When I picked up my vehicle,…read moreDonny mentioned there is a grinding/whine noise with my power steering reservoir and he suggested to replace it due to in his opinion "poor" design. CVF Racing (Manufacturer) sells thousands of these power steering system which was included in my serpentine system. I was informed the whining/grinding noise is not something to be concerned about other than the noise. Within a month and mind you I drove the car short distance to local car shows, my power steering reservoir started leaking and air bubbles forming forcing fluid through the pressure hole. I contacted CVF for advise, and was informed the system was not bled correctly. I had the car towed to Frame-up which I was under the impression Donny Friese would honor his warranty for the recent steering box replacement and the last to work with my power steering. I did not have ANY issues with my power steering before Frame-up's upgrade. Without any estimate /quote, explanation or contact for the repair from Frame-up, I was shocked to be billed an additional $850 to bleed and replace a power steering reservoir. This place is a total ripoff! Get a detailed written quote before engaging with this outfit. The initial quote/estimate I was provided went up by $1000 without notice or explanation which I let slide. Now I am contemplating on getting legal advise on this matter. Buyers beware! Cars are up on stands and easy to pick parts from. Yard is only a few years old. Turnover rate is good so if you go, say, once every month or two you'll see mostly new cars every time. Its also worth checking out their row of "classics"; older cars they keep around "just in case". Some real odd ones there.

Much cheaper than going to my dealership and finding a time to get to the dealership since they were booked out until the following week. They provide other quick services, which is nice when you need a quick fix.

Dropped off with the original carb and amazon cheap carb plus new battery in box. I got it back in early July and they charged $350 to remove mouse nest in the air cleaner and it ran crappy for a day or two and then wouldn't start. Brought back and said i wanted the original carb cleaned and installed and need it running by Aug 1st - wasn't done! I got a call and said the carbs were no good so i ordered them a new one. Came back in September to get it - wasn't done and asked for refund. Bill said yes but then i went to pick up and they got it running. They said the battery was weak but 'look it's running fine'. Asked for the original carb - said it was on the bike - It's not. The original is now missing. I got it back home and it again ran for 1 day. Went back to ask for refund - Bill said no just bring it back. This shop will not see it again - they lie and rip people off. They took my money, had my bike all summer and it's no better than when I brought it in! Do yourself a favor and pay a reputable shop.
