The jacuzzi in the room was actually very nice and was separate from the bathtub in the bathroom. The jets were a bit loud When we checked in, we were told the Coffee was 24 hours a day but on Friday morning it wasn't and my friend had to wait an hour and a half for hot coffee. They also offer what they call a continental breakfast on weekdays, which was bagels, waffles you pop in the toaster, oranges, yogurt, bags of instant oatmeal and juice. I guess it's better than nothing, but we decided to get breakfast elsewhere. The cost to rent a golf cart was quite expensive (maybe it's that way on the whole island). $79 for a full day and $97 for overnight. If this was the only option I might come here again. Otherwise, nah!!

Picture is from our balcony after they clear out of the pool area. Music stops at 9 pm so you don't have to worry about noise when going to sleep. Short walk to Mr. Ed's which is a great place to dance, get drinks and eat. Only suggestion would be having more help at the desk to facilitate check in/check out and paying for concessions.

The rooms felt very clean. It was at the very beginning of the season. The pool, hot tub, tiki hut, coffee shop were all closed but the staff was very accommodating. We stored our luggage until time to check in. Also Nick had the fire pit started for us for when we returned so we could enjoy it! We took many photos with the beautiful lake view!! The water in the shower was so hot it was scalding and you could not shower. Brushing your teeth with scalding hot water is fun too. The maintenance man told me he was busy remodeling the 3rd floor and could not get to it. How about the bar, we'll the bartender hardly could speak or understand English. They only had 3 types of beer, they were out of everything else. Our friend ordered a Margarita and they had no mix so the bartender mixed tequila with some other clear alcohol and squirt and charged $12.00. Speaking of charged, this is the only hotel we have stayed at that charged $3.00 for a small coffee and $6.00 for a large, in fact it's first hotel that we have stayed that charged for coffee. You can't complain to the manager because he or she is non existent and was never once on site. And to top it off you better not need anything a night but if you do you can find the night desk clerk at the pool after it's closed with her boyfriend the other bartender, that by the way closed the bar early so he could steal booze and meet his girl friend, the night desk clerk at the pool. We will never stay at this over priced joke of a hotel. Most of the staff should be fired and the owner would know this if he was ever there or gave a crap.

I highly recommend this resort. The owner--Ed--Ed is a long time resident and very congenial, along with his entire staff! I highly recommend this resort which has cabins and duplex cabins surrounding a large swimming pool. I plan on staying with them again in the future!

Not really my vibe but everyone seemed to be happy and enjoying a few songs here and there. The drinks were great. The bartender in the pool was great. Very attentive and friendly. Like most popular places the drinks were expensive and the big "O" drink was all ice, but it was nice to carey around. It seemed like there was enough staff to keep up with the demand of the crowd. Security made regular rounds and was very friendly. It was a nice day overall. There was a booty shaking contest, a belly flop contest and a wet t-shirt contest that never actually happened. I'm old but it was fun to spend a day at the pool drinking and cheering on strangers. I do wish there was a better layout on the upper deck. People tend to line up along the side to people watch and it makes it a tight fit when it's time to go get a drink from the bar upstairs. The upper deck didnt have any umbrellas for shade. I understand that most people would go up there and sunbathe but with the amount of people taking up all the space downstairs it would have been a nice break to sit in a shaded area for a moment. Also there was no food and that kind of stinks. I realize it's better to keep drunk people from trashing the place but it would have been nice to be able to order snacks that we could have eaten off to the side. I'm not a hard-core partier but I enjoyed being able to go hang out during the day and have a good time.

We slept on the ground in sleeping bags. There were a lot of people making noise until about 12:30am, playing music, singing, talking and yelling. The showers were not great but fine for a campground. I went to bed around 2am when everything had died down. Around 7am, some banging started like there might be a shooting range nearby. In the morning, I explored the camping area and got some exercise. So much better than a hotel gym! I ran around, shot some hoops, and bounced on their "jumping pillow" which was exactly what I needed before a day of driving. And it was so much cheaper than a hotel room.

Bring your cooler and drinks and head on up. The pool is solid and the bar/restaurant is as well. The villas have AC and stove, fridge and microwave. Villa 5 has a huge deck and grill. Bring your own towels and linen and you are set. Sometimes we don't even make it over to PIB. Middle Bass more for locals and not near as rowdy. Good weekend
