The best. Better than Bonchon and even Kyochon. Get the soy garlic. Dduk Bokgi is crazy spicy and will give you BTS. And I'm not talking about the wildly popular Kpop band, but Burning Ttonkkomong Sensation. My mom loved this chicken and she hates everything. read more

This place offers awesome service, amazing food, and comfortable seating! If you're looking for good eats, make sure to come here!

Wait: ~30 minute for the chicken. It's not too bad considering many places take just as long when preparing fresh orders. Plus it's a Friday What we ordered: Half and Half with secret spicy chicken + onion rings Food: it was DRY AF. The cook over cooked our chicken and we were pretty disappointed considering it was their signature chicken. The silver lining was that the secret sauce was pretty good and saved half the dish. Onion rings were ok. Again overcooked so the batter was super hard read more

Three words: Korean Fried Chicken. It damn good. The rest of the words in this review have no meaning and are here only to satisfy the minimum post length requirement. Does anyone really read multi paragraph reviews any more? You know, the ones with seventeen paragraphs about how their parakeet's mother in law died and they can't get their favorite substitution therefore they had a terrible experience? Well, my friend, you won't get that here. The meaningless words in this review are guaranteed to be absolutely without merit and you can feel safe in knowing that you ignored everything and update: Epstein didn't kill himself. read more

Don't let the name confuse you. You're not coming here for Barbeque Chicken but Best of the Best Quality Chicken. That is literally what the BB.Q stands for. They claim to be the "most popular fried chicken in Korea" and have been featured in many Mukbang (popular Korean eating broadcasts) shows. I'm not completely convinced it's the Best of the Best quality but it is still indeed really tasty. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall near Gwinnett Place Mall (Starcourt for Stranger Things fans). There's plenty of parking in the daytime during weekdays, but weekend evenings may be more of a challenge since it shares its parking lot with a couple late night spots. Upon entering the restaurant, you'll notice the open seating area. The restaurant looks like it can comfortably seat about 50 people at one time. There are private booths towards the back of the restaurant leading to the restrooms. The menu is pretty straightforward, it's the different sauces you have to choose from may stall you from ordering. Not because there's too many, but because they all seem somewhat similar, but no worries, the original Golden Olive Chicken without any sauce is delicious. We'll get to more of this in a bit. We had originally wanted to order the half and half Fried Whole Chicken, but at 6:30pm on a Sunday they had ran out of whole chickens! What?! How does an establishment that's primary focus is to serve chicken run out of chickens?! This actually turned out to be in our favor though, because the boneless chicken ended up being easier to consume without the annoyances of small bones. I would highly recommend the Golden Olive Chicken to anyone and everyone that's a fan of fried chicken. If you're not a fan then I don't know why you came here. The batter is perfectly seasoned and fried with the right amount of crunch in every bite. The inside meat is so tender and flavorful it'll make you question where this has been all your life. We also ordered the Secret Spicy chicken but we're almost convinced the chicken we got was the Hot Spicy chicken. Primarily because of how spicy it was and I'm no stranger to spice. It was still good though and I would recommend it with some precaution. Will have to return and try ordering this again to see if there's a noticeable difference. The honey garlic was also a favorite, the sauce and flavors were in perfect synergy without one overpowering the senses. This business has won me over in terms of quality food. I give it my stamp of approval and will be returning in the near future. read more

This is my hands-down favorite place to go for Korean Fried Chicken. The funny thing is I never knew about this place until after COVID hit, so when I was searching for places for takeout, this place caught my eye. I've tried pretty much everything from their menu, but if I had to choose my goto items I would pick the Boneless Cheesling and Spicy Galbi. The flavors and breading are absolutely fantastic giving it that crunch that makes you want more. It definitely satisfies my craving for good fried chicken. Currently, they are only take-out but one day when COVID is over I would love to dine-in. read more

Short story- 5 stars for food -1 stars for service I have been craving this chicken ever since they closed near the honey pig however many years ago (I think 9-10 years). Nothing came quite close to it! The plain fried whole chicken was extra flaky crispy and flavorful and you can taste the boldness of the olive oil in the chicken. This place is probably my favorite korean fried chicken place in the area. Its soooo good. We also got gangnam style wings that looked NOTHING like the picture it was pretty funny lol. It wasnt great but it wasnt bad. The fried whole chicken was much better. We also ordered a side of fried dumplings(7$) and cold slaw(4$). Dumplings were good but coldslaw was warm and watery. The sies are extra and do not come with the chickens Service was really bad lol. I know they dont mean to give terrible service but I went in at 3 pm and there wasnt many people. . And there were 2 ladies literally not paying attention to anything but cleaning the tables. They told me to ring the bell if I needed to order or if I need anything but even when i rang it 3-4 times nobody bothered because nobody was paying attention, just heads down cleaning tables. Getting waters and drinks took forever too. Overall, for the yummy chicken I will come back again for sure. read more

I was watching Crash Landing on You and was craving BBQ olive chicken since they were eating that like every single episode. Last time I had it I was still in Boston, which was almost two years ago. Cheesling is a must order flavor! It is a unique flavor I've never had anywhere else! The spicy flavor was not as spicy as I remembered, but the classic one was good as golden! I wish they could deliver like hello chicken though. read more

Their chicken is good in your lucky days!! But if you order in some days, might not be so lucky. My favorite is honey garlic. Always order original chicken for kids but I found that they also like sauce one. It is sad to hear some bad reviews from family and friends because we had a lot of good experience with their chicken personally. They do really good job keeping distance and how they do their to go orders!! Have no problem ordering from them. Plus, their dduk bok yi(rice cake) is good! I haved tried all dduk bok yi from all korean restaurants in Duluth but theirs is really good with cheese on top. FYI, i usually dont like cheese on dduk bok yi but theirs is better with cheese. Bit spicy but cheese makes it up for it. read more

Didn't get to see inside the restaurant but the food is excellent. Had the gangjeong and plain chicken with the rose ddeokbokki, and it was delicious. Our usual spot is Joy Chicken and Pizza, but we are definitely going to switch it up from time to time after trying this place out. Highly recommend. This place knows what they're doing! read more

Damn I wish I lived in the area and could get this every week.

Food was so bad, and the Service was horrible, chicken quality was like McDonald's Chicken nuggets with a horrible sauce on it. I wish I was being sarcastic but im 100% serious. I told the server, "hey im so sorry but this is so bad", can I get the check and get that taken off the bill and he replied "no, you asked for it and we made it, now you pay for it" keep in mind the plate was full with one half bitten nugget. I ended up paying cause I ain't broke, they can have the bread but I'll definitely never come back! And I don't suggest anyone else does. read more

But I noticed their chicken is not spicy like Duluth location. Duluth chicken base is spicy so babies or toddlers couldn't eat, on the other hand Johns Creek was different. I like it better than Duluth! Also love how they have GROUPON! Love it and will visit very soon. read more

It's been a minute since I've been here and I was craving some kfc (Korean fried chicken) on Sunday so I decided to check it out again. My fiancé and I split a medium order of the golden original chicken (fried; no sauce/seasoning) and the rose ddeok-bokki (rice cakes in spicy sauce). We absolutely loved the ddeok-bokki. The spice level was just right because the cream balanced out the spicy red chili sauce. There was also a decent amount of fish cakes too. As for the chicken, we were a bit disappointed. The chicken wasn't as juicy nor was the skin as crispy as we had hoped. It wasn't bad by any means, but nothing made it special, and I'd say there are places that cook their chicken better than here. Service wasn't great and they kept forgetting to give us things so we had to ask for basic things like small plates, utensils, and moo (pickled radish) on separate occasions. It may have just been that the servers that day were newer and less experienced, which is understandable. Otherwise, it was a pretty good lunch overall and I'd go back for the rose ddeok-bokki! read more

This place has the best packaging for Togo orders a well ventilated sturdy cardboard box. The Secret Spicy chicken was underwhelming. It was mild at best. The crisp was kind of nonexistent but for a Togo order it's understandable. It wasnt the worst chicken but wasnt the best either. The portion was generous compared to some other places. They provide you with more than enough sauce to thoroughly coat the chicken. The taste of garlic was very pronounced and a bit overwhelming. Overall this place is a 3.5. Better than average but nothing to rave about. read more

First time trying this franchise and I gotta say, not bad! I gotten the Golden olive and it was lightly battered, crispy, and pretty juicy. After eating it, you don't feel bloated as you usually do at other locations. Reason why I didn't give it a five is due to one of the chicken being a bit raw but they are still new! Definitely coming back to trying it again. read more

There are many korean chicken places in duluth buy bb.q chicken definitely stood out. Had to rush a dinner order for my family one night and just ordered their recommendations and man the chicken did not disappoint. We order to original, soy garlic and gangnam flavors and they were all fantastic. Flavors were booming, chicken texture was munchy while the outer skins were respectively crunchy to their flavoring, and their sweet potato fries are bomb (to be fair I'm biased on the fries but even the grandma loved it so that's a plus!). I'd definitely order here again. It's a bit pricey so I won't be having it as a regular dinner idea but when I'm craving it, this place will definitely hit the spot every now and then. read more

The worst experience ever in the Duluth Area restaurants. I failed to make an order. I leave this review to let the owner know how his/her employees treat customers. 1. Today at noon (Nov 21, 2021), I was happy to find this Korean fried chicken franchise on the way home from grocery shopping.  2. When I entered the restaurant, the employees asked me to leave the restaurant and make an order by phone due to their policy. (I was wearing a N95 mask.) I understood and got out of the restaurant. But I found there was no instruction about their policy in the entrance or anywhere. It was not a pleasant experience but I still understood. 3. However, they didn't pick up the phone even though they were looking at me calling through the window.  4. When an employee came out to give a take-out order to another customer, I asked him why they didn't answer the phone. He simply said they will. I asked him about the best selling item on their menu. He hastily pointed out #1 item on the menu and quickly left. I felt that he was annoyed by me, and I really want to know why! 5. I gave up the fried chicken since I am not patient enough to go through this humiliation for just a fried chicken.  I will never come back to this place and tell everyone I know about what I experienced today. Thanks! read more

Horrible customer service. We waited 40 min on top of 1 hr and 30 min for one part of our order. This part would never arrive to us. So in turn we had to get a refund for that part of the order and leave. When we got our refund they still expected us to tip them even after we received no apology. NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN! I would rather go to choong man chicken which is nearby with better customer service. read more

Easily my fav Korean fried chicken place. The chicken is always crispy and juicy. The interior is super nice and a great place to eat with friend, but I usually always do takeout. These are some recommendations I have. Galbi Chicken (Boneless) - The flavor is soo good. It has a sweet smokey flavor that taste amazing. I always order this flavor everytime. It is also crispy even with sauce. Original Golden - Despite having no sauce it, it still has so great flavor from the chicken alone. Also it's so crispy. Hot & Spicy - It's pretty spicy but it tastes so good. You can taste the flavors of the red pepper and unlike a lot of spicy food where it just pain, it has delicious chili flavors and some sweetness. I also recommend the rosé ddukbokki as well. If you want amazing fried chicken, I def recommend this place. It's always good and never disappointed me. read more

I'm not going to hold you, I don't buy anything else but the honey garlic wings and even then it's a once in a while thing since the breading is a bit heavy. Most of the menu is cheese and spicy ( cries in lactose intolerance and sissy takes buds) which counts me out and the prices for what I can eat has my " We got food at home" game strong af. Oh and they are stingy with the raddish too, like damn one little thing off radish for medium orders of chicken wings . read more
