Its an aluminum piece, and I found matching pieces of it on the floor either where it was dropped during the removal. The invoice and receipt reflects a total of $406. After checking my credit card statement, it reflects a total of $426.30. How can a receipt not be transparent on the total? I have pictures of everything. Just be careful dealing with this company! I just slightly tapped my garage door with the rear l of my Kia Soul and it set off a chain reaction that nearly wrecked the whole thing. Seth arrived early in the morning a few days later, working alone, and set the door into its tracks, reset the cable, and even did a quick conditioning/cleaning job on the outside front of the door, making it look almost like a brand new door. In addition, he screwed in a support brace in the middle of the door because it was bowing. This is actually at the home of my elderly mother, and she has not done any servicing on the door for many years. Seth straightened it out and got it running right. The door is over 20 years old and I was almost thinking we would need a new one. Now I know that the door will run at least another 10 years if not longer. I would easily recommend this business to anyone needing servicing on their overhead garage door, thank you ESOD! And by the way, he never tried to sell me on a new door or motor (He did leave me with a catalog of new doors when I asked about that option), and when the bill arrived was shocked... At how reasonable it is. They charge a very fair and reasonable price for doing great work.

Last year I replaced my garage doors with a different company and called to have them look at the garage door since it was getting stuck and not coming down all the way. I thought being a former customer that I would get a decent estimate. I was quoted $500.00 for the motor and $320.00 for labor!! Outrageous prices and when confronted about the high cost of the job we informed the gentleman of a Craftsman's garage door opener at Lowe's for $199. He went on a rant bout liability insurance and a markup for the part at well over 60%. I will NOT use or recommend Delaware Express Garage Doors ever again. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND David and his company to replace/repair your garage door openers. He was prompt professional and got the job done in a little over an hour. I wish I could rate them 1,000,000 + stars! David was such a blessing to me. My garage door opener went crazy and would stop, go up, go down and would not close all the way. I tried everything I could to fix it with no luck. The next day I called several companies and they said they would have to send a technician out. One estimate for a new opener was way out of my price range. Another couldn't come for a week. When I called David he said "if you have a ladder, I can try to help you over the phone". I was at work so he said "just call me when you get home". I did and in 10 minutes he had the door working perfectly!!! He did not get one nickel for helping me! Dave Blake installed a new Chamberlain garage door opener for me on 9/12/2017. He also lubricated the door properly. Someone had used some type of grease on it before that didn't do much for the door. When Dave texted me to come out and look at the door I was really surprised at how much quieter the door was. Both garage openers used belt drives so they were both fairly quiet. The work he did on the hinges made it seem like he put a silencer on the door, it was very dramatic. I make a point to show the door to anyone who comes over to show them how quiet it is now. I'd highly recommend Mr. Blake for anyone looking to have new openers or doors installed. I called after hours because the garage wouldn't go up. He promptly came out the next day and fixed the door, quick and easy. Our doors were way passed over do for replacement and he hooked us right up. I appreciated that he didn't try to up sell but gave all the options at the same time. With the exception of a minor scheduling misunderstanding, the service was great! We had agreed to first thing in the morning, so I figured 7am or 8am. Found out he meant 9:30, so I sat around waiting for a couple of hours. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and even though my garage door presented challenges (painted over and stuck parts) they quickly and efficiently got the spring replacement done. The "oh well you signed the contract " statements were not warranted . I trusted a reputable company to guide a new customer. When my property was mapped out for fencing my irrigation system was there. No mention of needing to mark it out. On the date of install the forman stated he saw the irrigation system and that it wasn't mapped out. He started the job and notified me AFTER they punctured the system in ELEVEN places. I was rudely told the responsibility is my because I signed the contract. Would it have hurt to have mentioned IRRIGATION prior to starting the project? The contract mentioned UTILITIES. I didn't think of irrigation as such. Please have your irrigation system mapped out to avoid paying for a fence AND new irrigation!
