This was quite possibly one of the WORST experiences we have endured over many decades of attempting to purchase powersport vehicles. "Sam" was very rude, condescending and disrespectful to say the least. So much so that my wife - one of the most easy-going persons you will ever meet - told him so and walked out of the showroom. "Sam" literally told me, "I don't really care if you buy from me or not. Buy from someone else." He said also stated, "I knew you were going to be a problem as soon as you tried to negotiate with me." Excuse me? Do you really expect potential customers to spend five figures on a recreational vehicle without even attempting to bargain? Just pay the asking price, eh? That's absurd. What is truly dumbfounding about our experience is that I began my conversation with "Sam" by telling him we were there not just to buy a cart, but to build a relationship like I had done with my local Ford/Lincoln dealership, from whom we have purchased 14 new vehicles from in the past ~20 years -- same salesman for nearly all of them, until he retired recently. We drove the 1+ hour back home, astounded at our time at PSI 42. Less than 24 hours later, we did exactly as "Sam" had suggested: We purchased an $11K rec EVolution D5 Maverick 4 Plus golf cart from another dealer. The staff and ownership at that dealership could give "Sam" a remedial lesson on how to provide a gracious and appropriate level of customer service. As long as "Sam" is there, I would avoid this place at all costs. Caveat emptor. P.S. - "Sam" didn't want my business, so we purchased a 2025 EVolution D5 Maverick elsewhere.

My experience with US27 goes back a few years...I bought a very nice Sure-Trac trailer from them,…read moreand haven't regretted the purchase a bit. Fast-forward to early August 2018, when the wife and I decided it was time to purchase another Polaris ATV. We first went to MotorCity Powersports - a mistake I won't go into right now, a mistake I won't repeat. I decided to give 127 a shot, and I called and spoke with Aaron. Yes, he got me a good deal on another great Polaris machine, a 450 Sportsman with windshield and winch. But once the deal was closed, problems began. When we arrived, the Friday before Labor Day, to take delivery on our machine, it did NOT have a windshield on it; Aaron assured me he would order it and it would arrive post haste, and he would let me know when it did. Three weeks later, no call from Aaron. I called the dealership and was assured my windshield was in. So I made the trip from Detroit to St. Johns to pick up my windshield...I figured, yeah, it was supposed to be installed on the machine, but what the hey, it's not that big a deal to install (I've installed two of them on my previous Polaris quads). I get the box to my cabin in Shepherd - Mt. Pleasant area, about 40 minutes north - only to find Aaron ordered the WRONG PART (it was just the replacement windshield, no mounting brackets or hardware). More calls to Aaron, who suddenly is VERY difficult to connect with. Finally get hold of Aaron, who tells me he'll order a new windshield and tell me when it arrives. Another three weeks pass, with ZERO word from Aaron. I made yet another call to the dealership and learned the windshield had arrived, but since Aaron hadn't notified me that it was in, THEY SOLD IT to someone else. So let me put this in caps so that it's VERY well understood: AARON GIVES ME THE IMPRESSION THAT HE DOESN'T GIVE A $#!T ABOUT THE CUSTOMER ONCE THE DEAL IS CLOSED. So I decided to go over his head. Being former military, I understand the protocol of 'chain of command'. So as much as I wanted to go straight to Polaris and tell them what was going on, I knew I owed it to 127 management to give them one last shot at fixing the problem. So I phoned 127 and got hold of Chris "Crazy Chris" Halliday. Within a week of my initial conversation with Chris, I had my windshield...and since I was installing it myself, he even 'comped' me with some merchandise to make sure I was happy. So, long and short: I cannot in good conscience give them an overall good rating because of Aaron's AWFUL track record - I wouldn't buy a pork chop from him if I were starving - but because of "Crazy Chris" Halliday, I can at least give them three stars. If you decide to go there, MAKE SURE TO AVOID AARON. Let Chris help you instead...you won't regret it.

Very disappointing experience with Mangrove Motorsports/RideWorks…read more My 76-year-old mother purchased a used 2022 Kawasaki Mule Pro FXT from this dealership after I found the machine advertised on Facebook Marketplace. She drove approximately 1 1/2 hours to look at it and purchased it after being led to believe it was a good machine. After I picked the Mule up and brought it home, I inspected it more closely and found several issues that concerned me. The Mule had approximately 19,000 miles, which was not disclosed in the Marketplace advertisement we saw. I also found broken headlights, a broken windshield/bracket, significant grass and debris packed into the engine compartment, and other signs that raised serious concerns about how the machine had been used and maintained. We also found sludge/moisture residue under the engine oil cap. I am not claiming a mechanical diagnosis, but the condition was concerning enough that I documented it extensively with photographs. I contacted the dealership and attempted to resolve the situation directly. I was initially told by the salesman that the Mule had a 15-day warranty if something failed. On September 21, I sent the dealership a detailed written complaint along with an extensive evidence package containing photographs and documentation. I subsequently followed up and eventually sent a final written notice giving the dealership another opportunity to address the situation. As of October 1, we have received no substantive response or proposed resolution. We gave the dealership multiple opportunities to address this privately before taking further action. A consumer complaint has now been filed with the Michigan Attorney General Consumer Protection Division. I will update this review if Mangrove Motorsports/RideWorks responds and makes a good-faith effort to resolve the situation.
