The film on the left lens of my glasses was unfortunately breaking down and making vision blurry in…read morethat eye. I hadn't had my eyes checked in a couple years so I decided to get that taken care of in the same visit. Dr. Erickson was very thorough examining my eyes and he was friendly as well. I was hoping that I could get just the film on my glasses replaced instead of the whole lens, but sadly my vision worsened a little and I had to get brand new lenses anyway. Apparently there is a $40 charge to replace lenses if you bring your own frames, but my insurance completely covered most of the frames offered here. There is a really nice variety of both practical and designer looks. They are very patient with you and want you to try everything to make sure you find something you like. The employees here are polite and want to make you feel comfortable. Even in the waiting room, hot drinks and cookies are offered. You can tell they try to go the extra mile for you. I am very happy with my new glasses and I won't hesitate to come back here.

I was VERY pleased with his staff, expertise, service, facility, technology and knowledge. He solved that problem and diagnosed something else that had been bothering me. Well, I decided to switch and am glad I did. They are highly professional and caring. The staff seems to enjoy their work and they seem to be taken care of. I went back and showed them my current contact Rx, with astigmatism correction, (as I had shown the co-op at my appointment). After blaming the co-op (for not getting all the info from my previous Rx), he re-wrote the new Rx the same as my previous Rx w/o re-examining? Slightly concerning, will not return.

He worked with me on getting in to see him without insurance and was very upfront about the pricing and options available to me. Additionally, he was able to give me an exam that worked for my schedule (with short notice). He was very patient and thorough in explaining what he was doing and helping me understand the process. Because of my schedule, his office was able to ship my glasses to me and I have had very pleasant follow-up conversations with him since then. I will be going back for all my eye care needs in the future.
