Been here twice in one week. I am shocked that I had no idea this place existed. The portions of their food are more than worth the price. The cheeseling flavor is so good that I got them for my fries as well as my wings. I enjoy that it's not a sauce so I could pick them up without getting terribly dirty. The service the two times I have been there is top notch. Always someone walking around and checking up on you is a huge plus for this business. No photos this time because this was technically a "first date" with a girlfriend and I was trying to act somewhat normal. We shared the boneless wings in the Secret Sauce and Honey Garlic flavors, along with the cheesling fries and cheese sticks. Of the two wing flavors, the Secret Sauce was definitely my favorite. It had a great balance of sweet and savory flavors, while the Honey Garlic was good but didn't stand out as much to me. The cheese sticks and cheesling fries were fine, but neither was anything I'd feel the need to order again. They weren't bad by any means, just not particularly memorable. Overall, the wings were the highlight and I'd come back for those. If you're trying b.bq Chicken for the first time, I'd definitely recommend giving the Secret Sauce a try. read more

So amazing! This was the most delicious and satisfying chicken I've had in ages. I got the honey garlic boneless which were crispy slightly sweet w garlic. And my date got a peppery somewhat spicy order of wings and they were also delicious! We traded wings which made them even more enjoyable. I wish they would let you choose 2 flavors of wings and do half and half. Otherwise sharing worked well! Everyone was friendly. I cannot wait to come back again and try more! :D read more

So happy bb.q is now in midtown / Aksarben area! I love Korean fried chicken. I got spicy hot sauce on my Korean fried chicken wings. It is spicy, so be aware! And it is a nice sweet and sour flavor. I think this is one of my favorite flavors. I like the chicken was somewhat lightly sauced to keep then crispy. . Both the fries and chicken are cooked to order, so they come out to the table fresh, hot and crispy. Delightful! . So there is only 1 sauce per order. If I wanted 2 different sauces, I would have to order 2 different baskets of wings, or a plain wing basket and order the 2 sauces on the side at $2 each or $4 up charge. Worth trying, but may not be back. Kimchee fried rice is very good. Wings are very crispy and hot when it comes out. One dimensional and once you've had the experience, at least for me I don't need a repeat. Have a variety of wings and street food items. Again worth trying and then you make the decision worth coming back. Prices are a little high. read more

Had a great experience with bb.q chicken. We had it delivered to our office and it was packed well and traveled well stayed crispy and hot. I'm sure it's even better fresh. We ordered a good amount of flavors and styles. Enjoyed the boneless being thighs and had more flavor. I enjoyed the spiciest one had a good kick with a little lasting heat on your lips. My only complaint would be a couple of the flavors tasted very similar to us. Both good just didn't taste much difference. The original had great flavor. Big wings think the pricing is more than fair. Glad we ordered and we will definitely be ordering again. read more

I stopped by after getting my nails done since it was in the same shopping center. I am really glad I did. The chicken is flavorful from the skin to the bone. Being that it was brand new, the place was shiny and clean inside and all the tables were cleaned and ready to be sat. Unlike my recent visit to a local Pizza place. The staff seemed to be a bit confused about the menu, but I get it. I got the gangeong bone in chicken wings. It was delicious from the sauce, to the skin to the bone! The way chicken is supposed to be. AND they had those prehistoric size chicken wings, no capon wings there. I liked the wings decently. They are big and meaty and I like the fried coating. I was not a fan of the Galbi sauce, though. It is too sweet for me. The cheesling fries grew on me but I wasn't enamored by the sweetness vs regular fries. The coating was a weird texture too. I can forgive the bad service as they are just getting their feet off the ground but if I were to return I hope for improvement. Two examples: I asked if cheesling fries were cheese fries. The server just said yes and that was it. These may have cheese in them but are not really cheese fries. They are fries in a sweet coating of some kind and a wing sauce. The service was great and the staff is so friendly and helpful. I ordered to-go, but I also loved the atmosphere of the place. It looked and felt clean. New location and much appreciated (much closer to my route than the west side location). Very good selection. Restaurant is impeccable and the service is good. You can use a digital pad for take away. Food is made to order so add 15-20 minutes to your takeaway visit or preorder online but either way it's worth it. Bb.q chicken is hands down the best fried chicken in Omaha. Extremely crispy and juicy chicken with great flavor in the sauce. The location was clean and the ambiance was great.
