The eggs sat on the grill that wasn't turned on for a few minutes, The ham sandwiches required an incredible amount of time and effort. They eventually got done, but apparently that effort shattered any memory that the bologna sandwiches had ever existed. It's hard to put into words, but it was the opposite of too many chefs in the kitchen. There was no one at the wheel. Pete, you gotta keep at least one person who understands basic boars head on the morning shift.

Their portions were unacceptable and the presentation of the food was weak; the salmon was a cut into tiny pieces as was the skirt steak. It looked cheap. . They charged a small fortune to provide set up staff that left early and didn't help with clean up. They omitted some dessert items, which was documented in an email, and claimed we had canceled them. They are clearly a food "drop off" service and don't know a thing about event planning. They lead you to believe otherwise. I regret using them and would NEVER recommend their services

The charge was $45.00. After reviewing the receipt and returning we addressed the over charge which was $4.00 per $1 drink, the elderly man who is probably the owner commented the $1 advertised label price is not what you pay here, someone has to pay to keep it cold. We asked for a refund he said don't come back here again, go to the Spanish deli down the road! We won't be going there again, there's plenty of other places nearby for a better sandwich, with better prices!

Cream cheese is a little off and I ordered a toasted bagel with butter and as you can see by the picture it is barely toasted. The staff was very friendly and nice, but the processes of how they operate are not efficient. Not yo mention it took almost 15 minutes for a toasted bagel with butter and a bagel with cream cheese. To note, there was no one waiting ahead of me. Just 2 people who had ordered prior to me walking in. They offer many other sandwiches , smoothies and other things that might be good but this is not a good representation of bagels on the island. Maybe travel a little further down the road for a bagel.

I was here on a weekday morning and the place was bustling. Schmidt's is a grocery store but also has a full deli counter service offering a variety of breakfast and lunch options, plus hot food like fried chicken, hot dogs, burgers, you name it. The store was well organized and well stocked. Serve yourself options like the salad bar were well maintained and sanitary looking. I ordered two breakfast burritos which were well made and hefty. On my way out I also grabbed some brown butter toffee cookies from the front at the cashier, and truly I am still thinking about these cookies on a regular basis. They were that good. My husbands breakfast sandwich was bland to say the least and you could see the bread they use is just Natures own. I thought I had read they had gluten free bagels but all they had was white bread. They did have a really good gluten free slice of crumb cake but it was $7 which is a bit insane. If you're coming for the attraction of Schmidt's I'd suggest not making the trip but if you're close by just use it as a grocery store stop but don't go out of your way.

Cuisine: 6 Service: 7…read moreDecor: 4 Value: 7 Overall: 6 Simply put, the pizza crust was like cardboard. I'm definitely not a fan of the undercooked and under seasoned dough, which this pie was. The sauce was actually quite tasty and cheese was fine. However, as a whole, I would consider their pizza just average. On the other hand, their chicken roll was not bad. I also ordered some Latino food to go from the deli side of the shop. The beef soup I heated up the next day was delicious. I would totally get it again. The kielbasa was thick cut and decent, but rice and beans were just okay. There are a few tables and seats in the shop, so large groups don't really work. All the staff members were relatively friendly.

Walking into this place you would not expect the pizza to be that good. Outdated, a little grungy, relatively clean. The service here was super fast - we had our large pizza, 12 wing and 12 garlic knot special in just 15 minutes. The wings here are decent, could definitely be crispier though. Garlic knots are light and fluffy with ample garlic. They give blue cheese, not ranch with the wings which is the right way to do things. It's a smaller spot than Deli Delight, but it's clean and has most offerings you could want if you're stopping in for quick breakfast or lunch to go. The bacon egg and cheese sandwiches here are solid, and the breakfast burritos are an incredible amount of food for just $8. The homemade hot sauces they have here will blow your mind and also your intestines, in the best way possible. I love their signature Hampton's Olga blend of coffee they serve and sell here, so much so that I bought a bag of my own to brew at home. My only criticism (or I guess, more of a consideration to make if you're deciding between Deli Delight and this spot) is that orders can take a bit of time to make. If you're in a rush, I'd recommend calling ahead and placing an order over the phone! Also, I wish they had iced coffee.
