It is well worth every penny and more because of the personalized treatment that you receive. I've been coming to BBV for years for my stylist, Emily. She's an absolute pro in all aspects of her work, but I personally really appreciate her specialization and knowledge in all things blonde - I go back and forth basically every other appointment with wanting to brighten up or darken down, and she's always ready with a fabulous recommendation and expert execution. Whether it's a root shadow or lowlights or a full head of more foils than I can possibly count, she kills it. Every. single. time. Plus, any questions I have about hair health, maintenance, hot tools, or products, she is truly a wealth of knowledge. It's evident that she's exceptional at and loves what she does! The salon is beautiful, comfortable, and always super tidy. Even though no one other than Emily has ever worked on my hair, it's so nice to be welcomed by other stylists (hi, Jenny!), the owner, Veronica, and the folks at the front desk who all are so thoughtful, professional, and remember you. I paid more than $300 to get my hair dyed and when I first went in Jordan did a root shadow and partial highlights. It was far from what I showed her from the picture I brought in. I eventually spoke to Veronica and she said she'd fixed it. Unfortunately, she made it worse by frying my hair and giving me different shades of blondes with terrible blending and highlights on the top of my head! I called again and I spoke to Pam telling her what happened and how I sent her the pictures of the terrible results and was rudely interrupted by Veronica and she said she would give me a 25% discount to fix her mistake. BBV Salon blew all my expectations out of the water. After a hair catastrophe with my previous stylist, I scheduled with Dolores at BBV Salon for some damage control. Veronica and her staff were extremely professional and tend all the tiny details. I felt doted on hand and foot as soon as I walked into the salon. Scheduling is quick and simple, the front desk is very attentive. Dolores is a magician with hair I've never been so happy with a haircut and color. Dolores worked her magic and transformed my hair and it feels even healthier than before. She gave me the most luxurious looking demential brown color. Not to mention the products they use are top notch. I definitely left with some great product recommendations. Dolores will give you the hair of your dreams, what an artist!! I started going to this salon ten years ago, when I had a horrible haircut, and needed an expert to fix it. Veronica is so welcoming and the staff is so great that I have stayed here for 10+ years. Even when I went to U of A I would commute for my hair appointments because the results were that great. Betsy has taken such good care of my hair, and even when I have had outrageous requests to switch my hair color up, or add/readjust extensions last minute she has always delivered and made me look my best. I came to this salon on a referral of a friend. I saw Kathy for a single process and partial highlight. I was shocked when I went to check out and she charged me $260. I told the girls at the desk that there must've been a mistake, I had a partial highlight. They went to check, and said that was correct. I've been to many wonderful salons, and have never been charged close to this for this service. The website gives different pricing. The color was ok, nothing great. I might've been willing to work with her, but completely feel taken advantage of. read more

I love BBV Salon! I've been coming here to see Kandi for years and seeing Kandi for over 20 years! They're the best. The staff is so welcoming and professional and they offer a variety of refreshments upon arrival (including wine...). Their products are excellent -- Kerastase is a must for my thick hair and I'm glad they have the ability and tools to treat it. I'd recommend BBV to anyone. I had a coloring issue. I was asked to come back and get it redone. I came back to the salon, but Jenny, the stylist tried to explain to the reasons why I wouldn't get the color. Then, was pushed off to another stylist, who kept going around and around with questions, and same answers given. As a person who does their own hair... and compare to a professional... why couldn't They Give me the color I wanted? I got a refund, but I won't recommend because they will talk to like you are stupid. read more

I am very picky going to a new stylist and salon because you never know what to expect but I am very impressed with my experience at BBV. Emily is so sweet and she did an amazing job on my hair and keeping me comfortable through the 3 hour process. It was all worth it! Veronica is very nice as well she came by and gave me compliments on my hair. The salon is also beautiful, very clean and everyone is very nice. They offer drinks and snacks which is always a nice addition, especially when you are there for multiple hours. At first, I was a little apprehensive about the pricing at this salon but a friend of mine said they saw Beauty By Veronica do a mini-makeover on the news and the results were amazingly believable. My hair is on the fine/thin side but I do not believe that means I must settle for a short style. 10/10 would not go here. I saw Lola for color and she destroyed my hair. She was inattentive and left the dye in for too long, a careless and rookie mistake. Had to go to another salon and pay them to fix it but it is still extremely damaged and will not be the same for years. On top of everything she was rude and unprofessional about the situation. BEST EVER! I have very curly, dry hair. I have been to a succession of hair stylists who have chopped it in unflattering styles. Veronica is the total exception. She offers consultative styling, making sure that she meets my changing needs (more highlights...fewer highlights...shorter here, just a dusting there). Her staff is friendly. Moreover, if you tell her you don't like it, ( for her $90 haircut which she only partially blow drys and has her assist finish) she tells you that she'll fix it next time. I love this place :) Veronica is my stylist and she is the best stylist I have ever had. My hair were dry and curly. I got a hair cut and color. I love it. It is so easy for me now to style my hair. It is very friendly feeling place. I am very glad that I decided to try this place. I drive an hour but it is worth it. I was tired of bad hair cuts especially when you have a curly hair.
