Maybe because of the size of our order, we got some complimentary pickled radishes which paired well with all the fried chicken goodness! Our favorites are: Honey Garlic, Garlic Soy and original! I've heard of this place for a while and never got around to going. Finally today I placed an order. It was quick and ready with 15 minutes. I only ordered a 20pc lemon pepper wings. The wings were cooked to perfection and juicy. The badder was excellent. It was very crunchy and delicious. I just wish they had a platter style with a few more flavor options. Every time I order pickup from the Cerritos spot, they pack everything in plastic bags and the moisture builds up--by the time I get home, the chicken's already soggy. But THIS location? They use brown paper bags, so the chicken stays crunchy all the way home. Every takeout place should honestly know this trick by now! My go-to flavors are the Spicy Original or Cheeseling when I'm in the mood for something different. My family loves the Honey Garlic and Soy Garlic, so we usually grab three medium orders--about $33 each, so roughly $100 total. I was very disappointed with my experience at bb.q Chicken. My order was delayed by approximately 40 minutes, and there was little to no communication regarding the delay. What made the experience even more frustrating was that I was charged extra for radish. After such a significant delay, I would have expected some level of customer service whether that's a sincere apology, a complimentary side, or some gesture to acknowledge the inconvenience. Many restaurants go out of their way to take care of customers when delays happen, but that wasn't the case here. Unfortunately, no apology was offered, and I left feeling like my time and business were not valued. The food may be good, but customer service is just as important. The chicken here is amazing. Crunchy, saucy, sweet and well seasoned. The owner even gave us some pickled radish to cool down the spicy tteokbokki, which was such a thoughtful touch. I told him it was my first time trying it and he warned me it was very spicy. I ate the pieces on the top that weren't sitting in the sauce. They were delicious! To charge $3.59 for a small side of ranch through Uber Eats is absolutely ridiculous, and to top it off, they charge $6.59 for a very small side of fries. I forgot why but I was reminded again - the service is TERRIBLE. Change of management or not, this place continues to provide the worst service to customers. The manager guy "appears" and "sounds" nice in the beginning but no he's the worst. He will give customers attitude and the bitch look despite of any tips being given. They also charge for pickled radish and cabbage salad, which are typically free at all other locations. Business is all about making the customers want to come back. Service is horrible here.
