They won't respond after taking my $275 I had a similar experience as the other reviewer. I agreed to order parts for a Fire Magic grill. Paid $275 plus initial diagnostic fee, and received an email receipt. Have called 6 to 8 times asking for status, and each time they say that parts are all back ordered, and at first it seemed believable. They answered 3 weeks ago, around June 20th, but now I cannot get an answer via phone or email. I'm assuming they're out if business. Seems like a big Ponzi scheme. Called my credit card company to dispute the charge. They seemed professional at first and the reviews from a year ago were good, so not sure what happened. Big waste of time and money. read more

COMPLETE SCAM! If I could leave a negative star I would. I wish I had seen these reviews before paying the deposit for a grill repair order in July 2021. I paid the $212 deposit and still have a broken grill. They have stopped answering my calls after numerous attempts to get my deposit back. I was patient after hearing the numerous excuses as to why the part never arrived. Then was promised the deposit would be returned, but a month later my calls haven't been returned and money is still not paid back. We had to replace our built in gas grill at the height of COVID last year so we reached out to BBQ Repairs 911. They were very responsive and diagnosed the problem within minutes of arrival. Upon learning we had to replace the grill they emailed us links of options. We use our grill often, but not for anything exotic-veggie burgers, hamburgers and occasionally salmon. We did not want anything beyond what our needs require so I chose a mid price range grill from the options they provided. That is when things just fell apart. I would like to think it was not a matter of our project not being a multiple thousand dollar job but it was kind of what it felt like as the project progressed. It ended up taking weeks for the project to be completed and so many communication attempts to get information after we ordered the grill. A Mason had to come out to modify the space for the grill (he was the best part of the experience, btw) and what started as an end of the week completion turned into weeks. We were clearly not a priority. Now, less than a year later, the grill shifts in the space and is not nearly the quality we had before. In fact, if I had to do it all over again and BBQ Repairs 911 was the only option, I would remove the entire built in space and buy a free -standing grill. read more

Do not do business with this company. I paid a $250 deposit for work to be done on BBQ back in March. The company completely ghosted me and never did the work. They don't respond to email or phone calls. In fact their number is no longer in service. I wouldn't even give them 1 star but this post requires me to. read more

BEWARE! THIS COMPANY WILL SCAM YOU! I have never posted a negative review. I believe in giving people a chance before blasting them on the internet. However, after giving this company countless opportunities to make things right, others deserve to know what a piece of crap company really is. I contacted them in early January 2021 to come and look at my 6 foot Firemagic grill that needs cleaning and repairs. They sent someone out right away, nice guy, I paid the $80 or so for them to come out and was told I'd get an estimate in the next few days. That the grill could be ready by mid February. Fine, all good. Two weeks later, I get an estimate for $1,500. Fine. I want my grill fixed. Paid the $1,000 deposit they asked for on January 27, 2021. About a month passed without hearing from them so I contacted them through Thumbtack where I had initially contacted them. I look up the company and found a few 1 star reviews from people that never heard from them again after they paid their deposit. Naturally, this is where I started to worry. I sent them a few messages and they didn't respond. When I messaged them that I was going to request a refund, they got back to me right away. They told me they were moving and had not gotten to order the parts yet. Told me they'd get back to me in 2 weeks. A month passed and nothing. I reached out again March 10 and finally spoke to a guy who said they had two deaths in the family. I did not want to be inconsiderate. I paid my condolences. Gave them the benefit of the doubt. I was reassured they were waiting for parts that were on back order. That the parts were going to get there in a week and the work should be done by early April. I get a call from a girl named Crystal a few days later who confirms parts should be here by early April. All good. Was excited about my grill. Early April came. Nothing. I called again on April 6 and was told the parts were getting there that week. That they would call me the next week to schedule the repairs and cleaning. Week of April 12 came and went without a call. Out of stupidity, I decided to give them a fifth chance. Told them that I would consider not writing this review and getting a refund from the bank if they send me evidence that they had ordered the parts, which they did, SENT ME AN INVOICE SHOWING THAT THE PARTS WERE ORDERED APRIL 21, 2021. The better me decided to ignore the fact that they lied to me about the parts being ordered from the beginning. They then scheduled me for an appointment to get the grill cleaned and repaired to May 14, 2021. I took off work to meet them at my house. Scheduled time came and went. I tried calling their several numbers and no one answered. I finally get a call from them telling me that the repair guy scheduled for today is out at a funeral...again. Right. I was done. They tried messaging me that it's not their fault that their guy was at a funeral and that the parts were back-ordered...blah blah blah. Well, I would have believed that if they had not lied to me about ordering the parts in the first place. I'm done with the constant lying and excuses. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Expect to have your grill sit in disrepair for 4 months and worrying about getting your $1,000 deposit back. read more

We had someone come out, give us an estimate, and they charged us for the grill and work. The problem is THEY NEVER CAME BACK TO DO THE WORK. We DO NOT have a new grill, and they have told the credit card company that they DID do the work. Also, they now WILL NOT answer our phone calls. The truth is that this is FRAUD! read more

In preparing to host a family get together, I was informed our grill needed to be replaced. Loren came out assessed the situation and recommended a replacement and educated me to how to clean and care for my grill. He was sooo patient with me allowing me to ask the beginner level questions. Not impressed at all with this company. Golden Blount Fireplace log set hasn't worked properly since purchased 7/2017. Decided to use BBQrepairs911 as a last attempt to get it working. Had issues with warranty and billing. Owner said I insulted his Integrity and would not accept any payment. Issued via email invoices for $0. Now wants payment with new invoice.
