jerry very kindly called the supervisor and took me to her. Candy, was the Supervisor in turn and she was so appreciative for the acknowledgement I expressed about the unparalleled service at this store. Craft beer from around Canada and the world can be found here! I was already sold on this place at this point. I then found out about their beer club. The beer club is amazing. Once you join the club you get discounts at the liquor store as well as options to preorder hard to find craft beer before it goes on the shelves. The real kicker is that every two months they put together a box of 8-10 hard to get craft beer for members costing about $60. This is a great deal as it gets you to try different beer from all over Canada and the World. This box also comes with tasting notes for all the beer that you receive that also includes food pairing notes! They just send you a message saying that it will be ready for pick up on a certain day and you go and pick it up! The store is clean and has an easy layout with plenty of parking. Items are labeled by the country and they have many from around the globe. We saw products from the usual suspects; Ireland, Japan, China, Mexico, Scotland, etc. Along with some others not so well known such as New Zealand, Canada, South Africa, and the USA (#2) There was an extensive selection of items that were chilled, which was clutch. We needed wine, canned cocktails, and anything strong. We snagged these and a few more. Prices were fair and the store stayed open later than most businesses in the parking lot.
