I believe the host was Sofia. She was fantastic. Welllllll, we didn't get the "Welcome cookies"…read more That was a bummer. The check in was easy. The room was ok. It was near the bottom of all of the HGI's that we've slept in. To be clear, it was goo but not at the quality that I had expected. However, it would be rated higher if there was a sofa or a second, but comfortable, chair. The gym was nice. Be prepared to pay $25-$50 for parking. The hotel is centrally located in St. Pete Beach and a quick 10-15 minute drive to St. Pete. There are numerous restaurants within a 10-minute walk. You can access the beach from the hotel. All totaled, I'd go there again.

I really enjoyed my stay last year, and I always try to stay positive. However, I'm disappointed…read morethat I wasn't able to get an ocean-view room again for my upcoming stay. Since we're staying for over a week, the ocean-view rooms were only available for two or three days, not for the full length of our stay. I ended up booking a partial ocean-view room instead, but it honestly makes me sad. I also asked if we could have a room near the end of the hallway, closer to the ocean, but I was told that nothing could be done because the room had already been assigned. This was the same situation last year as well. Saint Pete Beach is beautiful, and although there aren't many nice brand-name hotels in the area, we choose Hilton because it's pet-friendly. Other than not being able to secure an ocean-view room, hopefully everything will be nice. Additional reviews after checking out, As always, the front desk was friendly, and Janet and Capria at the pool were especially welcoming. Housekeeping was very disappointing during our nine-day stay. They didn't wipe the tables or the desk at all. I wouldn't have minded about the desk, but we ate and had drinks at the table, so there were stains that were never cleaned, not even once. The only things they did in the room were empty the trash and make the bed. They also didn't clean our shower or bathroom sink for the entire nine days; they only emptied the trash and replaced the towels. Four stars or three stars I don't know.

This hotel is honestly a 2-star experience at best, and I have no idea how it's rated as a 4-star…read moreproperty. The entire place feels outdated, rundown, grimy, and poorly maintained. The front desk staff was rude and not very welcoming. Also, don't expect an early check-in unless you're willing to pay for a room upgrade. It definitely felt like they were trying to push upgrades just to get into your room before 3:30 PM or later. One of the biggest frustrations was the elevators. Usually only one was working, which led to 20+ minute waits constantly. Guests were visibly frustrated and many just gave up and took the stairs. The food was probably the best part of the stay, along with the fact that they provide beach chairs. However, the food service was extremely slow every single time. The rooms were dirty and old. We found hair, dust, dirt, and built-up grime throughout the room. The entire place smelled musty and like cigarette smoke. Everything I mean was broken... the toilet, the light switches, the AC, the doors, and more. If you're staying here, keep your expectations low. The only positive for families is that they do offer some decent activities for kids.

Unfortunately, the noise level significantly impacted our stay. We were in Room 28, and directly behind the room is a hallway used by staff from the upstairs bar. Throughout the first night, we heard a heavy door repeatedly slamming and staff using rolling carts to transport trash. The noise continued until about 3:00 a.m., making it very difficult to sleep. The next morning, I expressed my concerns to the front desk. He was polite, apologized, and said he would pass the information along. However, the noise resumed again the following night. Around 11:30 p.m., I stepped into the hallway and observed someone pulling trash on one of the carts; they did not appear interested in engaging when I tried to address it. Closer to midnight, after another loud door slam, I spoke with a different staff member who was very receptive and respectful. After that conversation, the noise level did decrease. I understand that hotel operations continue behind the scenes, but for a property positioned as an upscale boutique experience, I would expect better late-night noise control -- especially in rooms directly adjacent to service areas. The hotel has a lot of potential, and the cleanliness was excellent. However, due to the repeated overnight noise disruption, I would be hesitant to stay in that location of the property again.

The property itself is so much fun. It was recently remodeled and was done in a cute South Beach art deco style. It has a small bright pool and hot tub, as well as an outdoor tiki bar. The room had a king bed, modern bathroom, big screen TV, and small kitchenette. We got two complimentary alcoholic drinks upon check-in. The hotel also has a great second story restaurant and bar attached to it which we ate at on our first night there. Highly recommend a stay here.

Liam and Tanner at the front desk or so kind and helpful. They were great to talk to and extremely friendly! The hotel itself was nice, and my room was very spacious. It was a very fun, happy, vibe that was 50s retro inspired. If only the weather was warmer during my visit, I felt like I really could've maximized my time at the hotel. They really made great use of their space with Life-size games, mini golf, and not to mention the beach was just steps away. I will definitely have to come back when the weather is warmer!!

Our Usual place is closed due to the storm damage, so we booked here as they are one of the only places open with full Kitchenettes. Most of the Restaurants are still closed, Publix is open. CVS is open, Walgreens is open. Enough places to get essentials. Sir Hubbers & I drove around the whole hotel, the side streets surrounding this hotel are apocalyptic. I have never seen anything like it. Everyone has been flooded. All the gorgeous St Pete beach homes have been gutted & the entire contents of everyone's homes are on the street. It looks like a war zone. However, when you come into this property it looks immaculate. This place was somehow untouched. The two pools are gorgeous, the rooms spotless & our King Suite was super comfortable. Perfect in every way. Our King Suite has a full kitchen with a full size stove, full size refrigerator & a full size pull out couch with separate AC & fan. The separate King Bedroom & bath were divided by a sliding barn door with its on walk in closet, walk in Marble tiled Shower, it's own AC & fan! Our King bed & bath were super comfy & gorgeous in every way. We even had all brand new towels. Honestly, we can't find one thing to criticize about this place. They even have a wall of "Beach stuff" to use to take to the beach. WOW. This place is just perfect for us. Covered all our needs. We also met the lovely Amanda, she is super friendly, service was excellent. We LOVED our stay at "St Pete Beach suites" & can't wait to return. We have finally found our home away from home OuiOui.
