Best real Mexican tacos in town. We got carne asada, chicken and al pastor. Every one was delicious and so good. They are very authentic and so amazing. The beans and rice were also very good. I can't believe this place is only a little trailer in Boulder City. They would be amazing as a full restaurant. We ordered then sat in the car until it was ready. Every day they have a different special and it's pretty cheap too. You wouldn't think you would find amazing Mexican food in Boulder City but it's truly the best.

Not often give five star reviews. BC Dam Tacos been deserving of five stars for all the right yelp reasons. BC Dam Tacos known of before they even on yelp. I know should have created one but wanted keep it secret. Shout out goes to friend Rich found it one day cycling in Boulder City. One day group ride instead of hydration refill had taco break. The first time had street taco really been nothing come close. Amazing. Why five stars! Food huge fan of street tacos! I have had half of the options on the menu. The carne asada, al pastor, and shredded tacos the top three for me. Really not one could go wrong with for street tacos. All the meat are cooked to perfection. So SO much flavor in all of them. Really no need kill it with salsa. Both salsa they make daily hard NOT to pass up. It adds another depth of greatness. Straight authentic street tacos. Menu is pretty diverse so if not tacos other options. Not only the food but the whole mobile taco stand. Couple wooden tables that sit down. The drinks classic all in ice colors on ice. One water, one can soda, and another with Mexican soda. Bottles of salsa two kinds in squeeze bottle on ice. The back drop is flat out gorgeous with Boulder City mountains. Is there anything more unique, epic, and best family run business. Only taco stand and always fan small business. Seriously BC Dam Tacos is hidden gem in Boulder City!

I usually don't care for beans but their beans are amazing Salsa is hot and very flavorful. Carne asada is tender and perfectly cooked. Great job guys!!!

If you blink driving into Boulder City, you might miss it and that'd be a shame, because this place…read moreain't just a stop... it's a stroll. The kind where you park the truck, stretch your legs, and suddenly you're wandering past little shops, mom-and-pop eateries, and front porches that practically dare you to slow down a minute. It's got that old-school charm, like time agreed to take its boots off and stay awhile. Now yeah, I did the "TV thing." I swung by The Coffee Cup Cafe you know, the one off Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Had my cup of coffee, tipped my cap, said "alright, that's solid." But let's be honest... just because it made it on TV don't mean it owns the crown. Sometimes the real gold's tucked a block over, minding its own business. Enter Big T's Cantina. Now listen... I may be a little biased toward Mexican food but I know greatness when it hits me in the mouth. Those asada tots? Lord have mercy. That's not food, that's an event. That's the kind of plate where you take a bite, lean back, and look at your buddy like, "We ain't leaving, are we?" Drinks were flowing, cold and strong strong enough that at one point I'm pretty sure I told a stranger from Florida he was my long-lost cousin. He didn't argue, so now I might have family in Tampa. And here's where the story turns... We start out minding our business, right? Next thing you know, we're sliding tables together like we're hosting Thanksgiving. Some folks from Florida, a couple locals, and us just talking trash, swapping stories, and somehow it turns into a full-blown drinking contest. Not the official kind, no trophies... just pride on the line and bad decisions being drafted in real time. At one point someone says, "You think you can keep up?" And I go, "Buddy, I work on an oil rig. Hydration is a lifestyle." Five minutes later I'm questioning my life choices and ordering another round anyway. That right there that's what made this place my number one. It wasn't just the food (which slapped). It wasn't just the drinks (which definitely slapped back). It was the people. The way a random afternoon turned into a table full of laughter, strangers turning into friends, and one of those memories you don't plan you just walk straight into. Big T's might not have the biggest ratings. It might not have a TV crew parked outside. But from where I'm sitting? It's the heartbeat of that strip. So here's my advice don't just follow the hype. Take the walk. Peek into the shops. Find your own spot. Write your own chapter. But if you want a little head start? Big T's Cantina. That's the one.

There's only one guacamole option listed, but it says you can add things like pineapple or bacon without listing any additional pricing or the original ingredients. I ordered the Loaded Carne Asada tacos, which came with rice and beans. Honestly, the tacos needed about double the meat. It felt like they added extra cabbage and pico to bulk them up instead of giving a proper portion of carne asada. It was weird to have the cabbage on the bottom of the taco instead of the meat. The beans were good though. They tasted like traditional refried pinto beans and were probably the most solid part of the plate. The rice was a miss for me because the cilantro was extremely overpowering. The complimentary chips and salsa were great. The salsa definitely has some heat, so if you like spicy, you'll probably enjoy that part.

This place has a legit small-town feel and serves some excellent barbecue. We ordered the Burger special, sliders (one pork and one brisket), and The Brisket sandwich. The sliders were huge for sliders and served on big toasted buns and piled high with coleslaw, onions, pickles, and pepperoncinis. Both meats were flavorful and tender. The brisket sandwich was outstanding: certified Angus beef cooked low and slow, seasoned with their Texas-style rub, sliced thick, and stacked high on grilled Texas toast. Very satisfying. For drinks, we had a couple Hazy Fox IPAs and two Huckleberry Lemonades that were on special for $5, which were a fun and refreshing choice. The sides were just as impressive. My family ordered the 50/50 bowl with half mac & cheese and half cowboy beans which was outstanding. The cowboy beans were especially packed with flavor. We also tried the fried okra and potato salad. The okra was amazing; crispy and delicious. The potato salad was just okay for me and a little bland, but I'm from the north, so I know everyone makes potato salad differently depending on the region. Overall, Fox Smokehouse BBQ was a great stop with delicious food, generous portions, and a welcoming hometown vibe. Definitely worth visiting if you're near Boulder City.

There are about 3 small tables outside and about 5-6 tables inside. Each one can sit only about 2-3 people, so unless you are picking up to go, this won't work for a large group. The decor was fun and colorful. The kitchen area had a lot of open/extra space so I'm guessing this was a bakery before and the new owners didn't remodel much to keep the cost to open down. They could probably get another 4+ tables in here if they did. Not a negative, just an observation. The menu was filled with interesting stuff. We landed on 3 very different things. There was a sweet potato bowl on the menu that looked tasty, and while reviewing the menu I watched one get delivered to a table and it looked delicious and it was ENORMOUS! I wasn't sure I wanted to each that much so I went with a chicken wrap, my wife ordered a pizza, and my sister in law ordered a "small" salad. We decided to sit outside and they brought us our food and a sample of the soup of the day as a complementary treat (or it was included with our orders, not 100% sure) the soup was a ham/lentil/bacon recipe and it was delicious. My wrap was pretty tasty too, it could have used something to add crunch, maybe wonton strips or something like that. The flavor was great though. My wife's pizza was a bit too cheesy and slightly undercooked, but it was still tasty. If we ordered that again I'd probably ask they cooked it a couple minutes longer. The "small" salad was HUGE! I can't imagine what the large is like and I can't believe the price for what you get there. It looked amazing and fresh. My sister in law said it was very good. Overall I do think they have a couple things to work on but I loved the experience and I would come again if I was in the area. It was an incredible value for the quality of the food and that's why I'm still giving them 5 stars. For about $35 it was an absolute steal for 3 people.
