The girls the accommodated me and my 8 yr old, and the girl stayed after closing for me. My nails w were awesome! One wierd thing I noticed was the first girl started my nails and then in the middle abruptly got up and switched to another girl- no warning or explanation. Strange but ok. The day before yesterday I went for the second time. I went as a walk in, and the girl seemed a bit off from the beginning. Why I'm giving three stars is because I'm happy with the nails, the attitude I got was not ok. She seemed bitchy and at one point she was pointing out that she had to change my mail as the last person did it crooked, she said. I know my mail is slightly cracked and I didn't notice anything the last time- then she held up my finger to show me. When I didn't understand and asked for clarity she got all pissy and said something in her language which in sure was very derogate, right there in front of me! I felt so uncomfortable and upset about it. A bit shocked, even. I let it go but it's still bothering me so I hope this communicates . I paid a lot and tipped too. I'll be going back though , hoping for the best and I'm happy with my nails.

I had a colour change on my feet done and it looks very sub-standard. The nail polish bottle was dry and the technician had a hard time applying it. I could not see very well the final result. When I came outside I saw how un-even and choppy it looks and went back suggesting they apply another coat to even it out. The owner just said it's because your nail is not smooth and that was the end of it. No suggestion to correct or even sorry. Said next time use a different colour (not metallic). I came here couple of weeks ago to get a mani and pedi with my boyfriend. Upon my arrival, tv wasn't on. There was no one inside when we walked in. Two people came out and it was so strange as there wasn't an uplifting feeling or they just didn't care. The owner kept grabbing things for my nail tech like towels for my hand and let's and water for my mani. Issue is she (the owner) was rushing through my boyfriend and grabbed this for my nail tech and by the time my nail tech used these on me, it was cold!! Definetly not a place to go to anymore. It all started with a Groupon for the Fluttery and Fabulous eyelash extension set ($100). My eyelash stylist was Aija. She was wonderful to my newbie lashes. She made sure I was comfortable, explained everything she did and she was so careful and gentle, I would have never known she was working on my lashes. I appreciate the gel pads that go under your lower lashes, which help prevent those pesky tweezers from jabbing your flesh. The whole process was 1 hour. We chatted a bit in the beginning but I just enjoyed the process of closing my eyes and relaxing to the songs that played lightly in the background. After I sat up from my mid-afternoon nap, I awoken to a beautifully created set of new lashes. The lashes looked natural yet dramatic enough to be noticed, there was no irritation from the glue, I saw no clumps... essentially they looked like lashes I had grown myself! (A majority of people always ask if the lashes are real... because it looks that natural!) The extensions are synthetic mink - to prevent allergic reactions and bacterial growth. After that first set, I visit every 2-3 weeks depending on how much I want refilled. (2 week refill is 30 mins ($35) and 3 week refills ($55) is an hours worth of eyelash refill time). In the end, it's a slightly pricey indulgence but it feels so good to wake up with gorgeous lashes without putting on mascara or using that heated lash curler). If you want to try them out, this is the place to go! The prices are comparable if not way cheaper than other eyelash extension places - plus I know Aija will do an amazing job and I'll never have to worry about too much glue, double lashing, or questions in cleanliness like some other places I have read reviews on. This spa is mini but it has a lovely washroom and they offer you tea is you need to wait or while you're having your mani done. Bonus, lots of free street parking! Flutter on Yelpers!

The worst Brazilian waxing service I've gotten. It's nothing personal, strictly based on a service…read moreperformance. I've been with so many waxers in my life so far probably at least 10-15 and I've never felt this much of pain, also it took such a long time! I don't know the waxer's name but she looks pretty young and after getting waxing I am honestly not sure if she actually knows how to do Brazilian waxing properly. It took about 40 mins which is doubled amount of any other waxers I've had, SUPER painful, and didn't even get rid of all hair. I don't know if it's only her or the wax they use. It feels like some white glue you use for carpentry.. I had to rinse it off right after I get home and it still feels weird. She pulled same areas of my skin several times and it hurts SO MUCH. I've never left any negative reviews before or leave not generous tip after getting any kind of services but I really don't want anyone to have the same time-wasting, super painful experience like I just had so I had to write a review. I don't know about any other services but for a Brazilian waxing don't ever go there. I'd attach a photo to prove my point if it wasn't my private part. Edit: I don't really need a complimentary treatment since I don't really like the wax your shop uses but if you could get me a little portion of skin soothing gel that'll be great. I was a bit nervous but was confident in the process. I went through about an hour and a half long treatment, not bad. The healing process was non existent I felt good the whole time and had no itching.
