I shreaded their crappy card & will wait for them to get the hint & close my credit account. I also closed out my checking & savings acct. They treat the customers of the companies they take over like crap. I can put & save my money anywhere. Went with Navy Fed. They gave me a card with a $25k limit & an 8.9 interest rate.

If you don't acknowledge the letter, this bank will begin taking fees from your account until you do or by law they must turn your holdings over to the state. This gives them about two years to pick your account clean like a buzzard, under the guise of "fees". There is no end to the audacity of bankers these days. Yes, a lot of banks do this, but every 6 months?!!! There are very few people or institutions that require us to check in with them every six months. I cannot this year because after I filed last year I dropped one of my telephone numbers--the one associated with my HrBLock account. So when I try and log in I am told I have to verify myself. I choose my email. I get a code. I enter the code in. Then it says I need to verify myself in an additional way. Are you following where this is going? If so you guessed it. It requires me to get a use the old telephone number I no longer have to get another code for a second verification. I'm stuck. So I have called HR Block several times. They are clueless. I have tried the AI Assistant. It is dumb as the rest of them. So today I just called and was finally told what I have already realized--I am forever locked out of my account and no longer have access to previously filed tax returns in there or the ability to import this massive amount of data from their system to start this year's tax returns. Instead they only option I have according to them is to create another account with another email address and telephone number. Why would I continue doing business with HR Block and set up another account? I wouldn't. I won't. They obviously outsource their IT to people who only do what you tell them to do and cannot think about how to logically define requirements to b uild their systems. But at least they got a cheaper way to build a useless system.
