When I went to use the restroom , the bathroom door didn't have a lock on it, so I had to move and use another stall. There was toilet paper on the ground and the hand dryers were out of order. It wasn't the cleanest but it served its purpose. You can also let your dog out here but there is no grass and my dog can be a little fussy about going on the dirt. We made it work though.

In their main shop, there were many packaged grab & go options; sandwiches, wraps, salads, etc. Numerous coffee creamer options, tea, etc. Central bathrooms were clean & well stocked.

Staff always seem buff and pleasant. Never tried their public restrooms so I can't share how they are here for being such a high traffic stop. At 2am- no teslas at the charging stations so it's a big contrast to during the day when the charging stations are usually a line a few cars back.

What really stood out was his attitude and willingness to help. He made sure we had everything we needed before continuing our trip and treated us with genuine professionalism and kindness throughout the entire interaction. There were a few gas stations in Quartzsite, just off I-10. The Pilot Rest Stop got our attention as gas was $2.79/gallon, compared to nearby competitors that were advertising $2.99/gallon. While there are quite a few pumps, the fuel area was congested as the good gas prices attracted a lot of drivers. The diesel pumps were separate and were not as busy. We did not go into the Pilot convenience store nor the on-site Taco Bell.
