I lived at Country Village Apartments for two years and moved out on October 2nd. My overall…read moreexperience was disappointing, especially considering how high the rent is for what you actually get. There are no amenities provided for tenants--no pool, no gym, no play area for children, and no open clubhouse. The only feature offered is a small dog park. After moving out, management sent me a bill attempting to use up my security deposit with unreasonable charges. They billed me for every set of blinds in my apartment and for the carpet, even though both were in normal condition after two years of regular use. I lived there with my two children, and the blinds should clearly fall under standard wear and tear--if I were still a tenant, they would have replaced them for free. As for the carpet, I had no pets, no spills, and no stains. I even vacuumed thoroughly before leaving. There was no valid reason to charge me for carpet replacement. To make matters worse, management refused to do a walkthrough with me when I moved out. They said walkthroughs are done by management alone. The property manager, Keri, handled it very poorly. I made sure to record a video of the apartment before leaving to show its condition, as there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. Now, I'm having to take them to court to recover my security deposit. I would not recommend renting at Country Village Apartments due to unreasonable fees, lack of amenities, and poor management practices.

If I could rate this complex less than one star it would definitely be justified. The property is…read morerun down, hallways never cleaned, trash and animal waste everywhere outside, maintenance is never done in a timely manner, definitely lacking in customer service, and so overpriced for what you are getting. If you are looking for somewhere to rent keep looking because you definitely don't want to rent here. And also you will never be able to have guests after 8pm because they can't park there or if they do their car will be towed. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE SLUM LORDS!!!

I call every day multiple times and the apartment management won't pick up the phone . I've tried physically walking in to the office and speaking directly to the apartment managment as well. It is over 83 degrees in my apartment as I wright this at 3 am right now. My family to include my 6 year old son are unable to sleep again tonight because of how hot and unbearable the living situation in our apartment is . They sent an HVAC tech but when he opened up our ac It was a Chrysler AC unit they have not made sense 1971. We were able to see the air filter that was sooooo caked up and molded and I am concerned for our health that this is what we are breathing in here . After the HVAC guy for Morgan Properties left they closed out my matnence request , I still have no air and the ac unit we have clearly is not in clean working condition and needs to be replaced but matamance marked it as resolved (not matemence mans fault, he did as much as they would allow him). I feel like they are doing this so they can avoid violating tenant laws and show they are "working" on the request when they are truly just giving my the slum lord run around ! I also have not had a working washing machine in over 3 weeks. I Have also reported this to office management . With it being 83 degrees in my house and my washing machine not working and the water being left in the drum of the washing machine for 3 weeks my apartment smells like what I can only describe as Shreks Swamp !!! As I sit her at 3:00 am trying to cool my 6 year old son down in a bath so he can hopefully cool down enough to sleep to be able to go to his first week of school , I ask myself what kind of management company would think this is adequate living conditions for a child ! ME and my husband our disabled veterans on a fixed income and like most people are unable to just break our lease an move to somewhere habitable and safe . Please protect your family and go anywhere else!

Because this fell over Labor Day weekend, we returned the keys the next business day when the office reopened. Despite the apartment being completely empty, management charged us $132.33 for "extra days" simply because the keys weren't placed in a drop box -- something never clearly communicated. After five years as a resident, it feels petty and shortsighted to enforce such a charge -- particularly when the apartment was vacated and no real loss was incurred. What may seem like a minor policy matter internally sends a much bigger message externally: that the company prioritizes technicalities over fairness, and revenue over community. This ties into my broader experience here, where rent increased every single year without clear explanation, further showing how little value is placed on long-term residents. I did not expect to be treated this way after a 5-year tenancy, and it leaves a lasting negative impression. The apartments themselves are fine, but future residents should be aware that management appears to value rigid policy and profit over the people who make this community their home.

They don't do that anymore. They send notices normally when they have smoke detectors/sprinkler checks. And sometimes they don't send any notice. They just show up unannounced and enter your apartment. The lights on the main entrance way are all out and they have been for months. This creates a safety issue for residence. The rent has gone up every year but I'm not seeing the level maintenance being done to account for the increase. If you're looking for a decent apartment please look further. This isn't it. Trust me you'll thank me later.
