So let me start off by saying this is not a fancy sit-down situation. You can sit out, but this is…read moremore of a take-out thing to me. It's a take-out spot near Georgia Tech that is open late and has free parking. You'll park and come in and then place your order on one of the kiosks that they have there. Then you'll wait around and get the food. There's not a whole lot of interaction with the people except grabbing your food from them, so I don't really have an opinion on service. When I got my food, they were nice, but it was only like four words, lol. We came in around 2:00 or 1:00, and this was one of the only things that would have been really open, except for a Waffle House situation. I wanted something, and it was definitely a good change. Waited for about 15 or so minutes for food, and then we were out of there. Now, the food itself was really, really good, and I would definitely have to go back here and spend a buck on this just to go ahead and try more of what they have to offer. Soy chicken - now I feel like them angels back there were whipping up that chicken because this chicken was heavenly. You know how you get chicken that'll be sauced and it'll start to get soggy because of the sauce? This wasn't that! The chicken still had a really good crisp to it, even though it was doused in sauce, and the sauce tasted super good. This soy ginger situation was a problem, and they give you a hell of a lot of it too, so it's not like you get three or four chicken strips or whatever, no, you get the whole bird lol. Well, that's what it felt like! Delicious ! Seasoned fries - the fries were super seasoned and very crispy, and they actually never made it out of the car, lol. I tried a couple of them when I was driving, and that was it! They give you a nice amount of fries as well, so they don't shortchange you, and they were delicious and didn't need any ketchup. When I come back here? Absolutely! This was great. It reminds you of the era of a mom and pop kind of Asian shop where it's not a lot of flashy fanfare, but you get really good food. That's all you really care about: really good food. The fact that the place is open really, really late makes it even better because if you're coming off the club or whatever you're doing, they're gonna be open. I would absolutely go back!

They didn't disappoint and it was really tasty. Would definitely come here again if in Atlanta for brunch. Service - 5/5 - We came back in July 2026 (catching up on reviews) and our waitress, Sydney, was such a delight. She was so sweet, had great, prompt service, and she even tried to get us a peach to try (though they didn't have any left) since we were from out of town and wanted to try. Thank you for the memorable experience. Biscuits - 4.5/5 - So yummy and fresh with butter. Loved it. I didn't know or think that Cook Out was in Atlanta until we were driving past a place and they didn't have parking so my friend suggested Cook Out. I was so excited. When we walked in it was a bit overwhelming because of the many varieties and options they have. When we walked up to the counter the lady greeted us and gave us the run down of how to order. The inside looked like the average fast food place. Only thing I could say was the floors were very slippery. I ordered the tray with a Cheeseburger with onions and mayo, Cajun fries, white cheddar bites, chicken nuggets and a drink. The Cheeseburger was very good and made how I asked, The fries were good with the seasoning on it. The White Cheddar Bites were my favorite and I could have gotten 7 more of those. The Chicken nuggets werent my favorite at all. Overal I am a huge fan of Cook Out now. The pricing blew me away as it was so affordable. I will be going back to Cook Out when I go to another southern state as I have to have my White cheddar Bites again.

Now, I'll say this: the food is genuinely delicious. But the portion sizes are just absurd for the price. The first time, I spent around $20 on what felt like a small tray of food. This time, I thought I'd give them another chance. I ordered a large plate with an extra side of broccoli. I paid almost $30, and what I got was a bowl about the size of my hand. My hands aren't tiny either, but for $30? It was absurd. So, while the flavor is spot-on, the portions to pricing make it a hard no for me going forward.

When I got home, I had to do it with my own teriyaki sauce out of the refrigerator. Portions are average as is the quality - expected better for the price. Nothing "Extreme" about this place other than the amount of grease and smoke in the air. There's better teriyaki grill places around. All of the pasta dishes I've tried are great, but my wife is partial to the cheese ravioli, which comes with a massive meatball to go with it. Worth noting that every main dish also comes with fresh baked bread and a simple side salad, which is awesome. I almost always go with the chicken diavola, which is a spicy, bone-in roasted half chicken tossed in a pan sauce with Calabrian peppers, garlic, crushed red pepper, and spicy oil. It's very spicy, and I handle spicy well, and it's SO good. It also comes with a couple of thick potato wedges sitting in the sauce, which is a nice touch. This dish will last me 2 to 3 meals.
