Unfortunately, we had several issues with the care my family received at this location. My husband's prescription was not handled correctly, requiring him to return to have their mistake corrected. We were also charged again for the additional visit, which was extremely frustrating and disappointing. We also had a serious issue with my son's eye exam. He was given an incorrect prescription, and we had to take him to another location and pay for another examination and a new pair of glasses. The doctors at the second location were very concerned when they reviewed the prescription he had originally been given. After these experiences, I would not feel comfortable recommending this location to anyone. An eye exam and prescription need to be accurate, and mistakes of this nature can have a significant impact on a patient. I strongly encourage anyone considering this location to do their research and, if necessary, travel a little farther to find a provider they can feel confident in.

When I woke up "Both of My eyes were hurting so much!!!! AND "For the record" I did try numerous times taking out the Contacts with Contact Lenses Solution with my thumbs but it didn't work . "Both of my eyes were hurting so much and the pain in both of my eyes was unbearable". I knew that there was no way that I could drive on I75 from LAKEWOOD RANCH. My husband was at work. Therefore, I had to wait until he got off work so he could take me directly to GULF COSTAL EYE CENTER. But the point of this review I was in so much pain and it was unbearable. Dr Steven Bovio took the time 30 minutes before closing his office to attend me. He cleared me that I didn't have the contact lenses still in my eyes and he prescribed eye drop medication to take. And I'm not allowed to drive for five days. The point of this review is to clearly "STATE" that if you just moved to this area.
