This is when we noticed a customer that was there on her lunch break to inquire about some sort of issue with her remote start, I can't (personally) say there are any issues with their work........so far. Although my thoughts that need to be conveyed here are more customer service related. So as we hung out (just over an hour) in their seating area for the installation of said remote start. First there was a smaller guy that was talking about a customer. Admittedly I do not know exactly what the issue was. But I do feel pretty safe in feeling like "I am a man - he's a man, I have no issues fighting him". Then there was the bigger guy that was on a call with a customer that wanted brake work done. As soon as he found out the car was a 2000, he was so condescending!! "You want breakes AND callipers all the way around a 2000?!" As a person myself that knows nothing about cars, beyond filling washer fluid, I would be beyond angry to be talked down to like I heard him talk to this customer!! What if it is a well maintained vehicle with personal/family sentimental value? If/when I call for any service of any kind - whether on my car, my house, or my body, if I am talked down to as this....."gentleman" did? I would hang up on him and go ANYWHERE else. As a matter of fact, I accompanied my boyfriend because I was going to talk to them about options and pricing for a remote start on my car. But, taking my own advice, I will go ANYWHERE other than horizon for my car.

Why didn't they call Tuesday morning when I had my appointment? The excuse was somebody was on vacation. Lots of excuses and poor customer service. I will be finding another Ford dealer.

The vehicle was a pearl white color, hard to match. They fixed the dent and matched the paint so that you couldn't tell anything had ever happened. Recently I was in an accident with an uninsured driver. I had just gotten another vehicle three weeks before. I had to file the claim with my insurer. What a time to find out how terrible their claims department was, which will be another review about them when the claim is done. The adjustor was so rude, as if I had caused the accident. I had received a concussion and was so distraught over the treatment I received. Leah at Waikem was such a help. She kept me updated along the way and helped get the claim going to get my vehicle fixed. We just can't say enough about her. The car looks spectacular and runs as good as new. We will definitely use them again.

"Caveat Emptor" Went to Fix-It with Fred for a needed oil change and the air conditioner was…read moreblowing warm air. Dropped the car off told them the problems and mentioned, when braking, the car pulled a little to the left. Later they called with a diagnostic fee which seemed a little high but wanted it fixed. Someone called back the next day told me they had changed the oil and recharged the air conditioning and found leaks at both Schrader valves which they replaced (part of the diagnostic fee I imagine) and I needed $2000 worth of brake work, (front pads and rotors, rear shoes and drums, front calipers, BG brake system service). My response was, "that is a third of what the car was worth, put it back together and the car will be picked up. A total of $2875.81 of work and parts were declined by me. " Just to be on the safe side, two weeks later the same vehicle was taken to another auto repair shop to have the brakes checked, their receipt says "Inspect brakes, approximately 50% -OK". The brakes are working fine. There is probably a large gap as to what is needed for vehicle repairs and what the manufacturers suggests and how much money you have.

I have taken my cars to Fred for over 20 years. I drove my 2006 Elantra to 304,000 miles, mainly because Fred maintained it for most of its life. My 2023 Elantra has 50k on it and was recently serviced by Fred. I had a fuel induction/injector cleaning service (I think that is what it is called lol) and the car is running as good as the day it was brand new. I highly recommend Fred and his crew. They are amazing and their prices are fantastic.
