Sooo, I remove the pane, and drive the 30 miles to Cedar. Went to another glass place on Main, and I stood around the lobby for about 10 minutes before somebody came out to help me. They had a definite " you ain't from around here" attitude, wanted $130 to fix the window, and were "to busy" to "maybe" fix it that day. so I left. Found Jones Glass & Paint on Google, and was immediately greeted like they were happy to see me, fixed the window in an hour, and only charged me $75. I also discovered that they sell Dunn Edwards paint! I used to have to bring it with me, as it wasn't available in Cedar City. It is the most durable and easy to apply paint I have found- lasts 8- 10 years on the outside wood siding on my cabin! What more can I say? Excellent service, great products, and fair prices. 5 stars for sure.

And each time, they were not able to get the claim to go through. So when mountain home remodeling came, I expected a similar result. The salesman that we worked with was very friendly and seemingly knowledgeable. After some inspections and back and forth with our insurance company, it turned out that our claim was approved. We were prepared to move forward, but hesitated because we noticed that mountain home remodeling had next to no online presence. They had two one star Yelp reviews in Maryland, an account in home advisor that home advisor explicitly stated they did not recommend the company (along with a handful of old mostly positive reviews) and their website listed Maryland as their location yet their paperwork to us showed a cedar city address. Something didn't seem right. We expressed our concern and were promptly contacted by the owner. He provided contact information for some clients in Utah that he had done work for. I got in touch with a couple and they had good things to say. We decided to give them a shot, and the job pretty much went without a hitch. The owner Keith is a nice, and very persistent guy, but there weren't really any issues. He was always quick to respond to any issues we had. I really think their company should work on getting reviews local to Utah and updating their website, but regardless, if you are contacted by them, you can rest assured they are legit

I had indicated early on to Mountain Home Remodeling that it was a slim chance of approval, based on previous feedback. They said they specialize on pushing these through. They were persistent and got the approvals we needed. The work came out great. There was some staff turnover that resulted in a little hiccup. It happens, but that's the only reason for the 4/5 review.

The price he quoted was very reasonable and lower than a previous quote I received from another company. We have had a chronic leak in our roof (when we get a hard rain) over the past 8 years. It has resulted in extensive ceiling damage. We have had three repair companies attempt to fix the problem over the past eight years, but to no avail. There were a couple of vents that needed to be added to exhaust the roof. He mentioned the situation (no roof vents) but did not try to upsell me on them. I did authorize them, but I felt no pressure, only to help with the excess heat issue. Tanner is an excellent choice for roofing needs, and I will recommend him to all my friends and family!
