My confidence and happiness in general instantly increased noticeably and has only kept growing ever since. I highly recommend checking them out, the results are unbelievable!! The crazy high quality of the hair extensions themselves and the absolute PERFECTION of the colour matching to my own natural hair colour has resulted in continuous compliments and complete disbelief (from total strangers, acquaintances, good friends, even family members!) that it is not my own real hair. I can style it anyway I want, go swimming with no worries whatsoever and to be honest sometimes I forget myself that I have them at all. I've had very fine hair my whole life and even with regular trims and experimenting with dozens of hair products (that promised results but actually never really ended up making much of a visible difference at all), I could never manage to get it to grow much further than just below my shoulders. My ponytail was always soooooo thin and I just got used to constantly dealing with split ends and limited styling options. I didn't think I'd ever be able to have the long, thick, gorgeous hair I now wake up to on a daily basis thanks to the Pacific Hair team, it's truly a dream come true. The staff have been unfailingly kind, expertly skilled and consistently warm and friendly while also being completely professional. They go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable and always offer coffee, tea, water, even snacks yum. They also provide a veritable wealth of information and excellent advice for every question or concern you may have, no matter how big or small. Pacific Hair is far far beyond a typical hair salon experience, the level of expertise and technique is truly top of the line and I have to admit that sometimes I suspect them of being actual bonafide magicians lol. This place is THE BEST!!!

I started experiencing noticeable hair loss when I was 19-years-old and the thinning continued…read moreuntil I had significant thinning by they time I was 23 (I'm 27 now). As a young man dealing with premature balding, this had a divesting effect on my confidence and self esteem. I felt like I couldn't leave the house without wearing a hat and would go to great lengths to avoid being in photographs. I've worked as a stage actor since I was seventeen, and this made me hyper aware of my ever thinning hair. In Film and TV, casting makes their choices based off of looks primarily, and as 27-year-old bald man, I felt my choices for casting were very limited and felt like had a huge impact on my career. I never tried to remedy my hair loss other than wearing hats to hide it or just shaving it all off. I did, however, recently try topical solution, and although I noticed some decrease in thinning, the hair I had lost did not come back. The hairpiece looks and feels fantastic! I barely notice I have it on and it behaves like a whole head of hair. It looks so natural that nobody who has seen my thinning hair before could tell that it is a hairpiece. The hardest thing to deal with so far is just getting used to having hair again. I am very excited to step out into the world with confidence and feel like I am in a co-dependant relationship with a baseball cap! I'm also excited to see how it helps me my career in the entertainment industry. Thank you to the amazing staff at Pacific Hair Loss Solutions for all their help, kindness, and my new look!

I saw this as false advertising as the only reason they charge local people a consultation fee as opposed to other areas where it's free, is cause you are supposed to meet with the actual doctor. I personally felt scammed by how I talked to just another consultant for most of it. If I thought there was any chance of refund then I would have asked for it cause it was very unprofessional. As for the consultation, it felt rushed like they were just trying to make a sale and my questions and concerns weren't really answered and I didn't get the vibe that they care about the patient but just about getting the surgery. Speaking of the surgery, back in 2015 when I first wanted to do a transplant but was not able to due to a year long illness, the price for FUE was 6 dollars per graft for first 2000 and 5 dollars after that. By the time I went for the consultation, it was 8 dollars for 2000 and 6 after that which is a huge increase. I need to also like and trust the doctor and I didn't get that feeling from Dr. Hasson as from the second he walked in, he looked in a bad mood and didn't seem friendly at all. Transplant is a big and expensive decision so at the very least I would have liked to feel comfortable about the whole thing but this wasn't the case here

This was the email I sent back to the office of Skin Techniques today, after a horrible experience…read moreyesterday, and them still trying to confirm future appointments that I had cancelled... Pamela Roney pamelaroney10@gmail.com 2:42PM (1 hour ago) to Skin Techniques I left a voicemail at 2:21pm yesterday (July 14th), at the office when the phone wasn't answered. I was canceling my appointment for today at 3:00pm (July 15th) that was made for me yesterday, and the appointment for tomorrow (July 16th) at 2:00pm, also made for me yesterday in the office. I have severe pain and bruising from the "cool sculpting" procedure and almost at once knew something was wrong when my left side above my hip was in severe pain during the 1st treatment. I was supposed to stay for another 2 rounds, but chose to leave because I couldn't imagine going through that for another hour and a half. When I returned to my hotel within 30mins, I cancelled all remaining visits for more treatments that were forced on me. Approximately 2 hours later, the left side where the "cool sculpting" device was attached started to bruise, severely. When I woke up during the night because of the pain on my left side, I went to look at the size of the bruise and it was the size of my hand. The right side where the same treatment was applied showed minimal bruising or pain. It's hard to imagine I was charged $1600 for simply 2 of these sessions (8 were recommended) within a 3 day period, for the same area, for a total of $4800 MORE. Also, I have a qualm with being told last April that if I took advantage of their "special on cool sculpting" and paid $800 I would save on my treatments, without them even telling me how many treatments I might need... When I checked out yesterday, I was charged $795 for each treatment, 2, and refunded $800. What's special about that? The up selling at this office is untolerable and I won't be back. Pamela Roney

I sent an inquiry to duBrule through their website's contact form to set up a consultation…read moreappointment. And I waited. Forty-four days later, I am still waiting to set up an appointment. My initial inquiry was sent forty-four days ago. I filled out the contact form on their website and chose their Victoria office. Ten days passed and I did not hear back from them, so I sent another inquiry. Another week would pass before I sent a third inquiry - this time to their Vancouver office. They finally responded....by leaving multiple messages left on my phone, - a mandatory field on their contact form that needed to be completed before submitting an inquiry. However, I specifically requested no phone calls on my inquiry. Finally, they contacted me through email. I thanked them for finally adhering to my contact preferences. I told them I was hearing-impaired and cannot use the phone. That is why I prefer communicating via email. A few days later, a duBrule representative emailed me and assured me "No problem. Even though our Victoria offices only offers fitting and grooming services, we will set up your consultation appointment for there!". I thanked her for duBrule's willingness to accommodate my disability needs. And I responded to her questions as to what I was seeking so they had a better idea in advance of the anticipated consultation. I sent the email. And I waited. And waited. Finally, three weeks later I heard back from the rep. She profusely apologized for her tardiness in response because "I am a technician and we don't normally check this email account". She threw out some dates to book a consultation and so I responded to her email. And I waited. And today I am still waiting. Today is day 44 and I still don't have a consultation appointment. Since then, I have had consultation appointments and responses from four other hair restoration places who placed my disability needs in front of their needs for a quick hard sale by telephone. All said, I haven't made a decision yet because I'm in no rush. I haven't ruled out duBrule's yet because , if for no other reason, I am both fascinated and a little more than a bit morbidly curious as to how this will play out....assuming, of course, they respond to my last email before I have perished in my latter years. Besides, I'm always looking for a silver lining. As I am quite well known in a number of hair restoration forums, I might have a doozy of a story to report back to the gang. They would love it. :) In any event, I'm hardly impressed with the good folk at duBrule. If they can't respond to their email contact forms because they have anybody accessing them on a regular basis, then why have a contact form at all? And if someone does have to access emails that isn't normally part of their job, why can't the person jot down a simple reminder on a sticky note or whatever to see if so-and-so has taken the time to respond to the email they sent out a week or so ago? This would show the customer they truly do care about them. And so I continue to wait - seven weeks later for a consultation appointment. I probably won't go with duBrule. I'm utterly amazed at their incompetencies. The four other hair restoration businesses I have connected with have all responded in due course and have long since provided me with consultations, answered my questions, and provided me with estimates to make an informed decision...all by email. Email seems like such a radical communications approach with duBrule. The bottom line: If a company can't meet your personal physical needs by using one of the most widely accepted alternatives to the telephone in this 21st century, why would anyone want to entrust them with their personal grooming needs? In the meantime, I continue to wait.

It was bad enough I had to cut back on dog walks (out Doodle was not happy with this). Reviewing the medical literature I found out there was a minimally invasive procedure for the treatment of my condition. After multiple phone calls to clinics offering dermal fillers (mostly for cosmetic procedures) I found the practice of Dr. Anna Sylwestrowicz, MD . The office was very accommodating with my unique inquiry and agreed to meet with me just to discuss my diagnosis and treatment plan. One of the most vital requirements for a good medical outcome is a solid 'Doctor-Patient' relationship that starts with an open and frank discussion. I found my conversation with Dr. Anna (as she prefers to be addressed) to be all a patient could ask for. We jointly came up with a plan, discussed the various dermal fillers on the market, her experience with their use, possible outcomes and hoped for outcomes. I agreed to the procedure. Three weeks before the start of my hike, Dr. Anna injected my left heel pad with dermal filler. The procedure itself was tolerable and I walk out of the office with an order to 'take it easy' with my walking. For the first 5-6 days I was sore at the injection site but that was too be expected. After a week, I restarted my daily dog walks (much to the pleasure of our Doodle) and gradually increased my mileage. On April 23rd, 2026 I found my self hiking south on the Appalachian Trail from the small village of Damascus, Virginia. I was planned on keeping my daily mileage under 20km while carrying 15kg of pack. At that point, my heel was pain free. I hiked for a month pain free. I ended this section of the Trail in the very tourist town of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. This was a distance of 400km-pain free! Considering the pain, I was in prior to the injection of dermal filler this was a remarkable medical outcome. I am very, very pleased. As for the future, there are 333km left for me to complete. I will be back to the Trail in September for finish that section. Thank you to Dr. Anna and her staff in joining me on this journey!
